Yes, that was “Paint it Black” at the start of the song. Not sure if you got the background of this performance from the folks requesting it but this was referred to as “SARSstock”, a benefit concert in July 2003 after the SARS epidemic (COVID is basically SARS 2), headlined by The Stones and with lots of other bands. Great reaction to the energy and joy of the band!

Same Rush experience for me. Somehow I missed them for the last 50 years. I was 71 when I began listening to Rush just 2 years ago, and it was their interviews, their RNRHOF speeches, and a couple of documentaries on RUclips that drew me in. And then, the live music!
What you're experiencing is likely the three best friends who ever made music. They had the ultimate respect and love for each other and because of that, they ALWAYS had fun! Sadly, we can no longer experience it live, but oh, when we could! Neil would never go up front for a bow, but ran off stage, as they show, while Geddy and Alex said goodbye to the crowd. At the very last show they ever did, he came up front for his final goodbyes ever. There is video of it, he surprised Geddy and Alex by tapping them on the shoulders and all three took a bow together before he zipped off as usual. I seriously have so much fun watching you watch them and reliving my love for them. I'm gonna say it again ... XANADU from Exit Stage Left. Best live performance EVER!
Jealous. I finally go to see them a few shows before the end if the R40 tour. And I am beyond glad that I did. An experience I will always treasure. One of the VERY few as good or better live.
I got hooked on Rush back in 1981 when I was 11 years old. Moving Pictures had just come out and Tom Sawyer was on the radio all the time. Been a fan ever since. In fact, they are my favorite rock band of all time. RIP, Pratt, and best wishes to Dirk and Lerxst. Thanks to you gents for providing a huge part of the soundtrack to my youth.
me too my first RUSH concert was 1981 Moving Pictures i bought all their records & learned all their songs for 2 weeks before the concert $9.50 in the greys MLG
Even though you have now seen and heard Spirit of Radio live. I'd recommend the Rush animated video version of this song. I believe that it was released in 2020. It's done to the studio version (from 1980) so it can be viewed as a comparison to this one. You really can't go wrong with either version. The vibe of that concert performance was special.

I dunno, I mean... everybody suggests that reactors go straight to what may be the greatest live musical performance in human history, but... maybe let her check out a bunch of other stuff first, and leave Xanadu for a special occasion? I mean, it's not like there aren't a couple hundred (literally) more cuts available for her to review from Rush first. :) She hasn't even done Tom Sawyer yet, ferchrissake!
More Rush for sure. I’ve been a Rush fan since 1976. You’re got over 40 years of amazing music to catch up on. Limelight, Freewill and Closer To The Heart are some more tunes to check out.
I've been to a good number of RUSH concerts. They are the only concerts where the audience knows all the words and drowns out Geddy Lee. I've very happy that the next generation are loving the band as I have.
You are exactly right about the joy in this video! For a future reaction, I suggest the live version of 'Freewill' from the Snakes and Arrows tour. Anything live from Rush is basically mind-blowing!
That was one of the best reactions I've ever seen!!!❤🥰😍 More Rush: Tom Sawyer, Freewill, Limelight, Subdivisions, Red Barchetta, YYZ, 2112, Closer To The Heart, Fly By Night
Love your enthusiasm to my favorite band of all time, they are so great in concert it's sad it can never be again, but I spent most of my life waiting for "the next tour" eagerly, from my first show when I was 18 as a birthday present from my parents, to the last 2 tours with my own wife and child in my lat 40s to share an experience I'd gotten to enjoy throughout my life (fell in love with Rush in roughly 3rd grade, when Moving Pictures came out and my older friends (lived in a tiny country town) started playing it and I was hooked immediately.
