Been watching you since your first shows back in the 80's when the opening credits had you calling your wife to let her know you win the Bassmasters tournament and a million dollars
Sorry to be that guy but bed fishing has had a serious negative impact on the smallmouth. The studies in this show that as soon as you take that fish off the bed the gobies hit the nest and bedding success goes down! It is not the same fishery it once was. This has been well documented and it’s a shame it hasn’t gotten more press. The worst are the weigh in tournaments in which the fish are removed from the bed to be weighed later. At least with catch and immediate release there’s still a chance for some bedding fish to be successful.
