I just don't understand why people have such an issue with the new design being a "rip off" or "copy". The airpods have the most pocketable, comfortable case. The design themselves have been reviewed constantly as incredibly comfortable, and the pinch controls over the capacitive touch controls are generally better and more reliable. How many other brands have also copied the stem/lollipop design? This isn't a new thing. Apples new version of IOS has directly copied android features, this is a good thing not a bad thing. It's called innovation and it's great to see companies admit they get things wrong rather than continuing a status quo for the sake of it sacrificing better functionality and experiences for the end user.

Like with IOS 18 and being able to move icons around. It has been an objectively better feature to have once phones started getting so huge and yet Apple has stuck with snapping app icons and widgets for over a decade with no real benefit for the user. It's why when apple changes the reaction is bigger because android users (including myself) have a "it's about damn time" moment.

A similar design doesn't mean Samsung is copying Apple. And Apple wasn't the first to come put with that design for their airpods, another company came put with it before, just like Apple wasn't the first to create a dynamic island. Apple has zero claim over that design and Samsung using it doesn't mean anything. The Buds3 lineup is still very different. The stems, the case, the software for the Buds, and even the features. Samsung does something remotely similar and suddenly they're copying Apple? That design is literally the BEST design for earbuds. They fit perfectly and the stems allow for easier and faster touch control. Being able to adjust the fit without pausing your music or something is an example. Samsung knows this and made the design their own. Like I said they're completely different, I genuinely don't see how anyone would ever mistake the Buds3 series for Airpods

Samsung NEEDED this design in order to introduce the new, never seen before features in these earbuds. The stem design is just superior and makes it so you have more space for electronic components inside, as well as more battery and a microphone pointing to your mouth on the stem itself. I mean...when Samsung does it, it's a rip-off? Every other brand went for this superior design and it was time for Samsung to do the same.

I have both and the buds 3 are better for the simple fact that they have noise canceling. Obviously, it doesn't cancel all noise because they don't have tips but it does cancel out a noticeable amount. Besides that, both earphones are even in my eyes

Unless there's numbers that highlight Airpods/Apple Watches are the preferred wearable across non-Apple devices which I don't think I've seen.
Its actually the only way samsung could improve their buds it not that they specificly wanted to but it makes it so they can fit more into the earbuds. Better bettery life and better audio than the ban design.

The only way to improve microphone quality is to have a stem hence why this apple AirPod design is so popular. Samsung got hate for the poor microphone quality for years because their earbuds go inside the ear and it’s hard to pick up on voice clearly especially with the Galaxy AI taking front row and voice command being more important.

Literally every wireless earbuds that has active noise cancellation and good microphone quality is that design cause the ear piece creates a good seal and the stem provides good microphone. I lost my galaxy buds 2 on a trip 😭 I tried using the gps but it only shows the location where i last took them oit of their case. (I hadnt used them on the way back) so it prob fell in luggage bay while i helped unload. Need some new ones haha
This isn't about "being different" this is about recognizing that stems are better! I'm a Samsung guy. The previous buds were always lacking something for my ears, at least for me, the previous buds design were too clunky and had no balance in ear to make them feel like wearing them is natural.
