as much as I adore wing 3 & 4, i always feel in retrospect they should've followed wing commander 2's lead & focused less on conversation choices, which often felt hollow & had no bearing on the wider story (honorable exception goes to the wing 4's final senate scene) and more on a simplistic branching mission structure (at least compared to wing 1's crazy mission tree) since in the second game the plot (arguably the best in the series) was virtually identical in either the winning or losing track, which from a purely practical perspective makes the whole thing easier to film, especially since back then they were doing live action. besides, even a simplistic branching mission structure feels more consequential to the game, & I'm happy to kick back between missions & enjoy some uninteractive FMV if they're as well filmed & acted as they are in wing 3 & 4.
It's a shame that Maniac reverts in Prophecy. It's like they tossed out all his character development in WC4. Might have been better to have another 'bully' character harrass Casey and ironically have Maniac straighten the dude out. He goes back to being a "one dimensional goofball".
@John Doe I feel like since Maniac was surrounded by kids, and the galaxy was quiet for so many years he felt like he had to resort to his old ways, mostly as a way for him to hang on to his glory days as his career was winding down. This was probably his last tour, and he wanted to be remembered as the funny, wisecracking ace of aces. And just like everything Maniac does, he took it too far.
2:22 Clearly Tom Wilson drove the DMC Time Machine to the set and the guy sitting behind the TVs stole, went 2020, annnnnnd decided to get a jump on things.
RIP, Jason Bernard. Left us way, way too soon.
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
Loved him in Herman's Head.
I still have the original on six CD´s ;)))
Hell yeah
That trailer gives away the big plot twist xD
"People, if you push, we're not going to get on the train!" Hamill is awesome.
"chalked up another one for the Maniac"
Wonderful of them to do the behind the scenes bit as they film the main plot twist !
I'm so glad I didn't see that trailer before I played the game. Kind of a massive plot twist reveal in there
I could not play this when released, my PC did not have an Intel Pentium 75mhz processor :(.
i had to upgrade my pc just to play it
