The light isn't only decorative. When you are looking for them through the app, it turns on so you can see them. It's pretty cool and helped me find them in the dark crevices

I'm sorry, but I sure would like it if people would move pass the look alike complaint. Personally I much prefer the new design of the Buds 3 Pro than the earlier Buds 2 Pro that looked like a marble stuck in your ear. Just shows the difference in likes and dislikes. It's all about choices, if you don't care for the new design there are plenty of other options out there. For me I love the Buds 3 Pro, and think Samsung hit a home run! Despite the current delay due to a couple of issues, there is no doubt I my mind that Samsung will make it right.

Yeah, personally, most other ear buds just look like hearing aids. At least the stem is functional to get the mic closer to your mouth, and visually distinctive.
I have the buds 3 pro and hands down the best microphone for calls. I've owned over 10 latest earbuds, including B&O EX, Denon Perl Pro, Apple airpods pro 2, Bose QC Ultra, Huawei freebuds pro 3 and Nothing Ear 2 and tested them extensively. Nothing 2 and Huawei FP3 are tied as second best. Bose QC Ultra are the worst when in noisy environment and especially wind. Hope this helps.
I have both the buds 3 and buds 3 pro. Here's my take: buds3pro definitely fits better and it can isolate the outside noise better. However, my ears start to feel irritated after wearing it for too long (around 3-4 hours). Although the buds3 feels slightly loose in the ear I can wear it for hours without feeling the strain. So, I wear my buds3pro when I'm in places where it's very noisy and only for short duration (i.e., going to gym, going for a drink at a cafe, taking a run/walk). I wear my buds3 when I wear it for long duration (i.e, working in the office, taking a long trip ride like train/plane).
@ahmet_10 it's very good. It has some bass but not as good as the pro just because it doesn't fit right into your ear. But when you're in a noisy environment then you might not enjoy the base model.
@@ahmet_10 yes then I would suggest getting the base model. I wear the base model more often purely because of its comfort. However, I have heard that some people complain about the buds that don't sit well in the ear and keep falling off. I don't have that problem.
I'm looking to get both, the Buds3 and 3 Pros. I work at a dealership, so having the open ear design helps a little with hearing around me. I prefer the cushions for listening to podcasts, gaming and music. My distant gripe is that the Buds3/3 Pros have a shorter battery life than the Buds FEs, which are my go to pair. I'll know from a hands on perspective how they fit me as a user once i can actually get my hands on em. Great review bud.
@ren0210989 I have both, the Buds3 and Buds3 Pros. I love the 3 Pros compared to the Buds3s. However, they don't go "all day" (close to 8 hours) as my Buds FEs do. It's different grabbing a stem versus tapping the earbuds is a little weird. But I love em, none the less.
@ahmet_10 I'd say that the Buds3s have really good sound, and the noise canceling is good in moderately noisy areas. They move around in my ears a bit much for me, so I tend to use my Buds3 Pros and FEs more consistently.

Stem designs has been around for like forever. E.g During the days of wired earphones 🤷🏽♂️. So apple is definitely not the first to use such design. Just like how a company will make a phone today with flat sides and most people would say that they are copying apple. IMO There are literally just two ways to make phone sides which is either flat or rounded. A company can decide to use which ever they want and that doesn’t mean they are copying anybody
I think people are bummed because the previous Galaxy Buds were a pretty straightforward design. Rather than innovating with something new & different - like they tried to do with the Buds Live, which were weird, but different at least - people feel that this just looks too lazy or similar.
I happened to purchase the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and I must say that I experienced headaches, nausea, and a sensation of losing my balance throughout the day. I am unsure of the cause, but I did not anticipate encountering these issues since I previously used the Huawei FreeBuds 4 with ANC and ear tips. I replaced them with the Buds 3 without ear tips, and I believe this was a wise decision as they provide everything I need without causing headaches.
I was considering upgrading but I really loved the galaxy buds 1 pro's battery capacity with noise cancellation. However hearing that their still lesser to it and since my workplace doesn't like them showing; Ill have to stick to what I have. Overall the improvements seem superficial at best.
Great comparison. I ordered the Buds3 some days ago. Not a fan of eartips. I have been using and loving Airpods 3 for quite a while but I recently got a S24U so...Curious to see how similar they are in all aspects. Subscribed!
@@Kaijosuoh Buds 3 are great. I like them as much as the Airpods 3 and indeed they are very similar. Can't really tell which is better although I prefer the Airpods 3 and their case in terms of build quality and design. Performance is a toss up.

