Totally agree. I thought about getting a Dumb/Litephone after seeing all the videos on it, but quickly realized it wouldn't be realistic for me. Lyft for emergencies, To-Do Lists, my Banking App, Safeway App for coupons, the camera, etc. are all still things I use weekly, but only when I need them. I did all this a while back, and it's drastically changed my screentime. Turning my phone into a tool rather than a toy made a huge difference. (Also, I know this is about iPhones, but if you have an Android, custom launchers are great if you want to try a minimalist look without getting a new phone.)
This is great! Why get a dumb phone instead of just being smart about using a smartphone? I find keeping only apps I need on my phone helps me to reduce scrolling. PS: I need your free books website. The one I used has been taken down :(
6:25 I have my screen set so it looks more yellow, that way it doesn’t hurt my eyes that much. I wish I could also make it less vibrant but you can only choose one of the filter🥲

yeah I've heard there's a bunch of cool things you can do for Android - seems cool also tbh. And like uber/lyft, applepay, etc are so helpful.
In Android, there is bedtime mode that does a lot of things explained in this video in a single click