Rush is my favorite band of all time. I recognized you from The Warning reactions. (My favorite newer band) Rush are the reason I play music. I could only ever hope to be a fraction of a musician of either of these three. YYZ in Rio is probably one of the most epic moments I've ever witnessed from a concert. Brazil brings energy unlike anyone I've ever witnessed. Alex plays a PRS guitar here which, are my personal favorite. (I prefer him on Gibson guitars though) I grew up 30 mins from the PRS factory. So I have an obligation to love seeing famous bands playing them haha.(Dany Villarreal plays one often too) On the topic of the ending, I also feel bad for anyone that had to follow Rush AFTER they played. Though I know AC/DC did well. Somehow I wasn't subscribed. I've since corrected that error.😅Take care!
It makes me smile seeing a much younger generation discovering and appreciating RUSH. It's a long and deep rabbit hole with many twists and turns as the band kept experimenting, changing, developing. Anyone who has the heart to go down the hole will be rewarded many times over as all of us who where there from the beginning can attest to.
I'm not THAT old but it never ceases to amaze me the surprise classic bands sparks in young people. That's right, RedHead: back then you had to START with big energy. No band, I mean, not a single band from then met succsess by being stale and cold up there, not even darker bands like The Cure. I'm so glad young people appreciate the value of *moving* music.
Its truly wonderful to see the Joy on your face , you are now a Rush fan for sure. I am now 57 and since I was 13 hearing 2112 I have Loved them as the Worlds greatest band. You have a lot more to find in the rabbit hole. Enjoy a Dinner with Rush . They are such good friends.
First time I've seen your channel, my 1st time seeing RUSH was at my high school, May 19 1974, their second last small venue performance. This concert was SARS fest in toronto, held during the peak of the SARS epidemic in 2003. Can you just imagine, 250,000 people saying phuck you covid and having a blast. Ive seen RUSH 22 times in my life. Gratefully I witnessed the beginning, sadly I watched the end. R.I.P. Neil Peart and thank you. I hope you and John wherever you are can say look what we did banging skins together.
First time I've seen one of your videos and nothing in the world makes me happier than sharing the joy of Rush. You just gave me the biggest smile I've had in quite some time. Been a fan for 40+ years and was lucky enough to see them 20+ times in concert. My 30 seconds of meeting Geddy and thanking him for the music during his Big Book of Bass signing tour was a moment I had looked forward to since I was a kid. Be sure to watch them perform YYZ live in Rio. You'll never see another audience actually singing along to an instrumental song.
Ok, this one is MASSIVE. One of their most famous live performances. It’s the song YYZ from RUSH in RIO. They had never toured South America and those hardcore Rock fans had been literally waiting their whole lives to see the band they thought they might never see in their country. It’s bananas and they impressed the band! It’s truly very cool for us lifelong fans to see because we can really relate to the live concert experience. RUSH Night was always very special. I grew up with them from the beginning and they played my city on almost every single tour. That’s how I got to see them live on 18 different tours over the decades. I case you’re wondering, San Antonio, TEXAS a day one RUSH stronghold that the band loved. They said it many times that they liked the city and not just the fans. We were one of the very first places in North America to play them on the radio in the beginning and the band never forgot that day one loyalty. It was a SCENE! I’ve got stories for days. 😆👍
The "Paint It Black" intro was done because this video is from the Concert for Canada SARS benefit in around 2007. It was a multi-headlining show, but the Rolling Stones were the main attraction. Rush nearly wasn't involved but felt they more or less had to do it. I think they had just come off of a tour and were in more or less shut-down mode for a break. They had to fire the whole machine up for a 4 song set in front of like 400,000 people.
This actually came up for me in my search for Aurora reactions, but I love Rush too, and this is one of my favorite songs by them. Not sure I have a favorite version, but the music video is crazy good, as is the version they did for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, when they were inducted. (This is also a great version too, of course.) But speaking of Aurora, you should check out her newest song, "A Soul with No King - Remix" - a precursor to her new album out on June 7th!
