Hi Dr Salman , the text from the BTS guidelines has been mentioned mostly in this video .. there are certain overlapping issues that have been covered in both guidelines …. I have included such flowcharts from ERJ when needed to simplify the understanding and avoid repetition while discussing .

is there any role for antibiotic cycling?

The guidelines discourage regular cycling of long term oral antibiotics and recommend continuation of same drug unless there are exacerbations on same and drug has to be changed as per sensitivity report .
In case of IV antibiotics cycling has been suggested … The evidence and recommendation for both of above is however weak
