2:24 a little tip for putting the earbuds back in the case. If you take them off using the opposing hand it basically lines up automatically when you bring it to the correct side that it slots into. Your hand turning as you remove them automatically makes it face the right way. So if you grab the right earbud with your right hand you have to flip it to put it in, if you grab it with your left hand instead as you pull it out and move it to the case you'll kind of naturally turn it and it just lines up.
I am using the Buds 3 Pro. In an actual noisy environment (when a train passing by in a station plus announcements, my friends thought I was talking from my room), it's damn good. I went for the Buds 3 Pro for the Mic quality and Samsung eco system features. Audio Quality is decent. ANC and Transparency are as good as Apple Airpods Pro 2 (Transparency is more natural with Buds 3 Pro, ever so tinnier and louder with Apple).
@@Jonathannetworkspeedtester I actually went and bought the buds 3 pro only to cancel the purchase after watching an hours worth of RUclips reviews. Main issues are the cheap bulky look and lack of identity, looks sort of like a fake airpods you purchase on some shady website instead of an expensive pair of earbuds, inferior NC even to it's predecessor that emits a slight annoying buzzing sound, slightly better mic than the airpods but doesn't filter out background noise during calls nearly as well, and other slight annoyances like it not fitting into the box as well. Hopefully my buds 2 pro lasts another year cause I still love it, if they kept the minimalist design exactly the same I would upgrade, but this new design is too gimmicky, they made it triangular so they could have these lights that serve no important purpose, if you want to pause the video you're watching you have to do it carefully as to not partially remove the buds from your ear. I had high hopes for the buds 3pro and wanted to love it but it's just not worth the upgrade.
I've been looking forward to this review. Call quality is a sticking point for me. The galaxy buds 3 pro isolate voice better while 1+ buds pro 3 drop the volume to cancel noise, but they both soften the voice when you throw everything at them. Multipoint support may be the deciding factor though since I'm not in a single ecosystem.

Hello brother... I have s23 ultra so 1plus buds 3 pro or galaxy buds 3 pro.which should i pick for best music or movie experience. For oneplus it only supp. AAC right.? On my device
I really dislike the ear tips and they are proprietary. I also don't like the the pinch and swipe gestures. The buds sometimes don't sit on the charging prongs all the time. The sound quality and transparency is good but I miss the comfort of the buds 2 pro.
Lack of multipoint is a show stopper for me. These buds are probably flop of the year. Manufacturing issues, lack of features. Otherwise it could have been future proof and promising.
Agreed. Especially for that price point. When you're getting all of what you're getting from Soundcore, Oneplus and Earfun for half the price or less, these are a non-starter.
Thanks for the review nice job as always. I would like to point out that it's not easy to make earbuds IP57 and have good performance with the microphones. Jabra does it but not many others do. I think Samsung did a good job here the only thing I don't like is that ecosystem situation. 💯👍🇺🇸
Ok have i been the only one to do this but don't they fit so much better in my opinion that if you switch earbuds sides it seams to get a better seal and stem is tucked in earlobe so probably would hurt the calling features
I bought the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro in August. I guess I must have gotten the broken ANC one. I felt the ANC is almost non existent. Since I'm using this mostly to listen to music on an airplane, this buds is no fun at all. Later on I bought the new Bose QC and the ANC is waaaay better than the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. And then a friend of mine asked to trade the buds 3 pro for his wf1000xm5. I was hesitant at first because I do love the sound of the Buds 3 Pro. But then I brought the xm5 on an airplane trip and was blown away with the ANC. I do still curious with the Buds 3 pro though.

Did someone say there is no multipoint connection? Oh, okay, if that's the case, I am out, but it is possible to add in a firmware update, which many earbuds have been able to do.

I have been using stem-style buds a lot, and I am only realising now that I usually prefer the buds style. I am open to anything, but I do feel the previous styles by Samsung are better. I heard that Sony is releasing new headphones, hopefully, new earbuds too, but right now I am looking to purchase new headphones, so I am looking forward to potential new audio tech from Sony, finally! 😂😂.

