This man's passion and vocabulary is 9.5/10. The look in his eyes "I'll do it again" after the trailer incident 😂
I think you missed the 1 in front of 19.5. Only to be beaten by Rabbit's 27.32 and Ed's 9999999999.4
Justin Marhold, agreed, this guy is great
I can only wish that I could communicate that clearly in my every day life
Nice to know the guy I've traded the most cars with watches the same videos sup justin 😂
Lol hi alec!
"I'm not proud of that but I would do it again"
This sounds like an excellent autobiography title for this hearse aficionado
"The rust coming off this car looks like Thanos just snapped it out of existence."
You have won the internet of cars.
The best Saddest story ever !!!Show me and the head light falls off.🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 I've been there😞😖😞😖😔
People that use emojis are retarded I stg
Jman 123 guys either middle aged trying to be modern. Or some 10-14 yr old kid trying to fit in
@@stevenatherton4629 Yep he is a piss ant kid trying to be that profile pic troll........... lol
Chris: "show me"
Christine: "lol, k. [CLUNK]"
I feel genuinely bad for laughing at that.
@@WaterLines333 as a guy with a cherished wreck I do too.
*tells a story about buying a dream car that ultimately ruined his childhood*
ARE YOU LOOKING TO BUY YOUR DREAM CAR?
LMAO thats so dank
Everyone has a "The one that got away" story.
This is one of those "Wish I hadn't caught it" tragedies.
Dragging up a bloated corpse can ruin anybody's fishin trip haha
Most people that get married feel that way
@@atrujillo7836 Ouch!
Mine was a 1986 Jaguar XJS V-12....much worse than advertised.
But it should have got away!
“I’m not proud of that...but I’d do it again.”
Words to live by
I love the ads when they say "ran before parked"
Of course the car was running, until it died. Hence why you parked it lol. Take my $500 and give me the car already!
@@E.Asinus yup lol
@@E.Asinus not true. My car died 5 parks ago I'm just using human power to move it instead of horse power
6:55 You already know this, but she's a keeper.
Finally another person who grew up watching Christine
Head is off in the trunk? But ran when parked? That might’ve been the first sign of don’t buy it lol.
Yep, here's your card
These cars were rare as hens teeth back then and are notoriously bad with rusting so finding any with those body lines was near impossible.
I wonder how the head didn't fall out the "bottom" of the trunk...
It was running ... until the bolts holding the head rusted through and the head fell off.
You have earned a gold star
Yes, Chris is back. Loved his hearse stories. Make him a regular.
I third this.
Dude! "Show me" and the head light falls off. I laughed so hard I cried!
Had the same....LOL So visual, as if I were there.
It's so funny, it's poetic!
You know a real car guy wrote the ad when it says... "Runs 10's … needs motor"
"She'll start. You need these!" 🔑
"I'm not proud of that but I would do it again." Needs to be on a t-shirt! Hilarious
"show me"
*Headlights fall off*
(I burst into laughter)
This guy can spin a brilliant yarn. Love his work.
“Crush the mortal soul from my ginger body” what a sad accurate thing to say
"I'm not proud of that, but I'd do it again." My man
“I do what every car guy does and get drunk” only some things can help us with car blows like liqour haha
OMG....I thought it was only me with Christine!!!! I know every friggin line!! ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE MOVIE EVER!!!!
This dude is a FANTASTIC story teller!!
I love this guy need more guys like him on here doesn't talk really proper, has humor, and has energy I love it!!!
The 42 dislikes are from the narrowly-escaping seller and his spawn
VINWiki just keeps finding the best storytellers. Which is why I subscribed...
I bought a 68 Charger online once. The guy sent me pics of a different car's undercarriage, so when it showed up and rolled off the delivery truck with a frame almost completely rusted through I did the exact same thing and got drunk and swore at it and let it sit in the garage for months before getting it running and selling what was left of it. That is what true heart break feels like.
Did it come from Illinois, by chance?