I've seen them over 20 times. They always seem to have fun and giving it their all. You should check out Rush in Rio. The crowd of 60+k makes it special as well. To hear a crowd sing to an instrumental ((YYZ) is wild. I say anything from Rush in Rio is fine, but Earthshine, Ghost Rider, One Little Victory, and of course YYZ are awesome! Enjoyed the reaction 😁 Take care ✌️
First time viewing your channel - Love it! I have been a Rush fan and a student of Rush (John Rutsey/Neil Peart RIP to both) since the beginning - I walked by their practice way back in 73' while in Canada as a young teen... My all time Fav. band from that day... Fav album is Caress of Steel.. Good job on your reactions. I will sub to you! Much Love... ☮☮💖💖☯☯🎵🎵🎶🎶♾♾
Hey Red! Great to see you react to this, my favorite Rush song! I’d originally come to your channel for The Warning and one of the reasons I love that band is because they are a three-piece. Because each player is so important to the collective sound. I’d fallen in love with Rush 40 years ago for that same exact reason (and of course the most awesome music)! Just love a trio because you can just feel how each member adds to and drives each song. Love your excitement and enthusiasm as always. That was fun!
From a Gary to Geddy your one of the most talented musician of all time! No one touches your talent on bass, keyboards, and singing! You are the definition of Unique and RUSH is not RUSH without your playing and vocals! To quote the movie: I LOVE YOU MAN! Alex and Neil as well!! This is my essay to people who may not know RUSH or who Neil was professionally and his contributions to the art of drumming and lyrical writing! Enjoy! RUSH is THE PERFECT EXAMPLE of the fluidity of MASTERING TIME SIGNATURES! I play drums and there are a few things that you need to know about Neil Peart’s ( pronounced PEER-T) character: First he writes the lyrics so he knows in advance what TYPE of song it’s meant to be ie ballad, driver, etc. Second he COMPOSES on the drums… like a carpenter who looks at a set of blueprints before building the object. Neil lays out a SKETCH in his mind of the VOICES of the drumset and builds the song from there. He is also a great LISTENER knowing when NOT to step over Geddy’s singing or Alex’s solos! Finally, he had perfect timing and fluidity of time changes. He said himself that it’s not about COUNTING the time signatures as much as fluid motion to change the tempo without counting: in other words it should FLOW! He hates repeating the same drum patterns in the same song meaning if he plays a fill one way the first time around he will play it differently the second time around. IE. Rolls down the toms the first time around and triplets or quads (all four limbs) the second time around. In short there will NEVER be another like him on planet earth 🌍 🌏 🌎! REST IN PEACE PROFESSOR! With heart felt admiration and sincerity! Gary Geddy Lee - Bass guitars, Oberheim polyphonic; OB-X; Mini-Moog; and Taurus pedal Synthesizers, vocals Alex Lifeson - Six and twelve string electric and acoustic guitars, Taurus Pedals Neil Peart - Drums kit, timbales, gong bass drums, orchestra bells, glockenspiel, wind chimes, bell tree, tubular bells, crotales, cowbells, plywood, wood blocks, triangles, tympani, and Gong! Alex Lifeson: RUSH guitarist and Guru Extraordinaire! The HEART ❤️ AND SOUL OF RUSH! THE FUNNIEST MAN ON THE PLANET AND GREATEST SPEECH GIVER OF ALL TIME!!! ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME: BLAH…BLAH…BLAH! HATS 🎩 OFF TO ALEX LIFESON 😎😎😎👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎸🎸🎸 We lost Neil Peart on January 7th 2020 to brain cancer! Geddy Lee called him: THE PROFESSOR because he had a verbal and musical vocabulary that I would put against anyone including Beethoven and Albert Einstein all this from a guy who didn’t graduate high school! Not only was he the drummer-percussionist of RUSH but he also wrote the Lyrics! RIP PROFESSOR
If they had an accurate map of the world maybe they'd have found Australia and Africa on their numerous "world" tours but alas.... still the greatest band ever that I just had no hope of ever seeing live.
