Sorry to disagree. Recently I watched "The Thomas Crown Affair" on Turner Classic Movies. I hadn't seen it in many decades. I was struck by how dumb this movie really is. The plot, the screenplay and the direction by Norman Jewison are all lame and totally mediocre. The performances by Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway are a textbook of bad acting. The only reason it got made was because McQueen and Dunaway were big ticket stars back then, but all these years later this has to be one the dumbest movies of all time.
