Great work Mr Beastie. I would love, love, love to get regular updates on these little guys. Maybe do a short, 30 second sneak peek every couple of days so we can see how fast these nymphs grow on?

Hey Dave & Camera Lady! Great video as usual! One of my favourite species of tarantulas, and probably spiders (maybe even inverts as a whole). Their colouring is very stunning, in my opinion, very few spiders even come close in the wow factor department. Of course, that`s my personal opinion (i`m looking at you, keyboard warriors). Alright, so it wasn`t greatest sac in history but it`s still something! I`m happy that you got the vast majority of the bad egg pieces off of the babies, poor little guys. I wonder why some eggs went bad, that`s very interesting to me, so many things that we don`t yet know about their lives and breeding, still lots that is a mystery to us. Now Dave, before i sign off, i wanted to tell you about something that happened yesterday (Tuesday) after dinner, it involves a little Beastie. So my step mom is the biggest clean freak ever. I swear, half the time she`s vacuuming dog hair, she even vacuums the freaking table after dinner which i find obnoxious. But anyway, she was vacuuming near the dog food bowls after dinner and there was apparently a spider on the chip box we`re saving for trick or treaters. I Was like: Hang on, i`ll get a container. I`ve picked up a thing or two from Dave by now. The moment i get up from my seat, i hear the vacuum go on, then switch off. She had sucked up the lil Beastie :(. I was like: that really wasn`t necessary. And for some reason, the entire family started laughing at me. Really annoying. I tell my brother after: Remember the golden rules: be calm, be gentle and love your spiders. My brother is like: those words mean absolutely nothing to me. Spiders are dangerous and they chase you and bite you when you did not do anything. I`m like: wrong, spiders can barely see you to begin with, so they can`t chase you. They only bite as a last resort and you really have to piss them off for them to bite you. Then he`s like: well i read an article of someone putting their shoes on in Australia and was bitten by a spider. I`m like: Ok first of all, if you live in Australia, check your shoes. Second of all: The spider was in danger of being squished so it`s gonna protect itself. I don`t know WHY Dave, but my family hates reptiles & Beasties alike. Like, i could have easily grabbed a container and let the spider outside. Spiders don`t get big around here, and they`re not dangerous. I felt bad for the little Beasty. I found myself walking out of the kitchen a few minutes later, cursing under my breath. You know? It would be nice to live in a family who actually like animals and don`t see them as savage Beasts and think they all serve no use, gets annoying after a while. On top of that, they`re always grumpy and ungrateful, gets old after a while, Especially my step mom and dad, always grumbling about something, always complaining and grumpy. I`m not gonna be like them when i become a parent in the very far future. All this to say: A Beasty was lost last night, RIP House Spider. Much love from Ontario, Canada. I hope you two and the Beasties are well, see you tomorrow (since it`s Wednesday when i`m writing this), do reply Dave! Love reading your replies! Looking forward to tomorrow`s video!

Okay, that was fun. Hello Dave and Camera Lady. I was excited for this one as the Metallica are one of my favourites. I would say definitely a successful pairing. Glad you got some out of it atleast , makes me really grateful for my P.metallica sling , only had the little guy a week or two , hoping it starts showing some colour soon , can be a bit of a pain to find lol
Great video again. Maybe it was too wet in the enclosure and that caused some of the eggs to go bad. Just a thought. I'm glad you got over 50 babies and hope they all survive.
That was close. I feared the worst as She wasn't willing to protect it. But in the End not a total Desaster. Cameralady will of course always be the Master but You did a great Job too. Fingers crossed they'll all get through 🤞
Hi Dave and cameralady, yet another amazing video! I thought you were indicating in another video that when you pull the eggsack, the female is rehoused in a 20x20x30 again, any particular reason she is staying in the 30x30x45 for now?Did the high level of moisture cause any molt in the substrate, or might this be the cause of 50% going bad (black)??
The inside of the nursery pot is like landing on feathers its very soft and they are in no danger at all, it would be more hazardous to put them on the base than drop them on it , no nymphs were harmed in the making of this video 😂❤️
Great video Dave,I've got a few pokies now,but the metallica has always been my favourite, I sent my male off for breeding in January still hoping to get some slings back ,have a great day mate
Another calm, relaxing and enjoyable video this lunchtime, many thanks Dave and Camera-lady for this fascinating footage. Although looking at the little eggs it bought to mind looking at the tiny spiderlings looked like miniature 'Facehuggers' from 'Aliens'!! Dave--Do you have any Brazilian wandering spiders in the beastie room? And what is your perspective on those type of arachnid? 🙂
So when it came to this particular egg sac do you think the environment contributed to the issues the sac had? You mentioned that it seemed a bit wet in the enclosure and that it wasnt "ideal" for the spider.
Dave I watched many of your videos and enjoyed everyone one of them. Like you said be calm, be gentle and love your spiders. Every tarantula is beautiful and have a different personality. I wish over in the United States would have a invertebrate expo instead of having invertebrates in a reptile expo. The one species that you might be interested in and it's a smaller tarantula is the Gabon blue dwarf baboon. I want to thank you and the camera lady for putting out videos because it shows no matter where you live in the world people still love the hobby and show off the different species of tarantulas they have. Know I'm up to 15 to 20 different species and love them. I'm still trying to learn the scientific names of each species that are out their. So far my favorite are the baboon species because they're very visually seen and also not defensive when you give them enough substrate to burrow down to make their tunnels. So far I've only got one male tarantula in my collection. It's going to be sad when it passes on because it's was one of my first old worlds that I bought.
Interesting that the mum let go of the sac about as soon as you started pulling back the bark, kind of like when they calm down shortly after a healthy sac pull. Do sacs that turn out 'bad' tend to be easier to remove like that? Hope the babies survive, they'd be lovely to see 🤞
Its almost like she knew it wasn't a great sac the way she gave it up but I think it turned out pretty good 56 eggs with legs and it didn't look like there was all that much left in the sac. 🤞 the 56 you got all survive Once again great video guys 👍😊

