Literally have more fun with dave mirra physics. Rotation friction is wayyyy to high making any fluent looking spin nearly impossible. Frame rate drops all around. Weird things like no character customization which is strange by todays standards. But hey… my tires warp slightly from highs falls👍😂 and to rub it in our faces first thing you get is all this talk about the community modding? So makes us pay $80 and then come clean up the mess? Disgusting. Considering how similar it feels to pipe works, ill just jump on there for 10 mins whenever i need a fix.

the game feels even more unfinished than pipe does, the camera shake is absolutely awful and makes you feel sick, the camera angle is pretty bad as well. spinning and flips are even less realistic than pipe too! I know we all had overly high hopes for this game but i am incredibly sad with how unfinished this game feels.

Can agree about the camera shake, it's unnecessary to have that much but can see what he was tryna do. For some reason PIPE still feels much more free, in Streets you're constantly fighting the controls, like I'm definitely not a fan of the new way to flip, much prefer just to pull back on the stick like PIPE.
I was stoked to try this game I’ve been waiting for it since pipe got released on ps4 lol, but I definitely feel like the learning curve is waaayyy bigger than pipe, everything feels unreasonably difficult imo and I’ve put at least 800 hours into pipe, maybe I’ll get used to it but still it’s not as fun right off the bat as I was hoping, and yeah 55$ for how rough the game still feels is pretty unfortunate

From what I’ve seen in this video, the gameplay looks good. I think there needs to be some tweaking with animation and aesthetic (so the game seems a bit more lively) but I think it is definitely an improvement from the first game. I’d have liked to seen it implemented as an update for the first pipe instead of the price it is, but I think once it gets updated and mash (hopefully) listens to feedback, this game could really be something. I’m gonna buy the game and play it for under 2 hours so I can refund it if my initial impression changes but I’m hopeful.
Yes the game is a little pricey so far I've played 4 hours and have barely left the first skate park or even played online and so far I'm loving it I didn't really play pipe all that much .

A lot of the animation looks hella robotic and janky compared to pipe, as well as some of the physics and the controls feeling less natural...
I feel like if they released this as EA with like 15-20 dollar price tag it would have been better. Also people could have given feedback etc. But AAA price is kind of nuts, gonna hold off until I see the devs update the game. It's no where near ready.. quite buggy and feels more like pipe 3.0 compared to what was promised! I support indie games and developers.. and I support the development of this game but I'm not spending that amount of money until the product is worth that price! Regarding price to everyone: Sure the game might suck idk (it looks buggy) But everyone saying AAA should be more expensive and indie cheaper - think about boutique clothing or art or craft food - smaller independent artists creators makers etc don’t have the capital and equity available to just make things at low cost. The reason when you buy a shirt from your favorite small brand that makes clothes is more money than when you buy something from Zara. Don’t be worried about spending extra on indie. They need it. Again, no defense to the state of the game I just dontttt like this narrative that small artists need to charge cheap.
I refunded after the game froze on me and upon relaunch it didn't allow to press any button on my controller, tried a different controller, but no succes. Other playes have had the same issue with controllers becoming unresponsive. From the 20 minutes i got to play i honestly have to say I didn't really like it all that much. The controls feel clunky and laggy response. Also not really intuitive (but that could be because i don't have enough playtime. I really hate that I feel this way because I really wanted this game to be good. JUST FYI: I'm refunding it for the bug that doesn't allow me to play, i wanted it to not get over 2 hours of gametime for the steam refund. When i read that this is fixed I'll probably buy it again and do a serious attempt of getting good at it, because it is hard.

Put about 30 hrs into this game and STILL cannot get the hang of pumping! Its a mircale im even at lvl 70, and Everytime i get a good pump its a complete fluke! Doing exactly what the tutorial says like what am i doing wrong?

I was so excited for this game and still am but it just doesn’t run on my pc. I get to the title screen press play and it crashes. I know I don’t have the best pc specs but it’s apparently more than capable according to the steam requirements so really sad. How can it run warzone on medium graphics but not even load past the title screen here?

It’s nice to see the game improve since PIPE, it’s just funny how the game feels worse riding street than it does riding transition. Considering the name you’d think he’d prioritise street elements like smooth/better manuals, ability to choose over grind, hang fives etc. I think it’s sick that the transition riding is smooth but it looks like riding street is not as fun in this game. The spins look weird and penciled, and they have weird physics. Why can’t we do sick dipped hop 360’s? Why can’t we have fun with backlashes and g-turns like we used to in PIPE? I’m excited about this game but wish street riding was more polished.
im loving the street riding in this, we have so many more options with the physics based grinding than we did in pipe. i agree manuals need some work but you can do fakie manuals and gturns they are just super tough. I'm sure we will see updates adding tricks like hangfives and what not. hopefully the manuals get better too
Im extremely happy and sprinted through the starting area to look at the rest of the open world. It is so janky, empty, and unfinished. I had such high hopes for this release and way sorely disappointed :( I'm baffled that this isn't being released into early access. Passing this off as a finished title seems very deceiving, especially since the "polished" environment seems to have just about 3 hours of gameplay if you explore, which means you hit your refund limit before seeing how unpolished the rest of the environment is.
Put it this way guys, if you value your time at roughly $1 per hour (reasonable for an entertainment product) than i think 90% of you are getting a pretty incredible deal still. Ill probably clock hundereds of hour in this game, so if mash releases any dlc, ill buy that too