I went with the buds 3 instead of pro cause I had pro on the 1st iteration and like you don't love the plugged feeling - and it was cheaper 😂 If I need ANC I'll put on the sony xm5

Does the music automatically stop/play when you take the buds out/ put back in your ear? I have some Beats Fit Pro and they have this function like air pods do. I'd hate to lose this feature.
I was considering Samsung earbuds for my next pair of wireless earbuds but after the stem redesign, maybe not. I get that the controls and mic quality can be better with a stem, but I like having an in-ear earbud and being able to just forget it's there and I feel like a stem hanging out would ruin that effect. So just as I get a Samsung phone, they had to pull this and make me not wanna get the earbuds lol Also not to mention those prices, yikes. My current pair of wireless earbuds were $50 and they work just fine, so I don't wanna pay more than like 100 to 150 at most for a new pair.

I preordered the silver Buds 3 Pro and I am still waiting for it. I do not like the white one coz it looks like airpods which I do not like (design wise). It looks just like my wired Apple earpods with the cables chopped with a cleaver. Samsung nailed the design and I cannot wait for my order.
The case looks awful as if an intern designed it. Why is it clear and what is up with the red and blue markers? Nonrounded using a triangle pattern? And yeah they ripped off the apple airpod pro design notice he had to say "both are galaxy buds". Epic fail in my book. At least the pixel buds looked unique and won't confuse them with the leader's product.
@@cranbers I think they intended to be a clear top for the blade lights flashing through the clear plastic. Red and blue colors indicator for the triangular stem and unique way to put the buds inside the case. At first.. I got confused with the design and way of putting the buds in the case but after a couple of tries within 24 hours. I got it some how..
I’m using the 3 pros with my iPhone and it's a wonderful experience. All the voice controls for music work and these fit my ears better than AirPods ever did for some reason.
Can you elaborate more on the noise cancellation quality of the regurlar buds 3? Their design better fits my ear than the ones with eartips but I really want the noise cancelling feature if I'm paying over $100 for these. Since the regular buds 3 are open ear style, of course the noise cancelling is very questionable for me. Would you still recommend it (it reduces noise very well), or would you recommend the buds 3 pro for that?
In my opinion, the noise cancelling on the regular Buds 3 is a bit more artificial and sounds sort of like you're underwater. It's hard to explain, but the earbuds are working really hard to cancel the noise. The Buds 3 Pro don't need as much active noise cancellation because as a starting point, you ears are pretty sealed off anyway with the ear tips being deep inside. The regular Bud 3 cancel a lot of noise, but it may not be the right sort of sound of some people.
I would put it this way. The Buds 3 are for those that prefer the open ear style of buds and the pros & cons that they inherently come with. And also your younger users. Maybe you got a 12 year old and you want them to have a nice set of buds but not sure you can trust them to maintain some $250 buds. Well, this might be that pair.
Rubber tips never stay in my ears. I must have stupid shaped ears. I got the Galaxy Buds2 Pro last year when I got my S23+ because reviews for them seemed good, and all said how they fit well and whatnot. Well... I still have issues... Do the Galaxy Buds3 and 3Pro have better sounds than the 2Pro, or pretty similar or the same? And I am just wondering since the Buds3 shape would typically fit my ear (When I had an iPod like, 10 years ago and had the Apple earphones that came with it that were shaped like what the Buds3 are) if they would be worth getting, or if because the Buds3 Pro are the same shape as the Buds3, but with the extra rubber tip on the end, if the Buds3 Pro would end up actually fitting, or still push themselvws out.
Both. I pre-ordered on Amazon and they pushed the delivery back to October. So I canceled and snagged a pair from someone on eBay who had them somehow. But the Pro's don't have a listing at all on Amazon right now and a few third party retailers I know of aren't getting them in right now. They may be prioritizing customers who have orders and then they'll re-stock everywhere else
did a $50 trade in and they were on sale $20 so i got mine for 200. so far i love them and have none of the issues listed in this video. going from buds+ to buds3 pros is like going from an frs to a ferrari.

