This was so well made. You are getting extremely good at this editing business. Im surprised you still havent hired an editor. The fake ending totally had me, I had to check, I was like "Is that 15 minutes gone already???" lol. Well played Philip.
That last moment with poor rufus. I remember in a massive battle between byzantine and venician soldiers crusade expansion. One of my generals units was down to himself and another of the enemy only had himself left both of them bloodied from a long battle both had claimed many lives through their skill in arms. My general charged through the field as the enemy done the same when they met all hell broke loose as they battled the tide had been turned the battle was in its ending stages and fully isolated from any friendly or enemy unit they fought on and on in the end my general was the Victor slaying the exhausted enemy leader and with that the battle had concluded. My most epic total war moment
This reminded me of some hilarious situations playing Medieval 2 as a kid over 10 years ago. Both times playing as England in campaign vs France. The first time I had a 2 unit reinforcement army ambushed by the enemy French King with roughly 20 units. Luckily I had time to deploy my 2 yeoman archers. Both units planted stakes in the ground, and the French King charged ahead of all of his forces head first onto the stakes, killing himself immediately. I proceeded to use fire arrows and routed the entire army. I lost only a handful of archers and all of the enemy units ran away with the enemy King dying. The second time this happened with 2 trebuchets, whereby a potshot killed the enemy French general, once again routing the entire enemy army, this time losing no soldiers at all. Awesome game. Make sure to put the graphics setting on very low though!

Now I could focus on uniting England
*So let’s go for Wales*
You're the only channel I'll watch every video even if I give exactly zero fucks about the game the video is about
3:40 that is in Flanders, Belgium...
You make so good videos it's not even fair for other creators. I subbed immidiately after seeing one video. Awesome job! Cant wait for more Total War series
fortnite vs csgo i love you philip lol 5:00
This is one of my favourite games of all time. I've spent thousands of hours in it.
The game crashes sometimes after battles (and sometimes after end turn), but that's like after 1 of 50 battles. Nowhere near as often as it appears to crash for you.
"the brown mile" poor rufus.. xD
I love the rhymes and twists, this is really well put together! I would love to see more
I would have to rethink my negotiation strategy
“We shall slaughter them!”
This is the equivalent of reading an engaging book that keeps closing itself abruptly, and the reader has to manually get back to the page and paragraph he was was on since he didn't have time to put in a bookmark, and when he finally does, the cycle repeats minutes later.
Neither Rome or Medieval 2 had ever crashed on my pc, I think it is your OS fault.... anyway just move to Rome II and defeat france or at least the gallic factions which are quite a few.
What about Empire and Napoleon?
every116 People actually play those ones??
Of course, they're both really good
Yes, you're right. I forgot those since I haven't played them and I hope he doesn´t have crashes or issues. It will take a while for him to reach Rome II because it's the latest game but still I'm expecting to see it soon.
What is this ''Rome 2'' you speak of? making it sound like there was a sequal to the excellent Rome 1, no way they'd make a sequal that just shits on the original, never, doesnt exist
I could never get into the Total War series as much as I wanted to. Thanks for making this series of awesome videos so I can experience the crashing glory that is Total War! The ending to this one got me grinning for 10 seconds straight 'cause I knew it was coming and it was so good.
May France get squashed like the frogs they eat!
I played this game to death and never got many crashes.
Yo you made this so much fun with the little script. William and Rufus are an inspiration to us all!
RIP barbarian invasion
That's one way to make strategy game entertaining to watch, nice job dude.
6:23 you had the perfect opportunity to say “gay”
wow this made me laugh so hard. since i have it on steam it never crashes, but all the sarcasm at the end was killing me. good job mate
A length of 14:53, i cant even be mad
Brilliant presentation and highly entertaining. Also, you have the most absolutely perfect voice for this.
F in the chat for Rufus
"I set my sight to England, starting with Wales"
Wales is officially part of England, confirmed by an English person.
A R T I L L E R Y O N L Y
Oh no.The plague has spread here.
This was so well made.
You are getting extremely good at this editing business. Im surprised you still havent hired an editor.
The fake ending totally had me, I had to check, I was like "Is that 15 minutes gone already???" lol.
Well played Philip.
Stop playing it on Windows 10.....Windows 7 would fix the crashes for you.....It's Microsoft's fault! xd
I love total war. This brings back so many memories.
artillery only
Bannerlord when?
matthew minchillo yes, artillery only
Of course, Bannerlord when?
My first and favorite game in the series! Thank you 3klik
Do artillery only
A series of mount and blade warband with this editing style would make me tear up with happiness
So happy you’re continuing this :)
Another awesome video to add to my new favourite RUclips series
Why did you stop this series it was really great plz come back to it:(
I love this type of story based overview of campaigns!!! MOAR!!!
