Sora to be clear, I enjoy the original. I just enjoy Garik’s cover more. The way I chose to express that, was clearly hypothetical, considering how obvious it is that this is not a real quote from Tetsuya Nomura.

@@789syrus789 honestly the edm is just used so poorly, as edm is meant to be used as a beat, mostly for when you don't have drums. That's why most like this more, plus it takes a lot more work to make an instrumental song than an edm song composed of just edm, one good example for that is when thedooo made farts, literal farts, into megalovania in just 3 hours compared to songs that may have taken full days or weeks.
I'm don't usually listen to metal tracks, but this is something else! You're so talented Garik, it really sounds amazing! :)

As much as I always love the original themes from the Kingdom Hearts series, this cover improves from the original by just not having the choppy hip hop sections I thought distracted from the incredible opening movie.

The original song never really got me, but here I am listening to your version over and over again. That new rhythm you created for the main theme gives much more intensity to it in my opinion. And the powerful solo is the cherry on top. Thank you for this fantastic cover.

I am glad you opened up to us for the first time to talk about something so personal and important to you. I don't follow you on other social media and tbh, kinda forgot this channel a bit in this whole RUclips sea of content. But it reminded me of when I first encountered it and thought it was so cool, you adding your spirit and a whole new meaning to the infamous songs of the KH series. Secondly, it is kinda heartbreaking to know it is bad news you talk about, but again, thank you for opening up. Maybe there isn't much we can do from the distance, but we are here for you, whether your making metal covers or vlogs about your personal life. Although I don't understand what clinical depression feels like, I do get the feeling of going through hard times and losing interest in what once made you so happy and motivated. And oh boy does that suck. However, please, and I know it's difficult not to, but please don't be so harsh on yourself, be loving and understanding, cause I've noticed you kinda blame yourself over the breakup. Things never go as we expect to, and there are hundreds of reasons why a relationship could not work. Having depression isn't something easy and it's not something you decided, so you don't have to make up excuses about how you could have "escaped the hole" when you have a mental disorder. About creativity and motivation, I am so sad to hear about it, losing touch with people, with your favorite games and hobbies is despairing and makes you feel dull. But I also feel you have the determination and tools to fight back and regain your mental health. I wish you the best of the lucks, much strength and hope to hear from you again. Take care💖
