► ABOUT:
rosalina is a recurring character of the super mario franchise who first appeared in super mario galaxy. she is the guardian space and resides in the comet observatory alongside the lumas, of whom she adopts. rosalina helps mario in his quest to save peach from bowser in return for fixing the comet observatory in order to travel through the universe. she has also made appearances in other games such as mario kart, mario party and super smash bros.
leia organa is one of the main characters of the star wars franchise. she leads the rebel alliance against the empire terrorising the galaxy and defeats the sith lord death vader along with her brother luke skywalker and her husband han solo. in the sequel trilogy, leia becomes the mentor of rey, the last remaining jedi.

I might be late to this specific battle (I first watched it only a little less than a week ago), but it’s a good one nonetheless. When I first saw this, I sided with Rosalina as Leia I believe has more material to work with, and I though having the latter go first would make her lose HARD, but I’m surprised to see this more balanced than I imagined. I’m for sure giving the win to Rosalina (and in a more biased perspective, I often like soft voices should they fit the character and still deliver a potent performance) as while I didn’t truly get everything she said, with context clues, a bunch of things hit hard. The Luma moment was fitting and didn’t ruin anything for me, as it only appeared for a couple short moments in one verse. Some things that I found a bit off-putting were the flow and enunciation of some parts (those matter in my opinion, although I’m happy that neither aspect was too “off” throughout) and the editing (specifically here in some parts; I’m sure that has improved but some sections have edits that made me cringe).
Criticisms aside, this is a masterpiece, and I will await for future content that intrigues me (for example, I heard that, should everything go right, you’ll drop a battle with Homura from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, which’ll interest both me and my best friend, who is currently watching the aforementioned anime).
I really appreciate comments like these lmao, thank you for taking the time to watch this! In retrospect, I feel personally that this project is on the weaker side of things I've done as it was written only a few months after I started battle making which meant that I didn't have much experience with flow, pacing and overall trying to make a cohesive battle. I'd like to think, however, that over time I've gotten much better at refining my style of battle making and my knowledge of the fundamentals. You can expect to see more impressive content from me over the coming months so be sure to check them out!
As for the Homura battle, I'll be the first to say that it was also written during that period where I was still trying to find my footing so in some spots it may seem just the tiny bit rough. I think you'll be able to enjoy it nonetheless, some people still hold it high regard even despite its age :))
There's a difference in rappers going first or second?
@@ChloeAnandraee Regarding that, I tend to prefer it if the side with less material to work with/diss about goes first during a matchup in which one side has more material to work with/is easier to diss. In this case, Rosalina has less to work with, so I was surprised to see that this battle was surprisingly more balanced than anticipated.
My above preference also happens to be why I (when I first brought up the collaborative matchup idea of Futaba Sakura (Persona 5) vs. Penny (Pokémon Scarlet/Violet) that for now I, alongside my best friend, want to work with Rayyan on) stated that regarding my intended collab rap project, Penny should go first, as she has less to work with between her and Futaba.
@@angelicwarrior118 Any reason why they should go first? I assume it's because the second rapper normally has the hardest hitting roast when the battle ends, (they get the final say), so the first rapper can't respond or make a rebuttal to that verse.
@@ChloeAnandraee did…you…skim through my reply without reading carefully? You do know that a battle will tend to be more balanced if a side with less to work with goes first. Reading your reply seems to imply that you didn’t read mine carefully/didn’t understand anything from it in the end.
On the topic of your claim, the amount of material/ammo is balanced by the second side being the first to make rebuttals on things the other side said. Both sides can have hard-hitting lines and I do not recommend making intentionally one-sided battles.

Star wars is my favorite fictional franchise, and while I'm sad that Leia lost that badly, I still love this battle to death and can tell the passion you have for both characters. Sucks that Leia's Death Star line didn't make the cut from the SoundCloud release, I thought that was one of the slickest lines in the battle, on par with the may the 4th be with you line
It was a hard decision to make having to cut the last 4 lines of Leia's 2nd verse in the final audio but I didn't want the battle to drag that much so I had to cut them out unfortunately. I'm really glad you enjoyed this!

It being “underrated” most likely stems from the fact that SIR Rap Battles, along with most other RUclips-based rap battle channels, isn’t that well-known.
1st) You should pay yourself and if y’all for creating something so jazzy and amazing
2nd) That beat is a BOP
3rd) @George Gerardi I agree and also shout out to Garbage Gothic, every time she is on the mic the impression is perfections and her voice is a perfect harmony
4th) Disses hit harder in my opinion when they are true, and Leia’s first verse was almost all facts
5th) I really didn’t think Rosalina could come back but dang, whoever wrote this outdid themselves
6th) You got a sub!!!!
7th) Overall both sides were awesome with mostly truths for disses. In my opinion Leia’s first verse was fire, but that Rosa comeback from the insult disses about her flaws was crazy. I also feel that Leia got cut a lot, but I realize you guys might of done that to make it feel like a real rap where they were talking to each other and not a ramble, so I’m still impressed.

Hey, I saw this in a video containing good verses and saw Rosalina's pop up. Decided to check this out and I think you did great! I love Rosalina and you did her justice. Both voice actors are great! My only issues are that some parts are a little too fast and some lines contain too many syllables. Other than that, great job, keep it up!

Hey look, a fellow chiseler! I also noticed instances with unnecessary fast delivery that sounded jarring at points and there being lines with too many syllables when compared to the meter/beat. But in the end, there were standout moments and enough aspects that kept me entertained in watching this. I will say, Rayyan has gotten better since the early phase this was made in.
This was fun as hell.

Well to me, at points in this battle, the enunciations were off/rushed. Granted, Rayyan would reply to my individual comment in this comment section that this battle was written in his initial phase, back when he still didn’t understand the making of rap battles that well, so I do excuse this somewhat. But in the end, it should be kept in mind that one should avoid cramming to many words onto a beat without taking the beat into consideration.
Since then, Rayyan would learn from this and as a result, his later battles had more consistent and on-point flows.
I was not expecting this, no bias at all but Rosalina won this battle she clapped back so hard

I have come from the future and i have news first this battle is lit and bonnie's bakery is going to have a rap battle
This is the example of how to rebuttal someone enough to the point where nobody remembers what you said, Leia kept bringing up her childhood trauma and saying that there is no true Galaxy 3, but we all know the reputation of the new Star Wars trilogy, and the Smash 4 bar is an accidental complement (and the fast rapping from GG just wasn't as clean for me). Rosalina rebuttaled the perfection bar and the constant family roasts twice with incest, and the Smash Bros. bar might be the dirtiest opening punch on this channel. The 2nd round, Leia tried with the zero gravity only for it to be reversed with the Force bar. Rosalina won.