Been enjoying RUSH since the mid 70's...when Working Man was released ('74). I had all of their albums up to and including Grace Under Pressure ('84) and saw them live a few times. So I'm here to watch you enjoy some RUSH. If you'll take another request...try RUSH - 2112 Side One (the animated story-video): all seven parts. Alex and Geddy, the two on strings, have been together since 1968 at age 15 or so. So yeah, they got some stage chemistry and always appear to be enjoying themselves.
Thanks for checking them out again 😊 You should do a deep dive into that concert/festival. Not only the bands, but the story behind it...why it was created, and by whom.. and why Canada will always be grateful for it.
4:53 Gahd ........I miss him so. Thank you Neil for adding to my drumming style back in the club band days. This song and Tom Sawyer opened up set 2 and 3 back in 1982 New England clubs. My other insparations were Buddy Rich and John Bonham.
I absolutely adore your reactions to Rush. You feel their music as I feel their music. Your enthusiasm makes me smile (Every time). Hi Red! Love your reactions!!! Your next Rush reaction should be YYZ Live in Rio. It's my all time favorite live performance. The crowd was massive, and so into the band that they were singing along...to an instrumental 😂
The Rolling Stones lent their big show expertise to help with this festival and were one of the headliners. Charlie Watt introduced himself to Neil just before Rush went on stage and was watching from backstage, along with members of AC/DC and a few other Rush fans. The organizers issued 480,000 tickets but no one is actually certain how many people showed up at the old Downsview Airport that day. In my office, 12 of the 30 employees drove down from Ottawa to Toronto for the day, which was a Wednesday, and didn't get back home until between 3 and 4 am. Only one of them showed up at work on Thursday, because she had to make a presentation that afternoon.
Lots more Rush, please 😁 This rabbit hole is immense full of all kinds of twists and turns, all dripping with greatness!! Always pay attention to the lyrics because there's always something profound being conveyed.
RHN! So glad you were delighted with the SARS concert-version of Spirit of Radio! Excellent tune! Hey, I heard you commenting on how much fun they are having on stage and how much chemistry they have together. It's reminding me that I recommended a live video of Rush, from 1981, which will make you laugh and gawk at how incredible -- and funny -- they are! Please remember to do the live medley of "By Tor and the Snow Dog/In The End/In The Mood/Grande Finale"! They have so much fun doing that song and they goof around and try to crack the audience up! You will love it! Check it out, sweet lady!
One of my favorites ever since the first time I heard it as a kid back in ‘80! I definitely agree that their music is made better because of the people making it, they’re just great dudes. And absolutely enjoyed your reaction to the live performance - thanks for sharing with us!!!

You don't know how wonderful it is to see a lady of your beauty and glowing love for Rush is to see. I lost it when you jumped around fulling understanding what it takes to make music at this level. The joy in your smile and hearing Rush made my day!
Rush were one of the best rock trios ever. Every video I've seen does look like they're having a good time. Your reaction was also joyful, great to watch. A tangent related to "Paint It Black". My favorite cover of it was done by the Lovell sisters of Larkin Poe. It's just the 2 of them sitting in a bedroom and performing it into a cell phone, but they absolutely smash it. If you aren't familiar with Larkin Poe, they are a roots rock band comprised of Rebecca and Megan Lovell, and add a bass and drums when playing live. They are unsigned (they are on their own Tricky Woo Record label), but it hasn't kept them from opening for Bob Seger, Queen, ZZ Top, etc..., performing and recording with Steven Tyler, T None Burnett, Elvis Costello, Melissa Ethridge, etc... They won a Grammy last year for their album "Blood Harmony". And they also are an absolute joy in concert. They make everyone feel at home and welcome. If you want to check them out, anything from their RUclips cover channel is great, any of them. Of there originals, "Blood Harmony", "Self-Made Man", or their most often reacted to tune "Mad As a Hatter". Of the latter, the version at The Convent Club is the usual one to react to, but I prefer the one with the chamber orchestra Nu Deco Ensemble.
