I hope you find a game worth playing. Dont buy any puzzle games because we need to avoid tiny cheap game developers. Only get ones worth getting. Do your review research first :)
Sony should simply render a 3D scene with objects and text placed at different distances, then allow users to experience said scene at different IPD values, allowing them to then choose the setting the users feel is the best/sharpest. I don't get it why they didn't do it that way instead of the clumsy eye camera measuring mess..
Thanks for this, I initially did it using the camera shots but when I actually measured the distance it was way off. Definitely improves the feeling of the objects and environments being the "right" size.
Topic suggestion: There's a whole bunch of older games that has had VR added to it to some extent, but the Playstation Store makes it impossible to find since they're not marked as VR. A list of those would be nice. Trackmania Turbo has a whole bunch of levels just for VR. 'Race the Sun' did not support it initially but does now. I'm sure I'm missing a heap of them.
Your amazing frank, and my all time favorite psvr content reviewer or youtuber, so thank you so very much for all your videos and keep it up man, and also good luck with the big move bud...
Frank is like a bottle of Vino he gets better with time. And that FrankShow remix at the end was fire lol! Keep it up Franky Boy the vr community would be lost with you.
Frank, You’re gonna end up so famous in the future when VR is at its best, even more so than you are now. Every VR game I’ve played online, all I hear is “The Frank show whhaaaatt” Haha You the man, keep doing what you’re doing, I mean come on!
I, for one, love your ugly mug, Frank! Just bought a PSVR on Black Friday and your videos have been a fantastic help so far! (As well as being criminally entertaining, of course.)
Hi, Frank, thank you sooooooo much for this tutorial! I gladly subscribe. One question please. I'm just a newbie to VR. I'm playing the Inpatient, and the picture still has flicker and slight blurriness and due to that nowhere as clear as I see it on my HDTV. Should I continue looking for better Eye-to-Eye Distance? Or is the picture is supposed to be that way? Thank you!
I don't see how changing the distance between the eyes can affects the optics of the set. In my case, I get the best image sharpness by pressing the set about 4mm in my face with the head strap tightened. Changing the distance between the eyeballs only changes the area of the image that the console software will blur to create the impression of a deeper image . The only solution to the problem of the lack of sharpness of the image is the use of adjustable optics as in traditional binoculars, but it seems that due to the costs SONY decided to use fixed focal length optics as if everyone in the world had the same eyesight.
The one focus fits all design of the PSVR is its single greatest design flaw. Even after doing all these steps, at best you'll get an image that's "more in focus than not." The next generation PSVR absolutely, positively has to have individual focus adjustment diopters for each eye.
@@selftaughtinfection really don't get why people are complaining about shit. There is obviously a reason why I'm watching this video to help with the blurry effect. So fuck of and let the people fix the blur it clearly works for some and not others.
@@FrankWasTaken Frank, please help - because I use only ONE EYE! And no matter what values I use (even any extreeme) it makes zero difference... But it is horribly blurry, in center it is like 360p and edges are like 240p - is it like that for all one eyed people or is my pavr faulty? Btw, when I press my phone screen all the way into my eye I can see it perfecty crisp, but PSVR has these silly lenses that prevent me from getting the screen any closer.
Wow, i got a psvr a year ago and a few months ago when i wanted to play some beat saber, the psvr screen had green lines moving like im playing on a 1990 tv
Why not take the picture of your face, and then adjust the sliders to match the center of your pupil as suggested? That works fine, and less of a headache.
Tony Boss ipd doesnt affect the location of the screens whatsoever. The screens are in a fixed position. That cant be moved at all. Unless you yourself take the headset apart and physically modify it to your liking. Ipd has nothing to do with the the screens locations. If it did it wouldnt be called ipd. I would be called isd
Fun presentation, I still feel like I took a bad acid after 25 min of use, I had Vive VR with better tracking ... same deal, the tech is simply not ready, I cannot wait to see next gen of VR

Hey Frank your videos are great! You have helped with PSVR headset tracking, you have helped with PSVR headset image. Can you go over the move controllers? I have noticed on Beat Saber one controller does not "feel" in line with the light saber. Also, I have noticed my left arm in Creed tends to stretch and wobble sometimes. Not sure if that is a game or a controller issue but, if there is a way to test or calibrate the move controller, you are my go to guy! Thanks again for the channel.
Hey, I found it! I was watching your vid on the headset position and there it was!.... Right below the headset was the link for controllers both shock and move! It also took care of the stretchy arm and beat saber feeling off. Thanks again for the videos!
Thanks for the video!!! I'm confused about what the chart is and what it's for? (Ex. Xmm y to the right). What is to the right? Is that a setting to enter?
This is great and all. But i think im gonna move to oculus quest. I hate the "pay money to get 360 degree tracking" like I already payed $300 for this.
Hi I just got a vr off the Facebook market place and I’ve try 2 times now setting it up and when it’s all ready its not HD when I put the headset on, I thought it would be really clear like what’s yours like when I look on RUclips and see there videos it’s really clear
I just got a psvr last week and you have been helping me every step of the way getting through the complicated party. Thank you!

Not gonna lie, the entire psvr design is horrible compared to the quest and htc vive.
I adjusted my actual eyeballs. 100% improvement. OUCH!!!
Uhhhh…
so annoying form of explaining something
I wanna die but I need to watch this

Just saying. Adjusting Ipd doesnt effect sharpness. It clearly states on the ps4 what it does. It adjusts scale of objects within the world

They should just add a slider(for IPD). I mean come on 🤣
campos3452 has to be a good slider. Not a slider that slides easily when moving my head and grabbing the headset, etc.

PSVR's IPD setting doesn't sharpen your image it changes the scale of objects, also don't do drugs.
It can, ipd is the distance of the 2 screens, if they too close or far for you it looks blurry
