Roman really looks amazing like just from the visuals I can tell he’s hurting he is in so much pain but he thinks it’s the only thing he can do and he doesn’t want someone like Virgil who is loved by practically everyone to get taken down with him this is literally so beautiful

Seriously the shattered mirror part was done so well!
That ending hit me hard though because to me it was basically showing Virgil was the only thing Roman had left to loose. So he is protecting Virgil from him but also trying to cut off any chance of Virgil forgiving him so that he truly has nothing left now.
I am always in love with people using the hoodie as symbolism and this was magnificently done. I don't know if that ending was supposed to imply romantic or purely platonic prinxiety, but either way it really struck a chord, with the idea of betraying the last person that was on his side and finally having nothing else to lose.

The pain in both their expressions is so masterfully portrayed that I don't even know what to point out first. It all just fits the song and the plot to a t.

I can't get over how beautiful and well-made this animatic is, BUT NOW YOU HAVE ME THINKING--
WHAT IF ROMAN ACTUALLY HAD MORE POWER OVER THE OTHER SIDES THAN THEY REALIZE??? BECAUSE ALL OF THEM TAKING FORM, HAVING THEMES, HAVING PERSONALITIES... THAT'S ALL DUE TO THOMAS'S CREATIVITY!!!

i loved this whole animatic, but i have to say my favorite part was definitely when roman punched the mirror and shattered the image of his past self to show a cracked reflection of who he was and who he is now. absolutely phenomenal!

Wow there is just so much passion and emotion behind this. The casting is so spot on and Virgil singing as Varian is too perfect and it just really hit home with Roman being so upset with being called a villain, especially as being the prince persona. Just so well done
