This lecture was riddled with whataboutisms. When we see haram being encouraged in the land of the Muslims it hurts us, staying silent doesnt help the issue. Calling out what is wrong is our duty no matter where we come from or where it is happening. We shouldn't whitewash things. Halloween in Saudi Arabia is wrong, and the authorities are wrong for allowing it and a disservice to the pious people living in Saudi Arabia who hate seeing what their country is turning into. This is the haq and it must be said.
Haqq must be said when there is benefit in it. What is the benefit in sharing that the authorities in Saudi allowed this? I’m not saying we should praise the authorities but there’s no benefit in criticising them in this situation. “Speak good or be quiet”. What’s the good in exposing their sins? If you are able to advise them then this is ur duty; or if ur scared that ppl will be fooled to believe that celebrating halloween is permissible then you should clarify to them. But just criticising the Saudi government to ppl who already know that halloween is haram has no benefit. It just makes people sad and angry and encourages dissent and rebellion against the Muslim rulers. Or to those who already hate Saudi or like criticising Saudis they rejoice in these videos spreading and are happy that it gives them more ammunition to criticise anything coming from Saudi Arabia. Sad reality of our oummah…

The most unfortunate situation we are living in is without the Khilafa which was supposed to unite the Ummah under the banner of Islam. Which purifies Muslim, protects them spiritually and physically. Stops fitna and oppression from the Earth. Put the leash on enemies of Islam and their political evil agendas. May Allah grant us back that mechanism which establishes Allah's Hukum on believers.
Gd lecture of truth. masyaallah. So many mistruths of the religion being spread and everyone thinks they are correct. May we return as much as possible to the Al-quran and Sunnah for guidance.
Alhumdulilah. That was a good lecture. Having said that, you cannot tell a Muslim how to express their feel about something like this. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said when Muslims sees an injustice, the best of the Muslims should change it with his hands. The next action would be to speak out against it. The third option, if the first two are undoable, would be to hate it in your heart..and the third option is the least of Iman. So ppl who are speaking out against it are doing what they can to show their displeasure and outrage, in accordance to the sunnah, regarding a demonic ritual taking place in Saudi Arabia. Aside from the politics of it all, the fact that this is happening just confirms the nearness of the last hour. Prophecy says that the last hour will not come until some of the ppl of that land will become some of the worst to walk the face of the Earth. What we are witnessing is prophecy manifesting itself. I think that should have been mentioned however I understand that the brotha was trying to straddle the fence and not offend certain ppl. Mashallah, May ALLAH (swt) give us all a better understanding.
I think you are missing the point Brother about why people are up in arms about what is happening in recent years in Saudi. It isn't that Muslims think badly of their brethren in Saudi, everyone knows Muslims can behave badly in any Muslim majority country. Muslims pass these pictures round to show what the Saudi government allow, and in some cases facilitate ( pop concerts for example). It is the holy land, where our Prophet S A W and sahabah are buried and the land of the holy Kaaba and pilgrimage. We have a right to be sad and shocked about what is happening in this blessed land. What people are shocked about is that some Muslims protect the Saudi government feverently, while the government allows this fahisha.
Maybe we miskiin living in countries where there is no smell of sharia, maybe we outside we value the government of saudi although they are doing liberalism move unfortunately. But us miskiin we see that the good of saudi government outweigh their bad. Its not the case fir my country senegal where we have kalimat al kufr on TV left right and center. I live in france my dream is to live in saudi. Some saudi will go back to shirk Accordind to the Prophet sallahahu aleyhi wa salam but dajjal will not enter mecca and Medina. There us also a hadith saying that islam will alway find protection between the 2 mosque. Saudi is not perfect and we are in the end of times, but just we have to be balanced and not be too emotional m.
My point is Makka n Medinah is the holy land and most holy than that is the heart and reputation of a muslim So How can we as muslim justify our constant criticism n gossip of Muslims as our gossip can’t be Amr bin Marouf it’s sheer gossip As yes there are many Saudi Arabs who don’t indulge in any haram be in Any part of Saudi But Spreading pictures n making Derogatory. May Allah forgive them but what have you done to assist the Muslim ummah. When you make umrah and it's top luxury then know the government facilitated that. And I know many bros who graduated from their school and have free degrees and learned their religion. Then just donated money for Gambia to rebuild their airport and they give Gambia 100s of thousands of dollars. In the US a HBCU student didn't have a place to pray and a government official from Saudi paid a million to have a masjid built and I can go on. Stop counting their sins and count your own cause that's all gonna matter for you on that day!!!
