We are fulltime RVers and just added the T-Mobile Home Entertainment to our system and have liked it so far but we are still new to it. Thanks for sharing.
I don't think you can use it in an RV. When Tmobile sees that you're using it at a location other than the address you signed up with they'll cancel your account.
I live out in the country and I'm getting speeds of up to 200 MB. I just got the service 10 days ago and it is amazing!👍🏽💯. Instead of being on a waiting list you can just go into a T-Mobile store and they will sign you up on the spot no matter where you live. They said service wasn't available in my area but when I went in the store I got signed up and here I am.😊
@@garagegeekguy The only reason I found out that I could actually get it in the store without waiting is because I happen to call a local T-Mobile store
That’s exactly how I got my service 😀. My address wasn’t approved but store said take this gateway home and try it out. Tried it and worked great. So decided to keep the service.
This is awesome. We have T-Mobile phones. I wonder if this will be like the phone service. It is "unlimited" but after a certain amount of use they slow down your service until you pay your bill again. Not a huge issue but its annoying for a day or two of the month. I will be looking forward to see your update on it.
I know exactly what you are talking about but is not that kind of unlimited although they do say in the fine print that the speeds will fluctuate based on the load on whatever tower you are connected to and mobile users will get preference. Time will tell.
It’s truly unlimited (they are using otherwise non used spectrum) I’ve had it for 5 months now, on average I’m using 1tb a month, not including my phones usage, my cable company for the same speeds roughly and 90 a month had a 1.5 TB cap and was actually worse than fwa.
I just got my t mobile home internet as well the speed fast ok to fast depending on the time of the day. I was paying spectrum almost 105.94 that was high and they do not give any promo to existing customer only new. Now with T mobile home internet paying only 50 dollars an month that a good price and don't have to rely on a technician to put the service in which now I can do it all my self.
You are supposed to call and get approval to move it, they don't want too many of these operating off of a given tower I think. Hence the waiting lists and staged rollout. Will it work if I just go to another location? I really don't know.
Hello! I just got it two days ago! It's running well for me! 550 to 640 mbps. (In a country where they don't haven't released it yet.) Got the latest model. I saw that with the previous models, you could get the Data Stats (Usage) through the gateway IP. However, there is no such option on the new panel/menu. Have you read whether or not it's possible to see those numbers with the new gateway model? Thanks!
I had such bad internet service and had no other choice. I was stuck at 5mbps for years and was less than what I had previously. I'm at 400mbps now as well after they finally up graded the area😭😭😁
same with me I had total highspeed internet its a local thing its just in missouri. I only got 5mbps but it was mostly staying at 0.89 or either 1mbps most the time. Now I get 370 with t mobile and I live in the woods lol not far from the main road though but at least 15 miles from 2 of my towns that are between me.
Everyone in the country gets better speeds than the city. I tried the home internet in nyc and the tower is half a mile away and i cant get more than 8 mb which is garbage. If im in front of the tower i get 1300 mb so the signal sucks and has no range.
That’s the highest I’ve seen with the gateway being connected to an outside waveform antenna. Highest I’ve ever gotten was 656 down (SoCal city) and that’s with 2 bars (weak). I occasionally get 3 bars (good) but NEVER 4 bars (very good). Had it for 19 months and it’s still kicks butt.

So is this portable? Can you take it anywhere?
