That’s the first step to falling into the system forever- however long that is. You are no different from anyone else with struggles in life. The idea that YOU are different, other people can have a couple of drinks but not YOU or you’ll “relapse” is a trap. You’ve accepted that if you have a couple of beers on your birthday you automatically hit rock bottom again. You DON’T have to accept that. That’s a scam to keep you in the rehab to jail to rehab system.

Now since you gave me unsolicited advice, here’s some for you: don’t assume people don’t know what they’re talking about, especially on subjects where you yourself know very little to nothing. Alcohol is evil
Not a crutch bruh
I can go on binges but be sober for all weeks I want..dnt crave or need alcohol everyday..but If I wanna start some shit, ima hit the STO.. that's not being a alcoholic, people go threw some stages in their life..mfs can still occasionally have a couple drinks.
Just make sure you have your shit together first, going to work, bills paid and taking care your shit, once that's done drank all you want ......Fk it 🤷🏾♂️

This interviewer, prez? Focuses on the negative just like Shirley and they all get that style more or less from Vlad....that'd the blueprint of his company...
Nah my guy!
Thats what alcoholics usually say 🤔🤷🏾♂️ this guy just seems like he's been lying the whole time. 🙄 like every segment he seems combative with the truth
He's an alcoholic
I think alcohol is a little different than drug addictions though. Like once you shake a crack habit, there’s no doing it again for any reason. But with alcohol a lot of people do drink it to have a little buzz and enjoy themselves in whatever “good time” scenario they’re having. In the past Donell used it to cope with problems. Like he said he drank to escape not have a good time. His song Sergeant Louise speaks on his addiction. Ive spoken to him a few times. He says he’s been sober for years and he has a 2/3 drink limit now. Of course some of those details he doesn’t explain here lol
Also he doesn’t say it here but when he got arrested and almost wrecked his car while drunk driving. 2 of his daughters were in the car. He says he’s been sober ever since. He has a 2/3 drink limit and he doesn’t use alcohol to cope with problems. Donell has been on a spiritual journey since then. You can hear it in his lyrics, his interviews, and his wife definitely played a role in changing him for the better
@@sinematic06 That's good to hear, I suppose some people can have a limit and stick to it
I've had addictions to both crack, coke and alcohol and alcohol is by far the worst both mentally and physically
@@coolinism sorry to hear what you’ve been through. Happy to hear it sounds like it’s behind you. Wishing you continued sobriety and success
Bruh
As an alcoholic myself.... This is 100 percent something an alcoholic would say LMFAO

Yup, I'm a alcoholic too this is one of my lines lol
God sent him his wife when he was ready to receive her…
Donell, you think you have it under control ? you're on a slippery slope bro