Wow, watching you literally bounce up and down with excitement! Wonderful: you are just like me.....only not an old man 🤣. Everything you said was spot on: the skill, the precision, the friendship, the fun. Just cannot be beaten.
You are adorable. You are delightful. I love you, don’t take that the wrong way :) But to see someone become such a huge RUSH fan and your reactions and … how you *get it*. Yes, we know :) It’s wonderful that RUSH will be timeless.
Love your Rush reactions! Going to second Xanadu from the Exit Stage Left tour, 1981. Also, so many others to do: 2112 for sure (but that'll be a long video), Red Barchetta, La Villa Strangiato, Freewill, Natural Science, The Camera Eye, Limelight, Subdivisions.
I love how giddy you got during this reaction, and I get giddy watching people get excited by the music that has affected me that same way since I discovered them in 1981. Looking forward to more of your Rush reactions as well as other groups.
3 guys. Lead singer playing bass. Drummer with a kit that is huge! Neil Peart and the rest of the band were avid readers, with the challenge to read the most books during their tour. Very proud Canadians who we were honoured to have represent us to the world.
With 20 something albums, there's a lot to choose from. Tom Sawyer, Freewill, Xanadu, Natural Science, Limelight, the entire saga of 2112, Vital Signs and A Farewell to Kings, are all lofty standards that come to mind easily. But there's so many more epic tracks that these geniuses have manifested over the 45 years they've contributed to the archives of music for our civilization. We are so lucky to have had them! I'm subscribing to your channel because your energy regarding them is absolutely precious. I feel the same way and it's so reassuring to see people of a younger generation than mine be so moved by these guys. Keep on keeping on! And thank you for sharing your love of this incredible band!
I love watching faces of a younger generation light up when they are getting hooked on RUSH! My eyes must have had the same type of expression in the 70's and listening to 2112 for the first time, ill never forget that feeling of possibly hearing the greatest musicians on the planet and those Neil Peart fills that had everyone who heard it become an air drummer! RIP Neil Peart, RUSH was incredible!!!!!!!!
Having seen Rush preforming live over 35 times. I can tell you the energy and guys having fun is/was very real. I never saw a Rush concert where I felt they were just trying to get through it. There is no equal to Rush. None. Some bands come close but none have the magic that this trio had.

I felt the same joy every time I came back from a Rush concert, pure joy and happy to be alive!!!
Rush was the ONLY band I'd pay to see live and I was lucky enough to have seen them live over a dozen times.
Jealous. I finally go to see them a few shows before the end if the R40 tour. And I am beyond glad that I did. An experience I will always treasure. One of the VERY few as good or better live.
She gets it.
Appreciate your sweet reaction! I was in High School when Permanent Waves Album came out. We were Blessed.
Love your enthusiasm ...you are definitely going down the Rush rabbit hole and oh what a beautiful journey awaits you 😘
What a great song and a terrific post! JOY + PRECISION. Yes. Wait, I mean RUSH!!!
Every time I hear this I get those goosebumps! It’s uncontrollable.
Thanks you so much for yo I r shining smile
How are you, my friend?
Thank you!

High School memories listening to this. One of my favorite Rush songs. Great reaction.
Best Rush reaction ever!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Great reaction! I recommend you react to Xanadu Live from Exit Stage Left 1981. It’s over the top!
She hasn't even done Tom Sawyer yet, ferchrissake!
nope..oringinal studio cut of xanadu only...
More Rush for sure. I’ve been a Rush fan since 1976. You’re got over 40 years of amazing music to catch up on. Limelight, Freewill and Closer To The Heart are some more tunes to check out.
Natural Science, Jacob ladder and an old one, Lakeside Park. Sorry we all could compile a massive list for her.
Don't forget La Villa Strangiato!
Thank you so much!
You're very welcome & you're very lovely!😍🥰😍🥰
@@josbogers the classical intro AND the electric.
@@redheadedneighbor this was so good. i tend to think original studio recordings for the best sound esp for the first spin. not always though.