@@JRC99 I'm pretty sure it came from missouri, but who knows where they got it from.
@@lincoln5o I just wondered there's a guy in Illinois (Hans Luedtke) who is infamous for this exact scam with 68-70 Chargers. If you haven't, Google HLPAG
@@JRC99 Oh wow. Looks like they're still in business too. That's exactly why i went to pick up my 69 in person. Learned my lesson.
I came in thinking this had to be a Rabbit story, but this was a 10/10 heart breaker story for the ages. There needs to be some justice here.
Anybody who can reference, "The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy" and is a car guy. Would have been one of my best friends for life.
Been thinking about getting VOGON vanity plates on my c10
This is a real Hooptie Frood
Last time I was this early Rabbit was still in jury duty.
I made it in somewhere between the purchase of the Camaro SS and the van.
So many 80's references I understand. So many...
Rental companies had so many copies of Fast Times at Ridgemont High ruined because people would stop and repeatedly play one scene. You can guess why.
Also, I STILL have my copy of Iacocca that he talks about. Sits next to a biography of Thomas Jefferson.
Jack Linde respect!
“Resurrected 45 minutes before we got there” 😂
Your friend showed more restraint than I would have! The way you described that situation, the first thing I'm thinking is 'We're going Thunderdome on this piece of human trash...'
The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy reference killed me 😂
I genuinely feel bad for this guy
I don’t think I was ever as angry at one of these stories like when he said “That’s your problem not my problem.” Like dude, holy shit.
LermanCT in one of my other videos I talk about an old man who stiffed me on a hearse and people were giving me grief for not beating his ass - it was this incident that taught me to control my temper when wronged.
Nice Hitch Hikers Guide reference.
"By the gods old and new" I lol't
An epic beating? Yes.
Dude dropped a Hitchhiker's Guide reference... mad props.
My dream car is still a 59' Miller Meteor...
Not the Ghostbusters, but the Twisted Metal...
The hearse Shadow driven by Mortimer? YES YES YES!!!!!!! That's the first car I beat TM2 with in late 1996 and still my favorite car of TM2! Holland map "Field of Screams" made me scream so much at the enemy cars.
Don't tell him that Graveyard cars is taking one to SEMA.
September is when the new model year came out -- nice quote from the movie!
I chuckled when he mentioned VHS tapes :D
Did they come with free title stickers ?
@@markoz673bajen8 what
Dude I love this guy, Great story!
Christine is also my favorite movie - the "ok show me" and the bezel falling off actually made a very unladylike sound come out of my mouth LOL
I would watch any video this guy records, the Thanos comment definitely made me laugh out loud. 10/10 storytelling skills 👍👍
“The victim of this epic beating”
Best way to start a story like this
Lol rust coming off like thanos’s snap
Loved the story and storytelling. Great job.
Bring this guy more often please he's really awsome
i lost it when he said he stood in front of it and say "ok show me" and the ring around the headlight fell off
Can perfection get more perfect? The car was crap, but Chris alchemized it (Is that a word?) into story-tellin' gold!!!
that’s me every time i look at a 95-99 eclipse GSX here in illinois always just piles of crap and it hurts lol
Chris: show me..
Christine: ••_•.
That made me genuinely laugh out loud
Glad I could make you laugh, being able to own one and say that is on my list for sure.
I like this guy, he references many movies and comics i grew up with . that even looks like Christine . Great story man.
Still have that VHS and original sleeve
this guy right here is hilarious I think him and Rob Pitts got some competition in my opinion these two are the funniest on this channel and can tell an amazing story
We need more stories from this guy! Hes fantastic all around.
06:32 That was hilarious!!!!
The one movie that got me into cars was Blues Brothers.
I loved the story man, but I'm so sorry for your heartbreak. Much love and luck to all your other ventures!
