The BEST hairspray is Kenra and I've tried ALOT of kinds. From drugstore to beauty store and salons hairspray. Nothing compares to it. Its a little more expensive but it's worth it! I swear by it, it is hurricane proof but it also lets your hair be soft as it holds your hairstyle. I've slept on curls that I sprayed with Kenra and no joke when I woke up my hair looked just as good as the day before. All I did was run my fingers through my hair. Thank you again you made my week!!!
add a shit ton of product. i spray hairspray and a holding spray after i section my hair and before i curl it. then spray hairspray after each curl and after each section. then once your whole head is curled, spray more hairspray. my hair also doesn't like to hold the curl but since i've done this, it stays. alsoooo, if you dont want crunchy hair at the end use a wide-tooth comb to pick through your hair and separate a little but make sure that your hair isn't still wet from the hairspray
i recommend using a straightening iron to curl your hair (just look up a video where it is explained) then after curling a small section clip it up with a clip (i dont know how they are called, but they are small and long metall ones, kind of like alligator clipps) do that to your whole head of hair, let it sit for at least 30 mins and then take the clips out i just brush my hair with a comb instead of a brush after that, to avoid brushing out the curl the curls should stay in the whole day and if you make two small buns or a high pony for sleeping it can even stay till you wash your hair the next time i always do my hair like that, not really using any products except heat protection spray, and it works wonders! def recommend