From what I’ve seen in this video, the gameplay looks good. I think there needs to be some tweaking with animation and aesthetic (so the game seems a bit more lively) but I think it is definitely an improvement from the first game. I’d have liked to seen it implemented as an update for the first pipe instead of the price it is, but I think once it gets updated and mash (hopefully) listens to feedback, this game could really be something. I’m gonna buy the game and play it for under 2 hours so I can refund it if my initial impression changes but I’m hopeful.
Yes the game is a little pricey so far I've played 4 hours and have barely left the first skate park or even played online and so far I'm loving it I didn't really play pipe all that much .
The price is a crazy. When you know your game wont sell numbers so you rip off your core player base with a £50 physics sandbox

£45.99 is pretty steep in my opinion for the current state it's in... Feels like a £30 game for sure.
Not sure how Mash managed to make some things worse than they were in pipe... A lot of the animation looks hella robotic and janky compared to pipe, as well as some of the physics and the controls feeling less natural...

I feel like if they released this as EA with like 15-20 dollar price tag it would have been better. Also people could have given feedback etc. But AAA price is kind of nuts, gonna hold off until I see the devs update the game.

It's no where near ready.. quite buggy and feels more like pipe 3.0 compared to what was promised! I support indie games and developers.. and I support the development of this game but I'm not spending that amount of money until the product is worth that price!

Sure the game might suck idk (it looks buggy)
But everyone saying AAA should be more expensive and indie cheaper - think about boutique clothing or art or craft food - smaller independent artists creators makers etc don’t have the capital and equity available to just make things at low cost.
The reason when you buy a shirt from your favorite small brand that makes clothes is more money than when you buy something from Zara.
Don’t be worried about spending extra on indie. They need it.
Again, no defense to the state of the game I just dontttt like this narrative that small artists need to charge cheap.
I refunded after the game froze on me and upon relaunch it didn't allow to press any button on my controller, tried a different controller, but no succes. Other playes have had the same issue with controllers becoming unresponsive. From the 20 minutes i got to play i honestly have to say I didn't really like it all that much. The controls feel clunky and laggy response. Also not really intuitive (but that could be because i don't have enough playtime. I really hate that I feel this way because I really wanted this game to be good. JUST FYI: I'm refunding it for the bug that doesn't allow me to play, i wanted it to not get over 2 hours of gametime for the steam refund. When i read that this is fixed I'll probably buy it again and do a serious attempt of getting good at it, because it is hard.
I bought the game before realizing I needed the graphics card (new to pc). I absolutely love pipe. Wish I could play bmx streets today. Make sure you have the graphics card necessary before purchasing! This game looks so epic !!

Put about 30 hrs into this game and STILL cannot get the hang of pumping! Its a mircale im even at lvl 70, and Everytime i get a good pump its a complete fluke! Doing exactly what the tutorial says like what am i doing wrong?

Game is so frustrating to play. The basic steering/pedaling is so bad that it just felt like a headache. I requested a refund. Very sad that he messed up the physics this bad. I wonder if you gave him any feedback on that kind of stuff and if he just ignored it?
I was so excited for this game and still am but it just doesn’t run on my pc. I get to the title screen press play and it crashes. I know I don’t have the best pc specs but it’s apparently more than capable according to the steam requirements so really sad. How can it run warzone on medium graphics but not even load past the title screen here?
Played for only an hour and couldnt get over that unbearable camera shake at high speeds. Literally made me get motion sickness. I refunded and saw that they dropped the price. If there was an option to turn off the camera shake, i'd buy it once more

It’s nice to see the game improve since PIPE, it’s just funny how the game feels worse riding street than it does riding transition. Considering the name you’d think he’d prioritise street elements like smooth/better manuals, ability to choose over grind, hang fives etc.
I think it’s sick that the transition riding is smooth but it looks like riding street is not as fun in this game. The spins look weird and penciled, and they have weird physics. Why can’t we do sick dipped hop 360’s? Why can’t we have fun with backlashes and g-turns like we used to in PIPE?

im loving the street riding in this, we have so many more options with the physics based grinding than we did in pipe. i agree manuals need some work but you can do fakie manuals and gturns they are just super tough. I'm sure we will see updates adding tricks like hangfives and what not. hopefully the manuals get better too

Im extremely happy and sprinted through the starting area to look at the rest of the open world. It is so janky, empty, and unfinished. I had such high hopes for this release and way sorely disappointed :( I'm baffled that this isn't being released into early access. Passing this off as a finished title seems very deceiving, especially since the "polished" environment seems to have just about 3 hours of gameplay if you explore, which means you hit your refund limit before seeing how unpolished the rest of the environment is.
