After the ejection, Zambrano cleaned out his locker and told clubhouse personnel about retirement from the game (ended up on the DQ'd list and the Cubs eventually jettisoned him to the Marlins in 2012, which would be Zambrano's final year in MLB level competition).

When it's time to renew the contract the MLB needs to make some changes and if the union says no, lock them out. Replacement umps cannot be worse than Angel. MLB MUST break the stranglehold the ump union has, guys like Angel are hurting the product.

There are currently 23 Cubans playing in the MLB which is more than those from Puerto Rico, a Commonwealth of the United States, Mexico, Canada (where they have an MLB team), Japan, etc., Dominican Republic and Venezuela top all foreign countries playing in the MLB, Cuba ranks 4th. That not high enough for you?