My concern is that Samsung is losing it's unique identity. I don't want an iPhone or I products. I really dislike ios. I bought an iPhone last year, and it sits collecting dust most of the time. I have been using my Galaxy A35, and I like it much better. It may not have 4k 60fps video, but 30fps is fine, and it's fast enough. I am afraid of One UI 7 making it too close to an iPhone. If this keeps up, why even buy a Samsung if you can just buy an iPhone that's almost exactly like it? Samsung needs to reverse course right away. If not, I may switch to Motorola or a Pixel.
I'm legitimately concerned One UI 7 will look like a goofy Mickey Mouse iOS too. Pixel has always been my preferred Android experience - and they have their issues too - but I can't say Google has copied Apple in the same was Samsung has in recent years.
Exactly my thoughts. I guess the only downside for me is that Google doesn't officially sell their devices in my region, and I'm not keen on these Chinese brands that are spreading like wildfire
You're just being dramatic. I use android too, but there are a few things that I wish android has like ios. Recently, I bought the pro max iphone as my 2nd phone because my s21 series got some issues. And I like both.
I just bought the Buds 3 I don't like them so far. They dont stay charged long, im on 3 hours and it's already beeping in my ear to be charged. They dont stay in my ear while im chewing, talking, running, etc. I'm on day 3 and wanting to return them. 😢
Not sure if you decided but I just got the regular one and these earbuds feel fine like reviewer mentioned the fit can be a bit loose but I've shook ny head and it doesn't feel like they're gonna fly out (unless maybe I go for a run - not tested yet) If I were you'd I'd save the $70 and wait for GTA 6 to come out 😅
Lost my beats bought the regualr bud 3s and found the beats same day lmaoo but honestly love the buds 3 dont have issue with fitting and sound qulity is amazing
as someone with sensory issues I really wish there was a way to feel both buds before purchasing bc that may be the dealbreaker for one over the other, and unfortunately I often have issues with both non rubber tipped and rubber tipped earbuds
@@StenTijhuis yeah they just don't feel right... My 2 pros felt so much more snug in my ear. Also the wind noise is freaking atrocious. Especially if you have them in while driving with the windows slightly open. The noise cancelation gets all crazy and feels like my heads going to implode. Not sure if that's programing or just bad ear tips..
I had the same problem with the noise cancellation when I was riding my bicycle. It was like, as soon as there was a little bit of wind, the buds couldn't handle it and started playing the wind back into my ears. It was like having a teammate in Discord who was blowing into his mic, haha.
I just got the 3 regular and the default balanced I didn't love I changed EQ to clear and I like the sound better now but that might just be preference so I would just mess with it 😊
I had got mine on the 22nd of july i pre ordered them like the day of the unpacked event, i havent had any issues at all there is a very very slight uneveness with the top part like you had mentioned but besides that theyve been great
You would have thought that you would get rubber ear tips on the normal galaxy 3 bud's anyway, I wouldn't trust them to be secure in your ears if you're doing running or any type of physical exercise. The rubber ear tips I would have thought are needed for a decent fit and grip in your ears so you don't loose them and also help with outside noise blocking.

The Galaxy Buds 3/3Pro and Airpod 3/Pro 2 are very very good earbuds, and both are certainly the best earbuds for their respective closesystems, but, just like Apple's Airpods 3/Pro, it's not my cup of tea 🍵, I don't like to be locked up. Don't fall into the trap of "Closesystem", "Golden Cages", whether Samsung, or Apple🍏, a prison is still a prison, no matter how golden it may be, don't put all your eggs 🥚 in one basket 🗑️, NEVER !!! There are the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3, Sony Xm5, OnePlus Buds 3, Tecnics AZ80, Qcy Ht08 Melobuds Pro, Realme Buds Air 5 Pro... Which are just as if not better in some ways and are platform agnostic. 🙏🏽

