I have an aprilia sr50 and it has a really long 0-15 then just shoots off. Do you reckon it's just the clutch that needs adjusting or is it another issue?
I love my polini adjustable clutch I thought when loosening Each Equally of course made it grab harder. I thought tightening Them Made it Not Grab As hard as it would. I'm probably backwards on this

Hello, I have a icebear mojo magic trike 150cc gy6... My question is the kickstater is very hard is there away to fix it? I have battery jumping as back up because i have bad right hip. I've had people use the kicker but it sounds and acts trouble.

I have a gy6 100cc bbk with 5-gram roller weights 1000rpm blue clutch springs and stock contra spring, when I take off from a stop there is almost 0 torque... my friend has the same scooter with all stock CVT components and he can literally burn rubber! why would I have such low torque off the line? could my belt be slipping? how would I know? or should I try different springs? lots of questions I know... but I really would like some insight from someone like you! Edit: also I've installed a 150cc 22mm carburetor with 90 jet.

@@Scooterswapshop , I can do the work myself its just I've never owed this style of clutch before and needed to know if the pinging when the clutch grabs the bell is normal in this new polini 3g maxispeed clutch on my gy6 150cc ruckus I built from ground up. The stock clutch never made this noise even with 2000 rpm red spring it kind of reminds me of the reeveno clutch sound and running 835x20x30 belt because the 842×20×30 was wearing grooves of itself onto variator leaving a mess to scrub off.

I have the exact same problem. Most likely rollers. Mine goes well to 25, than slow af to 50, than 50 to 65 it goes good. So I probably need lighter rollers
both, heavy rollers and soft torque spring. If every time you hit a hill she looses power, torque spring too soft. Either way, your rollers are too heavy
James Rindley yes but you don’t really have an option if you need it to engage that high. Clutches are a wear item. If you run a high quality clutch it will last a long time. Stock clutches or cheap clutches however will burn up really fast.
I have a 50cc icebear trike I’ve put a bigger jetted carb and racing cdi box I’m going to put smaller rollers in vartor. It’s doing better but is the ring you take out of the varsities inside where rollers are? Because it’s looking like someone tried but didn’t finish. I am just wanting it to go 45! 50mph. But I know I’m going to need a cheap but good clutch up grade kit possibly a racing varator. Its hard to get to work on it being disabled .? But I love to ride it helps me forget about my health issues but I want it to be able to go 45 times 55mph so when I’m in country I can just cruise

I am not sure on what all I have to do because I’ve gotten bigger jetted carb I’m putting in lighter weight rollers in varator I am going to get a new belt a couple just Incase I’ve put racing coil on it and racing cdi box but it’s bugging me should I just order a racing varator and clutch and a couple of the belts they recommend for going faster or just use regular ones? And its doing way better it was only going 30 level surface and barely 20 up hill it’s going 38/39 level surface 25/28 up hill so I’ve improved it a little bit but I like going out in country and just cruising but I want it to go 55/60. Because I’m use to motorcycle’s but I’m disabled and I’m of balance and if my legs are not working right I can still ride but I just want it to be able to get out of it’s own way if need be. So and real truthful information I’d be so grateful. Still trying to find the stock weight of rollers in varator. I guess I’m going to have to see if harbor freight has scales that read in grams lol I know what they are going to be thinking. Oh ya I’ve got to figure out what stock valve settings are and where to move them to see I knew I was forgetting something simple.
Man, I just pumped out 1K to go in one big circle. This shop I am getting my work done at really don't know what they are doing. I have had the top end redone twice. The 1st time I got it switched, it went 3K miles and started have the same issue. Piston got seized. UGH! Now I am at 1300 miles within 12 months and guess what? Shop: "Hey, we think it may be the clutch." Me: "You know, since we changed the top end to 70cc, I was thinking I should change the clutch, variator, Carb, ya know, the major components." Shop: "Wow, you haven't changed the clutch in 1300 miles?" Me: " Dude, are you serious right now? I get my service done from you and I follow my manual, as far as a clutch is concerned, it says check. You're my checker, I get regular maintenance thru you guys. Now I have done changed everything on this bike for nothing and now you are trying to tell me I should have done it by now. I say you should have told me by now."
@@Scooterswapshop sounds more like a yz125 to me, all 2 strokes sound like that in one variant or another, it does sound sick though. I just put a new racing muffler on my 200 bored 110cc frankenstein peace motorsport scooter, I've modded to hell,and it came with no baffle 🤪 been running it like that for about a month and I'm going to have to make a small baffle, the lack of back pressure has made it a night mare to tune the engine and I've lost about 5 mph on the top end was running abt 80 but now mid low 70s and it's running late and hot, that's my project for Saturday 👍
u can adjust the clutch indeed but lifespan of those pads are too short.i did set up too tight my delta and yeah the pads are almost gone.and everytime u doing the adjustment the rollers should be adjust it too and the contra spring.
Not helpful whatsoever, my clutch has springs that are not adjustable. Besides a lower poundage/loose spring will grab sooner not later, the higher poundage/tight spring will leave at a higher RPM.

You can only adjust the higher performance race clutches
You can change your engagement of your oem clutch by changing the springs