I have the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. They sound great, mic quality is excellent, and transparency works very well, but they won't stay in my ears - especially while I'm eating or talking. I've tried every size eartip and even bought some foam tips - nothing worked. Annoying to the point of needing a replacement. I've since tried the Shokz Open Fit - cool idea, but the tip that's supposed to sit on your ear kept digging into my ear, so I had to return them. Then I tried the EarFun Free Pro 3, which sounded pretty good and stayed in well, but became uncomfortable after a few hours of wear. I then tried the Bose QuietComfort Buds (2024), which were comfortable, but the sound quality was disappointing, even after tweaking the EQ. That was really surprising considering the Bose brand used to be so well known for sound quality. I'm currently using the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro - excellent sound quality, excellent controls, good mic, and they comfortably stay in all day. The biggest downside I've found is the transparency - it's fine, but not quite as good as the Galaxy Buds Pro 3. Would the One Plus Buds Pro 3 be a better way to go for better transparency?
It sounds like you prefer a deeper fitting bud with a longer driver shaft. Check my spreadsheet as I mention if the bud has a shallow, moderate or deeper fit.
AirPods are #1 in sales and the most popular earbuds so Samsung copied Apple. They actually did a good job though…these get loud, have good bass, and sound good. Strange twist…they sound the best on iPhone with Apple Music
So im trying to decide between the pixel buds pro 2 and the galaxy buds pro 3 ( I Have a Samsung phone 2 missing pairs of pixel buds pro and a pair of galaxy buds pro ( the old ones) I always preferred the controls of pixel buds (had the pixel buds 2 (2020)) to Samsung controls because they had volume control up and down on both earbuds they also always fit better than my galaxy buds pro, Im stuck because i like the pixel buds pro 2 because they are smaller, have better battery life, and a speaker in the case to find it if lost (last two pairs of pros fell flat off the face of the earth out of nowhere so would make it easier to find them) what i dont like is the fact that im missing features because im on a s22 ultra and dont plan on switching to a pixel, On the other hand the galaxy buds 3 pro now seem to have the features of the pixel buds and more (volume controlls, extra features, and on top low latency gaming mode (assuming they are as good as the og buds pro), the better ambient mode controls (og buds pro beat my puxel buds pro by a longshot so id assume it would be similar), but Samsung is as trusted (had issues with support on my buds pro), doesnt have a speaker in the case if lost With all of that taken into account what would you recommend i go with of the two choices price isnt an issue between the two because they are so close
your max db value measurement is definitely wrong. I don't say the rankings is wrong but the number is too high I can guarantee you get deafen in 10 minutes if you listen to 120 db. that's frightening loud and no manufacturer allowed to designed mass produced headphones to be this loud. I have orginal buds pro and in most songs they reach maximum output of 101 db according to own samsung digital wellbeing app and I would say that number is pretty accurate. 120 db is loudness of strong pa systems when you sit in 1 meter of them
To be fair…AirPods are #1 in sales and the most popular earbuds. Samsung is copying Apple trying to boost sales but they actually did a good job. I own the AirPods Pro 2 and Galaxy Buds Pro 3 and they are both great…AirPods have more features and Galaxy Buds get louder and have more bass
Great Picky honest work like always. Now if only Apple would give us a fully customizable EQ and stop being a bunch of stubborn assholes…lol Thanks for sharing your thoughts 💯💪👍
I returned them cause they were so painful in ears. The base is made of hard plastic which led to a little soar in my ear. Im so surprised that they just release products without testing properly. I really liked them, I find them soo cool but they must ensure that they fit comfortable. Otherwise they are unbereable. Ears are not like feets and shoes, don't expect to get used to. To fix that issue id suggest Samsung to release proper tips
totally disagree...you have ranked one plus buds pro 3 at the first place...one plus buds are not even durable and hardly last for a year...they are nowhere compared to galaxy buds 3 pro

To my ears as well! the samsungs were better!
I totally agree with you 👍
Not at all. OnePlus are better.
These earbuds are the truth, but multipoint is an issue here
Another Picky review💯💪 Lets goooo
Cheers BJ!
Blackening fan here 🙋
Let's go!
Thanks - thankfully your haircut, unlike Sampson's has not made you loose your touch
Would like to see a comparison between buds 3 pro and tour pro 3.
Do Brasil um grande abraço.
Can you do the sony link buds fit next?
On your app you are missing many features that are needed for a full review. I'm pretty disappointed....
@pickyaudio will do, thanks!
Can you review Jbl Tour Pro 3?
AirPods are #1 in sales and the most popular earbuds so Samsung copied Apple. They actually did a good job though…these get loud, have good bass, and sound good. Strange twist…they sound the best on iPhone with Apple Music
So im trying to decide between the pixel buds pro 2 and the galaxy buds pro 3
( I Have a Samsung phone 2 missing pairs of pixel buds pro and a pair of galaxy buds pro ( the old ones)
I always preferred the controls of pixel buds (had the pixel buds 2 (2020)) to Samsung controls because they had volume control up and down on both earbuds they also always fit better than my galaxy buds pro,
Im stuck because i like the pixel buds pro 2 because they are smaller, have better battery life, and a speaker in the case to find it if lost (last two pairs of pros fell flat off the face of the earth out of nowhere so would make it easier to find them) what i dont like is the fact that im missing features because im on a s22 ultra and dont plan on switching to a pixel,
On the other hand the galaxy buds 3 pro now seem to have the features of the pixel buds and more (volume controlls, extra features, and on top low latency gaming mode (assuming they are as good as the og buds pro), the better ambient mode controls (og buds pro beat my puxel buds pro by a longshot so id assume it would be similar), but Samsung is as trusted (had issues with support on my buds pro), doesnt have a speaker in the case if lost
With all of that taken into account what would you recommend i go with of the two choices price isnt an issue between the two because they are so close
your max db value measurement is definitely wrong. 120 db is loudness of strong pa systems when you sit in 1 meter of them
Samsung wants to be Apple so bad.
Doesn’t everyone?
nice cut!
Also could you please make a picky review on the SoundPEATS breezy open ear buds? Thanks!
Nice!
Bravo
You so bloody handsome 😍
Yag
Great Picky honest work like always. Now if only Apple would give us a fully customizable EQ and stop being a bunch of stubborn assholes…lol Thanks for sharing your thoughts 💯💪👍
Agreed!
Opposite experience the most comfortable buds I've ever had. I can wear them for hours.
@Fozzee.1970 good for you
Alright
totally disagree...you have ranked one plus buds pro 3 at the first place...one plus buds are not even durable and hardly last for a year...they are nowhere compared to galaxy buds 3 pro
L
Thanks for the review but i dont think this was the best review you have done. You sounded annoyed though most of the beginning of it and you where to me being more hard on these then others you have reviewed. But i guess thats what happens when someone that what you said in the apple family thinks when they get samsung products. Some of the nit picking you did on these you didn't do on others. Im just saying.
👎👎
@pickyaudio one question i have a s24ultra should i buy the oneplus buds pro 3 or another earphone i want mostly to do calls and hear music
One plus buds pro 3 are amazing on s24 ultra. Trust me!!