Jeez, these "last time I was this early" comments are getting old
I've always been a fan of that forward look the Mopars had in the late 50's. I am even more of a fan of Christine. I got to see her when she was in Bangor Maine a year or so ago. The car did not did not disappoint. It is a crying shame that the late 50s Mopars were not as popular as the GM and Ford products. It really does make them extremely difficult to find now. And when you do find them, they end up being like the ones in this video.
That kinda pain, even xanax is like "i got nothin.."
We need more stories from him! I love this story and also feel bad for him😥
I had close to the same thing happen. A guy in Cleveland was advertising a Christine, the right year, model and color, in good shape for $2500! I grabbed my best friend and a trailer and run down to buy it. It was NOT in good shape. The door fell off when I opened it. I sat down to start the car and the seat went to the ground. The seat was balancing on the drive shaft. The motor wouldn’t start, the oil was a cream color and parts were just falling off. I left it there and cried all the way home.
1:03 I spat up my redbull😂 love this guy!
I can identify... I love ‘57 Plymouth’s and have dragged home a couple rusty hulks but to find one that is truly buildable is tough...
Another video another day at the office paid listening to this 👌
What job do you do then?
Igor Blyat paper pushing engineer
@@guytoast666 sounds "fun" 😂
"The Forward Look" translated into "Easily biodegradable"- they rotted like nobodies business...
Also my most favorite movie of all time. First watched when i was 4, now im 40. Still love it
Man, what a terrible outcome. But what a great job telling the story! Thanks for sharing it on the channel.
8:22 I swear to you, by the Gods old and new
*Game of Throne theme intensifies*
THAT is at once both a crushing and hilarious tale. This man's way with words is outstanding, and I was laughing at the images he was constructing probably as much as the story itself. Someone else could tell this story, and it wouldn't be half as amusing and entertaining. Job well done! Oh, and it really sucks that he's never been able to find one to make up for it. We all know that heartache.
I love this guy and his nerdy eloquence!
I really want a 1958 fury to go to high school and scare everyone I know on Halloween
My 1959 Ford truck scares people
I like this guy.
The pain in his voice at the end made me so sad.
Last time I was this early, Ed wasn't yet in a position to say I told you so.
Last time I was this early, the Oconee County courthouse didn't look for phones in purses.
This guy is my spirit human... I'm new to vinwiki but I've been hooked, my buddy sent me this with the caption "omg is this future you?!" 🤣🤣 More from him please!!
man i have one of those stories of my 4th car i ever bought, 2000 Audi S4 6 MT sight unseen online via the audi forums in 2008ish. Guy described it and photoded it as a perfect example in great condition garage kept 64,000 mile theft recovery so it was just stolen and joy rode in PA. He bought it in PA moved to Chi town, I lived here in Phoenix for school had it shipped sight un seen after seeing images speaking to him ojn the phone asking all th questions ran the carfax. When it got off the truck wow what a disaster of a car. Blown turbos, alignment was pulling the car every which direction, oil spewing out, etc. Needed wheel hubs. I ended up rebuilding the car though and got it into a very nice vehicle again after about 12000-15000 in parts and my own labor.
This guy is an amazing storyteller. I would love to see more content from him!
i used to drive a towtruck in central ohio and i have towed a "christine" clone several times for a guy that has since sold it and has restored an old ambulance. very beautiful vehicles.
Im so scared Mr Stark lmao... !!
This man is priceless, more of him!
Another great story!!!!!
I legit lol'd at the title of this vid.
So weird, I haven't seen that movie in decades then it shows up on TV the last night and now it's haunting vinwiki.
Great story!
This was so good i watched it again
That movie..... Got me started in cars at 5 years old. OK SHOW ME.....

I kind of want to help the guy crowdfund it.
I have a hell of a story from buying lp640 from Japan
One of the best storylines ever 😆🤒
Lol we definitely need more stories from him
Great Movie. Those cars are far and few we have a shop up here building a clone as we speak. Great Vid Chris !
This is a great example of why you don't pay until you have eyes on the car.
Great story teller.........more please
You wife is a dear dear woman. She knew your passion for this car and felt your disappointment.