I think the convenience of both AirPods and Galaxy Buds make people default-pick them, especially if they're already in the store buying the phone. But I agree, there are probably dozens of cheap and expensive buds that are better, just not as convenient.
Great point I agree that you should not out yourself in a cage I have the s24 I have the watch and I just got the earbuds and I do this understanding I have options ( it would be way harder for me to pick one of the options you have above since they all have pros and cons looked at the Sony xm5 ) but at the end of the day I picked the buds 3 because I know i samsungs and if they ever piss me up I have no qualms leaving the economy system. It wasnt the buds themselves that were bad, it was the tips were tearing. The silicon was a bad batch. It wasn't any issues with the buds themselves. The silicon was ripping when changing the tips.
Airpods knock off yes.. but I think it's the feature and usability is what they meant with the design over the previous Buds. With the messed up QC. both S24U pre-order incident in the Philippines we're they got fcked up with the expected delivery date of delivery and some defects specially the grainy screen from what i've read to our local group. and now this. *Edit: I got my GB3P and this is was my first time high end earphones. So far, it came out good. and can't wait to try the real Airpods (i got the reps as of now but it came out good) and the Sony ones soon.
@@TechDaily i found out why my right bud hurts my ear. Finish of the bud is bad, and connection between 2 plastic peaces at the tip is bad and it makes sharp edge. It cuts my ear every time I put bud in my ear. Cuts are really small and barely visible, but they hurt like hell

Why would you copy a less superior design! The previous versions are way better. I even chose my phone by how comfortable the buds 2 are. Hopefully they fire the designer and go back to the old way.
I’m thinking that the pro would work better for Motorcycling. Isolation is vital. Also, the buds remaining in place when I put my helmet on it CRITICAL !!
How are you able to put helmet on with earbuds? I've been trying for years lol I had the buds pro 1 and nevrt got them on and I down these buds 3 will either
@kharl92 I found it difficult too. Tipping the helmet helps, but doesn't always work. Lately I found a super thin hoodie tee-shirt: I put in the ear buds, then pull the hood 7/8th up over my head, then put on the helmet. Works great! Note that this works well over 90% of the time, but that the ear buds dislodge when removing the helmet. It has another plus on hot days where I spray the tee with water to cool me down. With a thin hoodie I can wet the hood part too, which is wildly effective. Make sense?
I've got the regiulars buds and fit 3 for free due to buying my a55 from telco. Ngl the i thought they were bad but have equalizer which i think by far better than airpods.

I hav a iPhone 13 Pro Max, I haven’t bought a AirPods because they cost to much in the Caribbean and I hav a JBL charge 5 and it works well for me for watching movies and listening music. Buy a JBL charge 5, You’ll thank me later. Sound quality is better and the bass is crazy good
Huawei has the stem design buds for long time. Nonethless i feel the Buds 3 pro in person looks and feels cheap flimsy plastic, more pronounced on the grey color.
Buds 3 are BIG trash. I picked these up just to tey since they didnt have the pro version. Immediately wanted to bring them back. I can't get a fit that I'm confident knowing they wont fall out. Wore them on a plane and they were useless. Loudest flight ever.

So I just got my butts 3 pro they're freaking amazing I love the voice feature I can't get my ear tips off and I'm afraid I'm going to rip them I mean I'm trying dude and they smell bad I tried wiping them down with alcohol pads that seem to help a little bit but they still stink and made my ears itch a little bit but they definitely sound better than the pro 2's and the pro 2's make my ears itch too I've just learned to deal with it they're incredible

I'm not even mad about the design. They stay in my ears a lot better than the buds2 pro. That's for sure..
I have both the buds 3 and buds 3 pro. Here's my take:
buds3pro definitely fits better and it can isolate the outside noise better. However, my ears start to feel irritated after wearing it for too long (around 3-4 hours). Although the buds3 feels slightly loose in the ear I can wear it for hours without feeling the strain. So, I wear my buds3pro when I'm in places where it's very noisy and only for short duration (i.e., going to gym, going for a drink at a cafe, taking a run/walk). I wear my buds3 when I wear it for long duration (i.e, working in the office, taking a long trip ride like train/plane).
How is the sound quality of the base model?
@ahmet_10 it's very good. It has some bass but not as good as the pro just because it doesn't fit right into your ear. But when you're in a noisy environment then you might not enjoy the base model.

@@ahmet_10 yes then I would suggest getting the base model. I wear the base model more often purely because of its comfort. However, I have heard that some people complain about the buds that don't sit well in the ear and keep falling off. I don't have that problem.

