Hi there. Just coming home from The Getaway campsite and like you say is really lovely. Now with showers and 3 toilet's. Place lovely but the owner is a nightmare. Giving out to everyone except for the ones who got the pods. No one at the gate to open gate for you. We rang the number on gate and she told us to put our tent wherever we like it, so we did. After tent (big tent and gazebo) was up and all sorted including cocker, chairs, table etc she come and said that we have to move because she didn't know we have a tent (was mentioned on reservation and by phone) and she didn't want the people from the pods who pay 200e a night to look at "that" (like she said) was far from the pods but. Many other things. One couple with a trailer tent was told that she doesn't like trailer tents with awnings. They told her that every trailer tent have one. If you want to light the fire in the fire pit you have to buy the logs from her so we did. 5 euros a small bag that burn in 10 minutes. So we went and got another one and she told us not to stay in the fire pit for to long. This was 7.30 evening. Many other things i'm not gonna talk about here or i spend my day talking and giving out because believe me is many other things to talk about. She doesn't know a thing about campers or tents. Like i said place is gorgeous but she should go home and stay there and leave someone run the place for her. If you ok with her giving out to you go if not AVOID. AVOID Safe traveling's
Hi Jackie I'm sorry that I so clearly annoyed you but we got our wires crossed when you arrived. As you know from our original conversation, we are actually a Motorhome and Glamping site that takes a couple of none electric small tents in the summer just as an add on, as people are always asking I tried to help you out and let you use the Motorhome pitch for your tent and it will be the last time I do this because of what's happened here. By the way we paid the same money as a camper for the plot . Never went to any campsite (and over the years many) where is no one to open the gate or at the gate for you. We afraid to walk or do anything because we afraid you give out Beautiful place without you sorry. So, if you have a tent do not go there because you not welcome and you will be looked in a bad way. The price is only €20 for a unit and 2 adults and €3 ehu that's good pricing for a new still in development campsite ..... its only my opinion (and some agree with me) but that's a good price !!! thanks for watching

Nice Review Guys, A dog run is fantastic. Looks absolutely idyllic and peaceful. Why are no caravans welcome? Pity to exclude people who do not have the means to own a Motorhome. If that policy changed we would be there in a heartbeat.
yea the dog area is a plus in my book but the caravan thing is all about planning The Getaway only applied for planning for motorhomes seemingly there is a difference between a motorhome park & campsite ...thanks for watching