Non-stop energy from RUSH and the "redheadedneibor! 🧨🧨⚡⚡🎉🎉
So I have an obligation to love seeing famous bands playing them haha.(Dany Villarreal plays one often too)
On the topic of the ending, I also feel bad for anyone that had to follow Rush AFTER they played.
What?...... Another wonderful reaction?! The pure expression of joy on your face once again.... kills me every time. I love it! Keep 'em coming....
Been listening to these guys since '74 and their synchronicity still blows me away.
Living in Michigan, you had the opportunity to see Rush often. I've seen them a half dozen times and the crushed every time!
"Paint it Black" yes
Nice hair today! Carry on! Glad you've been having so much fun.
Thank you!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
First time I've seen one of your videos and nothing in the world makes me happier than sharing the joy of Rush.
RUSH IS PURE JOY!!
So glad to see another RUSH sister being born!!
Been hooked on them since 1975!!
🤘🎶💜
The "Paint It Black" intro was done because this video is from the Concert for Canada SARS benefit in around 2007. It was a multi-headlining show, but the Rolling Stones were the main attraction. Rush nearly wasn't involved but felt they more or less had to do it. I think they had just come off of a tour and were in more or less shut-down mode for a break. They had to fire the whole machine up for a 4 song set in front of like 400,000 people.
I was at the show, 2003 I think? It was a great day for music, all the bands rocked and Rush was a highlight for sure.
This actually came up for me in my search for Aurora reactions, but I love Rush too, and this is one of my favorite songs by them. Not sure I have a favorite version, but the music video is crazy good, as is the version they did for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, when they were inducted. (This is also a great version too, of course.)
But speaking of Aurora, you should check out her newest song, "A Soul with No King - Remix" - a precursor to her new album out on June 7th!
Enjoyed the reaction 😁
Take care ✌️
The absolute JOY you felt from that is why I love listening to music, as well as the the reason I love to play for people. 😍🤩🥁🔥🤘🏽

Best percussionist, best lyricist, best guitarist, best bassist...to ever walk the planet. Plus, they multitask. #TheyDoLaundry 😁

Congratulatios, I undertand your joy and happiness, I'm a Rush fan since 1981, from Brasil. Hughs!!!
Thank you! That’s so good to hear
@@redheadedneighbor hey, you did all the work; we just get to enjoy it! 🤘
You have just shown me the absolute best reaction I've seen!!!
Check out Reds' other Rush reactions now and let us know if your opinion changes .
Outstanding reaction. I’ve never seen you so excited! Nice to see we have a REAL RUSH FAN here!
Gary
Geddy Lee - Bass guitars, Oberheim polyphonic; OB-X; Mini-Moog; and Taurus pedal Synthesizers, vocals
Alex Lifeson - Six and twelve string electric and acoustic guitars, Taurus Pedals
Neil Peart - Drums kit, timbales, gong bass drums, orchestra bells, glockenspiel, wind chimes, bell tree, tubular bells, crotales, cowbells, plywood, wood blocks, triangles, tympani, and Gong!
HATS 🎩 OFF TO ALEX LIFESON 😎😎😎👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎸🎸🎸
We lost Neil Peart on January 7th 2020 to brain cancer!
There is nothing like a Rush concert. Feel bad for people who didn't get a chance to see them. ❤
And then there's me: I've met Geddy Lee twice. Had a photo taken with him and me. Autographs, etc. But I never got to see Rush live. WT-actual-F???
If they had an accurate map of the world maybe they'd have found Australia and Africa on their numerous "world" tours but alas.... still the greatest band ever that I just had no hope of ever seeing live.
@@bostonwhofan I got NEIL PEARTS autograph,& got to see them live 21 times, Life's was good😁
I did not and I’m shameful about that. It was my era.
Alex doin it, Rush, the biggest part of my music life. No wonder you loved it redheadedneighbor, they are it. Thankyou for your love of great music.
