Just sent a chat to Partify, as I just ordered (2) bumpers. The chat stated: Hello, Yes, we do ship all of our bumpers unfolded since March of this year. Best, Tyler Partify Team 12:32 PM
@Motorcycle_Man 😆 🤣 I'm considering buying a bumper from them I have been reading that they quality's are better however been seeing a bunch of bumpy paint. Also there shipping cost is outrages half of the value of the bumper!! I was considering rockauto they have a bumper for 142.79 plus shipping..
Wish I would’ve seen this review sooner. I’m very anti-body shop since they’re often a bit careless with your interior (getting dust & other materials in the vehicles) and in some cases even causing minor dents (speaking from experience. Never returned to the shop since). However, I decided to go with Partify for my front bumper on a 2019 Mazda MX-5. They claim the bumper is unfolded & OEM so I hope it fits well when it does arrive. I hope I don’t regret this as they’re genuinely fighting me tooth & nail to cancel the order. If this doesn’t work, god knows what I’ll do since this is pricey.
@S3bby2001 i doubt the bumper is oem mazda, mine definitely wasn't oem, you'll be able to tell by the markings on it. And yes apparently they don't fold them anymore, I was one of the unlucky people that bought a bumper before they started sending them unfolded. And I think they changed their policy due to how many issues they were having. Although this is a much cheaper out than the body shop, I was pretty disappointed because they talked themselves up pretty highly.
@@Motorcycle_Man exactly what I thought- I hope it’s OEM, but if it’s not that’s a way for me to cling onto a charge-back with my CC. Since the merchant is not being honest. Unfortunately I’m kinda stuck with waiting for the product. Once it gets here, I’ll comment what I think. Hopefully this bumper is good enough for me to not go through the haggle of talking to my bank so … fingers crossed. Their customer support is abysmal as well- they answer quickly but they’re very much on the defensive & not that easy to budge out a refund
How much was the shipping, Under their shipping it show that bumper will come unfold and that it will guarantee that it will get delivered without any damage, i have the option to pay 182 on just shipping
Yes my shipping was like $170, It did come unfolded pretty nice. But the paint job was horrible on mine as you can see so its a gamble. But if something is bad, you should be able to get a refund if you fight with them.
dude im glad i didnt pay over 300 for a painted one i wouldve been pissed but ya i just bought one and mine has vent slots at bottem which are creased badly not coming out its bs ill have to shape it with bondo glass and not to mention my 2 fender cam with 3 dents on each one
@@Motorcycle_Man Well, just ordered one so I guess I will see if they folding things that they explicitly say that they are not going to fold. Not sure that an A4 front bumper could actually be folded in any way
Wow that is very weird, If you go on any website and look at their reviews, it's constantly customers talking about folded bumpers. But maybe There's something about your pumper that doesn't allow it to be folded
@@TB-ud4iy paint was done decently, fit great. Color is a little off, but car is 17 years old so there is no way you are going to match a metallic color perfect unless you blend into fenders.
@jeremyfancher yeah brother, its bad... Not to mention I ordered two pieces in the same order, I got two different shades of color, and two different quality paint jobs... Tell me how that makes any sense
Still on the fence on this, not off to a good start with a couple of these bumper cover guys, my concern is if you can’t get them on the phone or have them return a call just to respond to your inquiry, what would you do if you order it and you have a problem, like cracking, etc blemish’s or anything. I won’t deal with a company that doesn’t want anything to do with me. Once they get your money. It’s on to the next victim. No thanks
Yeah honestly it's a gamble with these folks Some people have good experiences a lot of people don't. I really had to fight to get a refund. And the quality that I was served was not good at all. Apparently they don't fold the bumpers anymore which is a step in the right direction, but stilll...
What do you care. 100% refund then field destroy the part and move on. They obviously have so little money into the parts. They can lose on some and make mad profit on kept orders. Personally the work was not good but offering 100% refund with you having to do nothing but take out the trash. I would try them again.
I guess , but i literally had to fight to even get them to offer that much of a refund. And they dont even want to fix their shitty work. They have zero quality control, how do u have two items in the same order but paint them completely different shades of color?😅🤣 And that trash in the paint? Gotta be the laziest paint man ever, he was like oops, oh well!🤣
To be honest and not sticking up for them it is horrible I'm checking my buddy wants to order one so thank you for doing this but shooting plastic and metal do have a different color lay can shoot both at same time will have a different look not sure why I've shot black primer and black plastic and zero match just shades off for some stupid reason
I see what you are saying, but these folks are supposed to be professionals, they should know that metal and plastic will come out differently and they should know how to account for that. Or atleast i would think so... Thanks for your input 👍 🙂
Very very POOR Quality, they sent me two parts both painted different shades of color in the same order. Thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment
So seems you dont know much about paint and the painting process. So those bumps as you call them is called orange peel. You asked them to paint it not finish it for you. Look up how to finish paint and you can make it right.
@billyreynolds807 you are absolutely wrong. I know what orange peel is, the paint isnt textured like that. It literally has chunks and debris (trash) in the paint because their painting environment sucks and they were rushing and didn't finish correctly or care enough. Why on earth would they send out a product thats not finished? Nowhere on their website does it say that extra steps need to be done to complete the bumper. And the fender i ordered was in perfect condition but this bumper was GARBAGE. I ordered a Painted bumper because i dont have time to wet sand and buff and polish and wax. I'm perfectly capable of doing all those things, but I dont have the time or proper environment to do so Thats why I paid them. Dont defend their laziness
@@Motorcycle_Man I am not defending anyone, but I am saying you get what you pay for, and they are very cheap. Its like going to earl shieb or maaco and expecting their $500.00 paint job to be perfect. Even in your video you call it orange peel. As far as trash in the paint. Hey it happens. I get it you are unhappy with it but I will tell you I have shot a car under a carport and then wet sanded and buffed out all of it. It just takes time. I guess I responded because I dont get people like you. I mean if the part was broken ok I get it. But minor imperfections that can be fixed?? The fact is if you would have sent your car to the body shop it would cost you five to eight grand on those two parts. Instead you got it for a fraction of that. One other note you said that no where on their website does it say the part needs to be finished out. Well you are right. However no where on their site does it say they will finish it out either. It just says painted.
@josephreeves9896 Yeah I don't understand that guy's comment, Hours under the impression that I was ordering a fully ready to go bumper, Not something that I had to send fix prepare and paint on my own. If that was the case I wouldn't just gotta primered bumper and done it myself.

Is the paint better quality?
Hopefully 🤣🤣

They probably come unfolded now. My front and back bumpers both came in 2 big separate boxes. Got them about 2 weeks ago

Strange since Partify talks about how they do not fold their bumpers on their website.
Really? Thats odd because its the only way they do it.
Read reviews anywhere, most of them are complaining about the folded bumper

That’s funny because it’s usually WAY harder to match paint on a bumper. And they mess up on the easiest part of a car lol
