Great video Ryan! What camera did you use to shoot the BTS/POV? Was it a GoPro 10 on a chest mount? Love your work, keep it up 👌
I used a insta 360 on chest mount, pretty good because you can track stuff really easily before you export and you never miss a shot
What are settings used in Iphone?
When I click the share sheet button top right, I have an option for “RUclips & Facebook” but can’t specify codecs. Is this setting ok to use for RUclips? Or is the method shown here for apple devices preferred? Thanks.

Great video Ryan!! I have a question though. I use primer pro for like 97 percent of my video editing as a photographer / videographer. Never touched final cut, but I believe knowledge of all tools is essential. When you shoot/ record your b-roll / footage. Do you pre-plan your transitions, or does final cut give you a lot of Leeway/room to create / mess around ? And how hard is it to use 🤔

Thanks! I think In camera transitions have to be planned to look good. Although once you learn to film in a way geared towards transitions, like panning in and out of shots, frame blocking etc it becomes second nature and you can shoot with less preparation and still have great shots to edit with. As for post production transitions, fcp is limited compared to Adobe ae/pro due to having less control over video parameters, if you want to get into vfx then stick with Adobe but if your more into cinematography and in camera transitions then fcp is good enough. The main advantage to fcp in my opinion is the speed of editing and rendering
I think any editing program becomes easy and fast to use once you practice and get good at it

I’m using LumaFusion thinking about buying Final Cut after seeing this. But when I speed it up ,I’m filming 60fps and using gimbal, it still seems choppy? Doesn’t look like the smooth pull in and out that you do