More Rush!!!
Check out "YYZ" live in Rio. An instrumental...the Rio crowd goes nuts and SINGS along!
Great pick. The crowd at that show was really wound up!
Check out Rush YYZ Live in Rio! ...and The Garden live with the Clockwork Angels tour
I'd say wait for the garden until you are an absolute fan, the emotion is a huge part of it
The Garden live is outstanding!! Brings tears to my eyes every time, more so since Neil passed. No greater band than these three best friends!
Great reaction, Red! Glad to hear that you and Rush have buried the hatchet 😄.
Thanks for checking them out again 😊
You should do a deep dive into that concert/festival. Not only the bands, but the story behind it...why it was created, and by whom.. and why Canada will always be grateful for it.
2112 was my first rush album when it came out

Gahd ........I miss him so.
As you continue to delve into their music and words, they will undoubtedly have a special place in your heart. Seeing your reactions of hearing and seeing Rush's magic for the first time makes me envious. I too remember how I felt when I heard these songs all those years ago. Keep the Rush reactions videos coming. Enjoy the ride ... -Gary-
Sincerely, I thank you for the encouragement. This music is life giving!
All right my lovely lady... I really needed this pick me up. This is my first time viewing your channel. Although I've seen this band, your joyful attitude and expression... I just fell like with you. What a fantastic reaction ‼️💯🔥🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Greatest Band in the Galaxy!!
I've been a fan and admirer of Rush since the 80s and they almost literally feel like family to me. I've lost count of how many times I've seen them over the years, and I was lucky to have seen them on their last tour. I always enjoying seeing younger people experience and appreciate their music. Cheers!
For another comedic interlude, be sure to see Dinner With Rush: three longtime friends and bandmates, several bottles of wine, what could possibly happen?
😂😂😂
I second this!!
It's good to see you've been enlightened.
Blessed to have seen these guys over 10 times live and yeah, that energy... so contagious... always a great time at a Rush show!

1st time seeing them live, top tier musicians 👌🏼 wow!
Hi Red! Love your reactions!!! Your next Rush reaction should be YYZ Live in Rio. It's my all time favorite live performance. The crowd was massive, and so into the band that they were singing along...to an instrumental 😂
Great! I second this suggestion 👍🏻
Saw them live on two occasions. Changed my life both times. ❤
Love the joy you're having from this!
[Edited to note: And I said this before getting to 6:54, where you talk about _their_ joy! I was seeing _your_ joy!]
Quick little bit of easy-to-remedy constructive feedback, though: the link in your description goes to a different Rush live performance, of a different song! Might want to update that, for those of us who look and sometimes click. :)
Awesome reaction as usual!! A suggestion would be "Rush - Natural Science (Live at the Molson Amphitheater 1997) [Remastered in HD] (downloaded by Music Master)
One of my favorite songs EVER!!!!!!!!!! Love your channel.
Their home town. Could you imagine being nerds and outcasts in high school, and then flashing forward to this?
Wow, watching you literally bounce up and down with excitement! Wonderful: you are just like me.....only not an old man 🤣.
Everything you said was spot on: the skill, the precision, the friendship, the fun. Just cannot be beaten.
You are adorable. You are delightful. I love you, don’t take that the wrong way :) But to see someone become such a huge RUSH fan and your reactions and … how you *get it*. Yes, we know :) It’s wonderful that RUSH will be timeless.
The three virtuosos on top of their game ! Wish I could have been there !
Awesome reaction! They certainly do not disappoint. Red Barchetta is an amazing song with a captivating story. Good one to check out.
I love how giddy you got during this reaction, and I get giddy watching people get excited by the music that has affected me that same way since I discovered them in 1981. Looking forward to more of your Rush reactions as well as other groups.
Yes PLEASE more RUSH 😁❤🇨🇦

LIMELIGHT Live
Personally I believe they learned from opening for KISS . That the band is there to give the people a performance worthy of the time and money the spent.
