I agree with you. This maybe the case of what we saw out of Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson when they both entered the NFL. Justin blew up in a major way. I really agree with you concerning the now new tandem of Napers and Thomas just like that other duo before them. BT looks awesome and the 4-3, 40 isn’t a joke

Yeah, but those top 3 guys can run magnificent route trees and that’s the one knack I’ve seen / heard on Thomas. I’m sure he could get better at it obviously, but I wouldn’t say he’s as good as Nabers or Harrison Jr..
I’m fine at staying at #17 and taking BTJ as long as we are guaranteed we get him. There is a BIG drop off after BTJ.

Jags need to move up for a bonafide WR1 or stay put and continue to build the DL because our front 7 could be a top 3 unit with one more addition.

Nabers is my 4th to 6th favorite reciever in this draft. I like that hes fast and productive but hes just a tad smaller than what i think we need. Trevor is extremely tall and his balls can sail when hes under pressure. We need that 6'2" plus type of big bodied physical reciever that can go up and get those high balls. I think that will really take us upward. Like Rome Odunze... Id even rather take Brian Thomas Jr. over Nabers just bc of his size...
You'd be giving up WAAAAAAAAY too much to move up for Nabers or Odunze. I feel like the best thing the Jags could do is take care of their two biggest needs in the first two rounds: WR and CB. You can't move up for any of the top 3 receivers because it'll most likely cost them the 2nd round pick on top of everything else it would cost to move that far up. I see a lot of ain't no Nabers, but he's a lot closer than someone from round 3 and onward would be. The more capable a target you could get for Trevor to throw to on his final year, the better.

I’m honestly good with whoever we draft in the first round. That’s been Baalke’s best round. It’s everything after that that worries me. A LB should let be in those top 3 picks but ain’t no telling with Baalke😂😂😂

The difference is that the Jaguars need to find starters at OT and OG for the 2025 season as Robinson and Scherff will most likely be gone. On the defensive line, we are set for the next 2-3 years, so anyone we draft there will be true backups. That’s why I think O-Line is a much higher priority. In terms of needs, we need a starting #1 WR, someone to compete for a starting CB spot right away, starters at OT and OG for the 2025 season and depth at DT and Edge, in that order. IMO, the guy you take with your first pick, has to be an immediate starter. We don’t have the luxury of selecting backups in round 1. Playoff teams with established rosters employ this technique. We are not to that point yet. We are not established at CB and most definitely not at WR. Not by a long shot. We have giant holes on the roster that need to be addressed in order to get to the next level. WR is a huge need. I like our slot receiver (Kirk), but we have nothing else at the position and no depth to speak of. Not only do we need an elite #1 WR, we need to add depth to the position. I believe we gotta double dip at the WR position in the draft. Get one in round 1 and then maybe come back in round 5 and select a slot receiver who could one day be a cheaper alternative to Christian Kirk , but just as good. I really like Luke McCaffrey or Jacob Cowing in that role.
Bruh, on the interior, we could prolly find a guy that can beat out RRH/Davon for some snaps there.
Having Baalke making the decisions. I'll believe it when it happens. Definitely need to move up but not sure because Baalke can cook but without seasoning. If you get what I mean lol. He makes moves but not spicy enough or with no flavor at all. Without moving up high this is highly unreachable. I wish we could.

I’m really hoping we get a receiver to keep TLAW loaded with weapons. As much as I like TLAW he really had some questionable games last year especially that must win Titan game (excluding injuries). And Cj Stroud basically showed him up.

After the press conference today, it sounds like Baalke is going Cornerback first round.
Baalke doesn’t take WRs…..it’s sad but do you really trust him to get the right guy?

I was thinking we could grab a shutdown CB in the first, then trade a few picks to select a big play threat WR in the first as well.
We need to trade up because our GM doesn't know how to draft outside of the first round. Our other draft picks are basically useless until we get a new GM or until Peterson takes over drafting duties.
We didn't resign Calvin Ridley because we didn't wanna give up a 2nd round pick. Moving up to get Nabers is going to cost a lot more than a 2nd rounder. We should stay put and use all of our picks to build this team up. Everyone wants these flashy WR's but then at the end of the season wanna blame the offensive line for everything. My take is take a OT or a CB with the 1st and 2nd round picks. Gotta build your core up before you go to talking about WR's

I wouldn’t sleep on free agency.. let’s never forget that our best ever wideouts were not drafted but free agents… Keenan McCardell and Jimmy Smith with Mark Brunell throwing to them. Trevor needs tow studs. But that 95 free agency was more like a draft from the whole entire NFL. Some guys are waiting to be release to have their own teams and not have to play second fiddle when they are indeed Alpha and are not given a chance to prove themselves

I like Nabers for sure a LOT more than Odunze.... because Odunze just doesn't look like he has the move nor speed to get over top of the defender with some space. I don't like that.

I honestly don’t even think the Chargers take a receiver in round 1. Harbaugh has stated he would build a team in the trenches. I believe they go OT in round 1 and find receivers in the mid rounds.
