- Hey everyone, in this video, I discuss what I believe are the most intense roller coasters located at Knott's Berry Farm, in order from least intense to most intense. For the purposes of this video, I mostly interpret intensity as having a feeling of sheer speed, considerable positive G forces, or moments that make you feel like you are gonna be ripped apart from the ride. Keep in mind that this list does not reflect my overall opinion of each ride, and that these are also all simply my opinions. I would love to see what you find to be the most intense roller coasters that you have ridden are as well!

Jaguar was surprisingly rough for a family coaster
A week ago a purposely put me knee up the the restraint wouldn’t touch me and it gave me a headache. Always make sure the restraints are on right.

Silver Bullet has aged so well. I remember everyone complaining that it's the tamest and most boring B&M invert when it opened but as time goes on it just seems to pack a better punch every year.
I love how you rank coasters not only from enjoyment, but also from intensity so new riders can get a feel of what it will be like. The content is amazing man keep it up.

Thank you! :D Yeah I've made a video titled "The Future Of My Channel" about a month ago, and it basically explained that I wasn't enjoying making the old videos that I was making. They took a considerable amount of time and effort to produce, but they were just declining in popularity. Magic Mountain + the rest of the parks' reopenings on top of this upcoming raptor are giving me a new opportunity to try a new style of videos, and I am so far really enjoying it!

Not the most intense ride, but I think Sierra Sidwinder is pretty underrated. Just a fun and unique experience overall, and if the weight is distributed some way on the cars, you can get some crazy spins.
I actually did consider that ride for being #5, as I agree; spinning coasters are overall just very enjoyable experiences!
This! I had gone to knotts one day with 2 friends so 2 of us were on 1 side of the car and the other side was our third friend and in the back car, it was actually pretty nuts and the momentum that built after the spins was crazy

I think I would love xcellerator. I could handle the other two coasters with the extra speed. Full throttle was awesome and had the best air time ever.
I went on Hangtime at the time it had just open and the only thing I found scary was the lift up. Other than that I kept a straight face the entire time, and was not too impressed, I love the color scheme though.
Lucky. Wish I went on it when it was open. It has been closed for all of 2021 so far and from what I hear, it is opening up in December

I definitely agree with you about Ghostrider being overrated. The ground up GCIs are much more intense. Still Ghostrider is one of many of the elite coasters at Knotts.

Hangtime is not more intense than Xcelerator, Silver Bullet and Ghostrider.
Why am I watching this, I’ve never been to knott´s and I’ve been on x2 so I doubt these rides are anymore intense
I think the top 3 are Knott's are overall intense coasters. Some of the coasters I have been on that I consider the most intense are: X2, Top Thrill Dragster, Tatsu (Pretzel Loop), Lightning Rod (Quad Down), Mr Freeze (SL & OT), Maxx Force (Launch), Batman Invert Clones (Been on 7 of them), XCelerator, Flight Deck (CGA), RailBlazer, Wonder Woman (SFFT) and the Voyage. I will also get on I-305, SkyRush, and Kingda Ka over the next 2 months, so I expect those to join the list.
Out of all of those that I have ridden, I also find them super intense! I'll be riding about a hundred new coasters this year, so I can't wait to experience some of these crazy intense coasters out there!
wait apocalypse is better than ghost rider? I felt like ghost rider was so bumpy. is apocalypse bumper or smoother? contemplating going on it since I'm prone to neck pain
It's just my opinion, but it is an unpopular one. Most people prefer ghostrider but I just personally find Apocalypse (and Goldstriker) to be significantly more intense.
Ghost rider is smoother. I have chronic and intense back pain and I can tolerate ghostrider. Apocalypse kills me, so if you’re concerned about that don’t get on it
@@brianasantacruz3921 That I agree with; Ghostrider is a significantly smoother ride. I generally prefer the rougher nature of wooden coasters, but if you back pain, then it is completely understandable to not enjoy rougher wooden coasters.
How’d you get a camera on there..Cedar fair doesn’t allow it correct?
Ghost rider is one of my favorite rides at Knott’s berry farm. I try to do it too times once at the day and again at night if the park isn’t too crowded. I like ghost rider even more after the retracing in 2016.
Have fun waiting in those 3 hour lines for a giant kiddy coaster then 😎

I went to Knotts Berry Farm last Saturday and I see Hang time closed and I check my Google maps said permanent closed and this ride brand new May 2018 BRUH LAMFO!
It's been closed since June of this year because maintenance accidentally set the lift motor on fire so they had to order new parts from Gerstlauer (based in Germany) and they have yet to arrive or be installed. If I were you, I wouldn't rely on Google Maps for reliable information regarding status 🙄

But Knott’s rides don’t break down every 10 minutes, I still love Magic Mountain and it’s my favorite theme park, but Six Flags needs to work on making their rides more reliable.

Does Knott's even have five thrill coasters? Sad that this park doesn't get more love from Cedar Fair. No Hyper/Giga, no Wing/Flyer, a subpar inverted and agree that Hang Time is just blah. However their top two rivals virtually any top 2 out there. So there is that. While parks with similar attendance like Kings Island got a giga Knott's got a rethemed shooting dark ride. Yay. Don't get me wrong I still love Knott's and could and enjoy the other non ride aspects of the park specially during the events throughout the different seasons of the year.
Yeah that's why I couldn't even make this list a top 5. But to be fair, it doesn't really feel like Knott's is designed to be a super extreme thrill park, but rather emphasizes on its theming and immersive experience, something that I find the rest of the Cedar Fair parks to not do as well. They are also extremely landlocked, with 4 public streets bordering them in a small square in the middle of Buena Park. They don't really have room for a hyper/giga/anything that isn't a compact ride, so unless we see a whole strip of rides demolished, I doubt we'll be seeing anything of that magnitude anytime soon.
@@M-NL2 Agree about the landlocked coaster. It would have to be and out and back parking lot coaster type. Only way wo fit in in something bigger. Really wish they would have got a raptor instead of Hang Time as that fits nicely in that spot of land. Can they take out Jaguar and put a raptor in please.

Tbh Monazooma is nowhere near as intense as hangtime, monozooma is not even at the same level as monozooma. Also I think hangtime should be more intense than ghost rider not by much, but yeah

@@M-NL2 locals do because it shit on every other wooden roller coaster in southern california. If apocalypse opened in 1998 it would probably have similar fan fare. But as it is ghostrider consistently lands in the back half of the top 50 american wooden roller coasters. Cant call that overrated. Not to mention all the people its killed, want to talk about a ride trying to destroy you, ghostrider literally does that to some people.
@@jaya1000 I am just being genuinely honest here; most enthusiasts that I talk to rave about this coaster and based on what I've been seeing mostly from the hundreds of enthusiasts on Instagram, it's a highly regarded ride. I personally just don't find it to be super intense, especially when compared to other wooden coasters. Also, I haven't found any reported deaths that were a direct cause from Ghostrider, so I'm pretty sure this ride hasn't actually killed anyone before.

@@jaya1000 Do you have a link to an article/news source/blog or publishing of any kind? I genuinely can't find anything and I feel like a death would be much more publicly known, as roller coaster deaths are extremely rare, and are huge deals because it means something was seriously wrong with the ride, or the ride attendants weren't doing their job carefully enough.