I'm looking to get both, the Buds3 and 3 Pros. I work at a dealership, so having the open ear design helps a little with hearing around me. I prefer the cushions for listening to podcasts, gaming and music. My distant gripe is that the Buds3/3 Pros have a shorter battery life than the Buds FEs, which are my go to pair. I'll know from a hands on perspective how they fit me as a user once i can actually get my hands on em. Great review bud.

@ren0210989 I have both, the Buds3 and Buds3 Pros. I love the 3 Pros compared to the Buds3s. However, they don't go "all day" (close to 8 hours) as my Buds FEs do. It's different grabbing a stem versus tapping the earbuds is a little weird. But I love em, none the less.

@ahmet_10 I'd say that the Buds3s have really good sound, and the noise canceling is good in moderately noisy areas. They move around in my ears a bit much for me, so I tend to use my Buds3 Pros and FEs more consistently.

Stem designs has been around for like forever. E.g During the days of wired earphones 🤷🏽♂️.
So apple is definitely not the first to use such design.
Just like how a company will make a phone today with flat sides and most people would say that they are copying apple. IMO There are literally just two ways to make phone sides which is either flat or rounded. A company can decide to use which ever they want and that doesn’t mean they are copying anybody
I think people are bummed because the previous Galaxy Buds were a pretty straightforward design. Rather than innovating with something new & different - like they tried to do with the Buds Live, which were weird, but different at least - people feel that this just looks too lazy or similar.
Apple is the only company I've ever saw to first have stem design for true wireless headphones. Which is ugly tbh
I'm allergic to latex so the tips cause my ears to become itchy. I chose the Buds 3 without the the tips for this reason. Happy with them.
I happened to purchase the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and I must say that I experienced headaches, nausea, and a sensation of losing my balance throughout the day.
I am unsure of the cause, but I did not anticipate encountering these issues since I previously used the Huawei FreeBuds 4 with ANC and ear tips. I replaced them with the Buds 3 without ear tips, and I believe this was a wise decision as they provide everything I need without causing headaches.
I was considering upgrading but I really loved the galaxy buds 1 pro's battery capacity with noise cancellation. However hearing that their still lesser to it and since my workplace doesn't like them showing; Ill have to stick to what I have. Overall the improvements seem superficial at best.
Great comparison. I ordered the Buds3 some days ago. Not a fan of eartips. I have been using and loving Airpods 3 for quite a while but I recently got a S24U so...Curious to see how similar they are in all aspects.

@@Kaijosuoh Buds 3 are great. I like them as much as the Airpods 3 and indeed they are very similar. Can't really tell which is better although I prefer the Airpods 3 and their case in terms of build quality and design. Performance is a toss up.

I would consider the Buds3 for the simple fact AirPods 3rd gen don't fit my ears. I would never go pro on either I hate that plugged feeling.

I was considering Samsung earbuds for my next pair of wireless earbuds but after the stem redesign, maybe not. I get that the controls and mic quality can be better with a stem, but I like having an in-ear earbud and being able to just forget it's there and I feel like a stem hanging out would ruin that effect.
So just as I get a Samsung phone, they had to pull this and make me not wanna get the earbuds lol
Also not to mention those prices, yikes. My current pair of wireless earbuds were $50 and they work just fine, so I don't wanna pay more than like 100 to 150 at most for a new pair.

Tbh they're not uncomfortable at all, I had Buds+ and Buds Pro, now I have 3 Pro and you can definitely forget you have them in your ears, especially with Ambient Sound mode

I preordered the silver Buds 3 Pro and I am still waiting for it. I do not like the white one coz it looks like airpods which I do not like (design wise). It looks just like my wired Apple earpods with the cables chopped with a cleaver. Samsung nailed the design and I cannot wait for my order.

The case looks awful as if an intern designed it. Why is it clear and what is up with the red and blue markers? Nonrounded using a triangle pattern? And yeah they ripped off the apple airpod pro design notice he had to say "both are galaxy buds". Epic fail in my book. At least the pixel buds looked unique and won't confuse them with the leader's product.

