Bought him during black Friday for $35. You're right that he looks like a $35 figure from the accessories because that's exactly how I felt when he had his original price of $56.
Man they used to put all kinds of effects in the box! I know the $35 figures are meant to get you hooked on the line. Still very happy to finally have Bardock. Ever looked into the KO SHF effect sets? I’ve been tempted a few times. Also, don’t mind me, I’m just catching up on your videos!
I love this figure got mine last year and having him doing a cool pose with his effect in his hand as if he's about to take down an opponent and I'd love if they make a figure of his wife with an extra accessory being his super saiyan hair with an alternative head and maybe a baby goku with her as well 😊 ❤
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Nah. He has a saturated green like the custom you showed in the original Bardock episode, but not in the Super Episode of Bardock or the Broly movie. In both of those, he's Olive, like this figure.

I got mine in 2021 from gamestop they had a power up rewards deal for premium figures at $38.00 so not sure how much he was originally but definitely see the point on being over priced for lack of accessories
Fun fact in terms of other blast effect pieces you could use,if you got yourself a sh monsterarts godzilla or mecha godzilla that had their special atomic breath effects then you can use it as a Kamehameha blast effect for goku,gohan or goten or even goku black
The green is more-so catering towards is dragon ball super appearance, but his model is based off of his z appearance. Its a bit wacky, but i still think its sick 👍

@@NostalgiaUnboxed so i ended up using the clear gloss gundam marker. the border around vegeta's armor made coloring in very easy. the border is very forgiving. even the white pops almost as good as the black on Bardock. i kept the white border and tan areas matte. tested on back panel first, just in case.
I always like the scar and bandana for Gokus dad. What about Turtles, is he his uncle, cousin, half brother, or his father's best friend's, neighbors son?
I don’t mean for this to *at all* come across as being snotty, but Bardock is not a new figure and that can answer some of your questions about him. I remember a time collecting this line when so many of us could only dream of a Bardock. He was originally solicited in June of 2020 and at that time the line wasn’t really in the realm of $35 figures as I guess you could say Bandai was still “recouping” money on molds. Since he’s always been a rerelease rather than an update, that’s why his MSRP has stayed higher. As a Bardock fan, he was and always has been worth that price. 🤣
Bardock's greens aren't that great because they based off of the Episode of Bardock Ova, the one were he turns Super saiyan! You can check for some images and you'll se the reseamblance
