This is an 870 Wingmaster family. Grandad's 870 was the first I used, with a 30" full choke. I've bought....several....and kept every one. Bought one for my son last year. FYI, the early 2.75" only versions can be converted to handle 3" by changing the ejector and barrel(or reaming the chamber to 3"). Edit: over 11 million 870's produced. Wingmaster and police versions are best. Express versions can be brought up to Wingmaster quality with some parts changes

A 870 will do the job, if you use a 1100 you will never look back at a 870
