Some of the funniest commentary with that first match even before the bricking.
And tbf, I think you could of survive in the last match even if he didn't brick since he had no Calamity in hand and you could take one attack being on 2 damage. The deciding factor would be triggers though with Black Magic that becomes unclear.

First game almost never happens to me either in Premium or Standard, for I have card game tritagonist luck for a good amount of games I play. Is this a bad thing or not?

Can you try Dark Irregulars against Dragonic Overlord The Clan, as in my tests it can recover after overlord swings
Great match guys. Also in my opinion had your hand not have been so terrible it really wouldnt have been a contest because in theory between blademasters ability to draw a insane amount of cards and his retire ability you can easily say that you would have won. But Dragonic Overlord the X Isn't that far from being on the same level. I'd say you both did really well minus the obvious misplay.
Game 1 was absolutely hilarious. Misplay in game 3. When The X attacked the grade 2 for the 3rd attack it was 33 and not 23 thanks to the heal trigger.

So after all those proxy plays for the set 8 decks, blademaster is one of the decks that never lost a match. Would you guys say blademaster is a really strong contender for the future meta?
Personally i would say he would be a underdog meta... peoples were so overwhelmed by The X that they oftenly overlooked Blademaster

The Top Deck Heroes both tbh I’ve always thought force one with more power would b the go to but I’m just curious is all not to down ur play style I’m still just trying to figure out my own style
For Overlord I believe it’s pretty self explanatory and we have enough examples to show why F2 is the better choice
For BladeMaster i can say it comes down to preference
My mentality for F2 is that if the deck can get good enough power on its own then you need threats

What Decks do you think could survive a going first the x
Any deck that can in a sense filter their hand for maximum defense
We actually thought Genesis Astral for a bit since they had good filter early
OTT is another good contender
And honestly if you see any Sentinals in your hand it might be better to keep them rather then to mulligan them back
Now all that is to survive, what decks can recover after that is even harder

The first game is the reason you shouldn't run the g3 order card in a Blademaster deck

It's not bad but more of a once per game and that's if you didn't use the Dragon Dancer or Berserk considering the cost.
@@TopDeckHeroes I just think it's a bit situational considering the other cards you use for soul blast and it can require a bit of set up as well.

If you see the opportunity to set up and use it it gives good benefits as its a 1 for 3 on top of 4 drive checks
Of course if you use any SB costs and can’t get the Soul back with Gerren or reriding then its just a ditch for BM

Overlord and his support are extremely strong but you do have a chance
What makes the odds of winning extremely small is him in combination with Calamity
A 13k, 23k, 23k is much easier to guard and survive then a 28k, 38k, 38k (not accounted for boosters in both instances)
@@TopDeckHeroes Do you think there will be a restriction on the deck in the future? And if yes, do you think it'll just be choice restriction on Calamity as that would be the easiest.

Or make it to where the X is only active while your opponent is G3
@@TopDeckHeroes At that point you're just playing The End that can't go to zero drive checks. What are your thoughts on a Gift choice restriction as I think that prospect is rather interesting. Since that would make The X be reliant on crit triggers or fall back on Gaias or Striken for the pressure.
