Soo glad I spend my youth at the time when LEGO was still affordable and came with decently sized sets
I have the 60044 police center and honestly I had the most fun with that than any other Lego set I own.
7743 is definitely the most iconic one and the best one from the size/value point. A truck, a quadbike, a building and 4 minifigs with accessories!
7288 is closest to my heart because that was my first Police set ever, got it back in 2011 for Christmas I think. Had a lot of fun with it and the little red car is so cute
Aaaaaaand that's all for me pretty much, all other, newer police sets were just meh,
60044 is still kinda cool actually, but the new stickers are kinda off, I prefer the old design.
I got 7288, then I practically begged for 7743 because of the quadbike. Ah, memories...
60044 this one is so nostalgic for me.

2011-2014: Fits a prison
2017: Fits a bike
2021: Fits a car
2025: Fits a helicopter
2027: Fits a fighter
2030: Fits basically anything

Hand's down the command center from 2008 is the best version of it, it looks nice has 4 minifigs instead of 3 like the other one's and has a lot of cool builds, the others don't hit the same, they either look worse or lacking any detail or just being baron builds, buy the 2008 one.
I agree! The 2008 Mobile Command Centre just hit different. Way more pieces, best design, most minifigs, and best retail value
the 2011 one was my 2nd lego set EVER. and i personally like it a little better than the 2008 one
The 2008 was actually really neat, make the jail cell like the 2014 one and update the figs and its awesome

7743 is my favorite because of the design of it. When I was younger, I could not figure our why the yellow caution barrier was on the trailer when it was detached, but I know it is a barrier, a stand for the trailer, and it is like a hitch lock for it too.

The set 7034 is cool but it doesn't appear in the video.
The 2017 truck has too simple design. Also its trailer feels a bit short.

This is so ridiculous, the prices changed so much! It goes from being $60 in 2014 to $200 in 2019!
That picture at the beginning of all four sets perfectly illustrates how much less Lego you get for your money now compared to how it used to be. It's simple greed. Things don't get more expensive as time goes on. Companies discover new better, cheaper, more efficient ways to produce their products. Plastic, what Legos are made out of, is one the most mass produced things on the planet. It's cheap. I bet it only costs pennies, if even that, to produce each Lego part.
It’s an unwritten rule that any mobile command centre lego city set should retail for $45, and it really bothers me that the 2017 breaks that rule, being more expensive than the others despite having the least amount of pieces

its interesting how every time LEGO releases a police truck set, the truck is smaller. Just compare the 2014 one to the 2008 one.

2014 mobile command centre was still good price it was 30€. It actually even has better value than the 2011 one cause that one was 42€

I have like 99% of all my LEGO at my house, but the 1% is the 2014 MPS at my Grandparents.

Хотя, почему бы и нет. Мотоцикл, машинка, огромный грузовик, три минифигурки и доп аксессуары (и всё это можно было найти за приемлемые деньги) - что ещё нужно было для счастья фанату серии CITY в 2011 году...

I got the one from 2017 but I was always into the 2011 sets and when I bought the one in 2017 I am like 😮 and when I see the older ones I am like 😶 they were soo big before...

The best one for me is the 7288 because it was part of my childhood. The last version is terrible, personally I don’t like the new sticker design and the colour match.