I’m using the 3 pros with my iPhone and it's a wonderful experience. All the voice controls for music work and these fit my ears better than AirPods ever did for some reason.
Can you elaborate more on the noise cancellation quality of the regurlar buds 3? Their design better fits my ear than the ones with eartips but I really want the noise cancelling feature if I'm paying over $100 for these. Since the regular buds 3 are open ear style, of course the noise cancelling is very questionable for me. Would you still recommend it (it reduces noise very well), or would you recommend the buds 3 pro for that?
In my opinion, the noise cancelling on the regular Buds 3 is a bit more artificial and sounds sort of like you're underwater. It's hard to explain, but the earbuds are working really hard to cancel the noise. The Buds 3 Pro don't need as much active noise cancellation because as a starting point, you ears are pretty sealed off anyway with the ear tips being deep inside. The regular Bud 3 cancel a lot of noise, but it may not be the right sort of sound of some people.

I would put it this way. The Buds 3 are for those that prefer the open ear style of buds and the pros & cons that they inherently come with. And also your younger users. Maybe you got a 12 year old and you want them to have a nice set of buds but not sure you can trust them to maintain some $250 buds. Well, this might be that pair.

Rubber tips never stay in my ears. I must have stupid shaped ears. I got the Galaxy Buds2 Pro last year when I got my S23+ because reviews for them seemed good, and all said how they fit well and whatnot. Well... I still have issues... Do the Galaxy Buds3 and 3Pro have better sounds than the 2Pro, or pretty similar or the same? And I am just wondering since the Buds3 shape would typically fit my ear (When I had an iPod like, 10 years ago and had the Apple earphones that came with it that were shaped like what the Buds3 are) if they would be worth getting, or if because the Buds3 Pro are the same shape as the Buds3, but with the extra rubber tip on the end, if the Buds3 Pro would end up actually fitting, or still push themselvws out.

Both. I pre-ordered on Amazon and they pushed the delivery back to October. So I canceled and snagged a pair from someone on eBay who had them somehow. But the Pro's don't have a listing at all on Amazon right now and a few third party retailers I know of aren't getting them in right now. They may be prioritizing customers who have orders and then they'll re-stock everywhere else
did a $50 trade in and they were on sale $20 so i got mine for 200. so far i love them and have none of the issues listed in this video. going from buds+ to buds3 pros is like going from an frs to a ferrari.

My concern is that Samsung is losing it's unique identity. I don't want an iPhone or I products. I really dislike ios. I bought an iPhone last year, and it sits collecting dust most of the time. I have been using my Galaxy A35, and I like it much better. It may not have 4k 60fps video, but 30fps is fine, and it's fast enough. I am afraid of One UI 7 making it too close to an iPhone.
If this keeps up, why even buy a Samsung if you can just buy an iPhone that's almost exactly like it? Samsung needs to reverse course right away. If not, I may switch to Motorola or a Pixel.
I'm legitimately concerned One UI 7 will look like a goofy Mickey Mouse iOS too. Pixel has always been my preferred Android experience - and they have their issues too - but I can't say Google has copied Apple in the same was Samsung has in recent years.

I just bought the Buds 3 I don't like them so far. They dont stay charged long, im on 3 hours and it's already beeping in my ear to be charged. They dont stay in my ear while im chewing, talking, running, etc. I'm on day 3 and wanting to return them. 😢

Not sure if you decided but I just got the regular one and these earbuds feel fine like reviewer mentioned the fit can be a bit loose but I've shook ny head and it doesn't feel like they're gonna fly out (unless maybe I go for a run - not tested yet)

@@StenTijhuis yeah they just don't feel right... My 2 pros felt so much more snug in my ear. Also the wind noise is freaking atrocious. Especially if you have them in while driving with the windows slightly open. The noise cancelation gets all crazy and feels like my heads going to implode. Not sure if that's programing or just bad ear tips..
I had the same problem with the noise cancellation when I was riding my bicycle. It was like, as soon as there was a little bit of wind, the buds couldn't handle it and started playing the wind back into my ears. It was like having a teammate in Discord who was blowing into his mic, haha.

I just got the 3 regular and the default balanced I didn't love
I changed EQ to clear and I like the sound better now but that might just be preference so I would just mess with it 😊
I had got mine on the 22nd of july i pre ordered them like the day of the unpacked event, i havent had any issues at all there is a very very slight uneveness with the top part like you had mentioned but besides that theyve been great

You would have thought that you would get rubber ear tips on the normal galaxy 3 bud's anyway, I wouldn't trust them to be secure in your ears if you're doing running or any type of physical exercise.
The rubber ear tips I would have thought are needed for a decent fit and grip in your ears so you don't loose them and also help with outside noise blocking.