I have a P Metallica. Had her a year now. Got her as a spiderling. She's beautiful. Such beautiful spiders, but hide so you can't see their beauty.
Be more careful with her food and you will encourage her out more 👍
Is dropping them into the cup so they bounce not damaging them? I'm so used to seeing you being very gentle!
The inside of the nursery pot is like landing on feathers its very soft and they are in no danger at all, it would be more hazardous to put them on the base than drop them on it , no nymphs were harmed in the making of this video 😂❤️
so glad you were able to save some of them, I hope those healthy ones make it!
good mornig beasti 👍
It's crazy how some of the most beautiful tarantulas like to be hiding
Well Dave I hope all the little ones that you did get will survive!!
Fab video once again, fingers crossed that most of those EWL survive 😀 I am thinking of maybe picking up a Gooty at Brighton next month
These will be ready in a couple of weeks 👍👍message me on Facebook 👍
It's funny how we all have favourite tweezers and tongs 😂 congratulations dave,I'll look forward to taking a couple of these from you 😉
They will be ready in a couple of weeks my friend 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties 🤞🤞🤞
Interesting how diverse egg sacks can be! I'm so glad that you pulled it. I wonder if the sac was left, would they all end up dying?
Most probably yes 👍
Jesus Dave ,when u say that's a bad incloser ,looks better then anything I've got ,I've got to step up my game ,.
😂😂😂👍
Your thumbnail had a bit of a spoiler in it, once I'd put the cursor on it it revealed the spoiled eggs. Great video btw.
Can you keep us updated on these spiders please Dave?
Great video Dave,I've got a few pokies now,but the metallica has always been my favourite, I sent my male off for breeding in January still hoping to get some slings back ,have a great day mate
Good luck mate keep us informed 👍
Another calm, relaxing and enjoyable video this lunchtime, many thanks Dave and Camera-lady for this fascinating footage. Although looking at the little eggs it bought to mind looking at the tiny spiderlings looked like miniature 'Facehuggers' from 'Aliens'!! Dave--Do you have any Brazilian wandering spiders in the beastie room? And what is your perspective on those type of arachnid? 🙂
I dont have any no , I have worked with them in the past and they are pretty easy to care for no trouble 👍
I’m your answering service today! Hope I informed people correctly in the comments😂
❤️❤️❤️
So when it came to this particular egg sac do you think the environment contributed to the issues the sac had? You mentioned that it seemed a bit wet in the enclosure and that it wasnt "ideal" for the spider.
Too much humidity?
Where she held it , it was dry the outside was wet where I had been soaking it , we have treated the other sac the same so we will see how that goes 👍
Very interesting video!
Good vid 👍, some is better than none
Great video brother
Much appreciated
Eggs with legs look like the face huggers from the alien movies . Lol but cuter of course ☺️
Hope the babies survive, they'd be lovely to see 🤞
Not always each is an individual and behaves differently 👍
This is a dream spider of mine. I will get to getting one eventually but I want more experience.
Its almost like she knew it wasn't a great sac the way she gave it up but I think it turned out pretty good 56 eggs with legs and it didn't look like there was all that much left in the sac.
🤞 the 56 you got all survive
Once again great video guys
👍😊
I’m so sorry it didn’t turn out they way you had hoped. Still very interesting and I will be waiting for the update, good or bad ❤
Thank you!
Lets goo purple babiesssss
Hey Dave!
She is happy you took it... otherwise she had to clean the mess... pity, but at least you have 50%.
If a live one would not come away from the black egg, could you put them both in the nursery in hopes they would separate later?
They are stuck to it so we must remove them or run the risk of contamination 👍
Wish we could get updates from other eggsacs