The Galaxy Buds 3/3Pro and Airpod 3/Pro 2 are very very good earbuds, and both are certainly the best earbuds for their respective closesystems, but, just like Apple's Airpods 3/Pro, it's not my cup of tea 🍵, I don't like to be locked up.
Don't fall into the trap of "Closesystem", "Golden Cages", whether Samsung, or Apple🍏, a prison is still a prison, no matter how golden it may be, don't put all your eggs 🥚 in one basket 🗑️, NEVER !!!
There are the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3, Sony Xm5, OnePlus Buds 3, Tecnics AZ80, Qcy Ht08 Melobuds Pro, Realme Buds Air 5 Pro... Which are just as if not better in some ways and are platform agnostic.

I think the convenience of both AirPods and Galaxy Buds make people default-pick them, especially if they're already in the store buying the phone. But I agree, there are probably dozens of cheap and expensive buds that are better, just not as convenient.

I have the s24 I have the watch and I just got the earbuds and I do this understanding I have options ( it would be way harder for me to pick one of the options you have above since they all have pros and cons looked at the Sony xm5 ) but at the end of the day I picked the buds 3 because I know i samsungs and if they ever piss me up I have no qualms leaving the economy system. I them went to the bathroom and as I was wraping up leaned down to pull my pants up and it fell out again haha. So I went to samsungs website and turns out they have a trade in deal so I am now getting the pro for cheaper than I bought the 3 at Walmart and all I had to do was give them.the pro 1 I will no.longer be using

It wasnt the buds themselves that were bad, it was the tips were tearing. The silicon was a bad batch. It wasn't any issues with the buds themselves. The silicon was ripping when changing the tips.
Airpods knock off yes.. but I think it's the feature and usability is what they meant with the design over the previous Buds. With the messed up QC. both S24U pre-order incident in the Philippines we're they got fcked up with the expected delivery date of delivery and some defects specially the grainy screen from what i've read to our local group. and now this.
*Edit: I got my GB3P and this is was my first time high end earphones. So far, it came out good. and can't wait to try the real Airpods (i got the reps as of now but it came out good) and the Sony ones soon.

@@TechDaily i found out why my right bud hurts my ear. Finish of the bud is bad, and connection between 2 plastic peaces at the tip is bad and it makes sharp edge. It cuts my ear every time I put bud in my ear. Cuts are really small and barely visible, but they hurt like hell

They do have a weird smell. But they belong in your ear not your nose. Life is hard sometimes.

Why would you copy a less superior design! The previous versions are way better. I even chose my phone by how comfortable the buds 2 are. Hopefully they fire the designer and go back to the old way.
I’m thinking that the pro would work better for Motorcycling. Isolation is vital. Also, the buds remaining in place when I put my helmet on it CRITICAL !!

@kharl92 I found it difficult too. Tipping the helmet helps, but doesn't always work. Lately I found a super thin hoodie tee-shirt: I put in the ear buds, then pull the hood 7/8th up over my head, then put on the helmet. Works great! Note that this works well over 90% of the time, but that the ear buds dislodge when removing the helmet.
It has another plus on hot days where I spray the tee with water to cool me down. With a thin hoodie I can wet the hood part too, which is wildly effective. Make sense?

I hav a iPhone 13 Pro Max, I haven’t bought a AirPods because they cost to much in the Caribbean and I hav a JBL charge 5 and it works well for me for watching movies and listening music. Buy a JBL charge 5, You’ll thank me later. Sound quality is better and the bass is crazy good

Huawei has the stem design buds for long time. Nonethless i feel the Buds 3 pro in person looks and feels cheap flimsy plastic, more pronounced on the grey color.

Buds 3 are BIG trash. I picked these up just to tey since they didnt have the pro version. Immediately wanted to bring them back. I can't get a fit that I'm confident knowing they wont fall out. Wore them on a plane and they were useless. Loudest flight ever.

So I just got my butts 3 pro they're freaking amazing I love the voice feature I can't get my ear tips off and I'm afraid I'm going to rip them I mean I'm trying dude and they smell bad I tried wiping them down with alcohol pads that seem to help a little bit but they still stink and made my ears itch a little bit but they definitely sound better than the pro 2's and the pro 2's make my ears itch too I've just learned to deal with it they're incredible
