Carolina reaper fun fact:
When I shot my Mealworms vs Carolina Reaper video, even the air was spicy around them.
#timelapse #carolinareaperchallenge #photoowl #carolina
Amazing how no fungi mad enough to try eating them 😊
That capsaicin is potent
No little flies either. 😀
They probably died
69 👍
Ok
So spicy not even bacteria will touch it
Try to put a few maggots next time and let's see if they would challenge the Scoville scales
It was done with mealworms. Yes, they didn't eat it
It makes sense when you think about it. Capsaicin has anti-microbial properties, so it's not surprising it takes a long time for a carolina reaper to rot. They're essentially self embalmed with capsaicin.
Interesting... so if I have a bunch of capsaicin put into me when I die it'll basically be environmentally friendly embalming?
Crazy how much longer the left one looked good in comparison to the middle one.
The best comments will be pinned, just like last time! Let's see!
Interesting there wasn't a single insect this time! Was the container fully sealed this time or was it because the capsaicin was keeping any. Bugs from going anywhere near?
I love that you kept in the android notification sound, it makes me audibly giggle every time I hear it😂
i think this is a good lesson on why preservatives are not inherently bad, and plenty of them arent even remotely artificial. the world is full of things that try to avoid decomposition without becoming outright toxic to other life, its no surprise nor tragedy when we adopt that into our technology
It only becomes bad when it isn't environmentally friendly and directly harms nature, in my opinion. Although if you have allergies that make it so you can't eat certain preservatives, then probably avoid eating those. (My mom does. She can't drink most juices anymore because of added citric acid, which is a preservative in some foods.)
Imagine if we took one photo of ourselves every day over the course of five years, or a decade and made a video with them. It would probably be scary. Superb video by the way, as always.
People have literally been doing that for decades now.
They don't go bad ... Only deadlier!!! 🌬️🔥🥵🎉
2:21 😂dude got me for sure, I had to check why I'm not getting a notification but I heard a sound. Aight, time to change my notifications tone.
Don’t worry guys this is edible! And no I’m not lying did y’all see these dried peppers in the supermarket? I have
I'm sure the left one is still edible, the other two looks too gray to be healthy.
I had one of these recently. My stomach looked like a day 100 pepper afterwards for an hour or so.
It's an experience for sure. Mouth doesn't burn that much (it hurts, but goes away fast), "voiding" after the ordeal is no big deal, but the inferno in the stomach makes you feel really ill. Then it goes away with no trace.
Thats interesting. Mealworms can eat Carolina reapers like apples, but mold cant
One of them look like a mini Spiciest pumpkin
0:11 Specifying the temperature would be a nice addition to that info (going to guess it was ~70*F?)
Also for the word stan marsh called he couldn't stop shouting
HOT HOT HOT HOT!!! HOT!!!!! HOT!!!!!!!!!
Pretty brave handling the pepper with your bare hands.
Nah, as long as you don't touch the insides, you'll be fine. The seeds in most spicy peppers are what has the most capsaicin.
Thanks! You're awesome!
Well since you mentioned it now I have to look up pepper X lol
which one do you think will survive longest ?
People: 2nd or 3rd. 1st won't last long
1st:🗿
you made maracas!
Why did it look kinda appetizing
2 not so quick this time
not even your absolute mosquitoes tried
Kind of interesting how a hole formed in the center pepper almost immediately. I wonder why that happened and why no others showed up?
whyyyyy fuckin algorithm not giving me these gud vids anymore :((
Most peppers will dry out like this
not so hot NOW are ya?
i wonder if dried carolina reaper tastes much hotter than the freshly picked ones
You would think it would have a more intense heat.
ive had both. i thought it was mostly the same. the fresh ones felt a bit more hot. tho there was a large time gap between consuming both types
The Carolina Reaper Chili is actually 2.2 million
Comment for the phonegorithm
Can try McDonald burger next🙂
I wanna eat one right now....
Could you handle it?
@@PhotoOwl i would scream in pain, but that is why i like chillies haha
Now do the same but add mealworms to it

Könnyen meglehet, hogy hamarosan az is lesz
Carolina Creepers
🥁
The funny thing is that I got an ad for a pizza-restaurant at the end of the video 😐
It seems in this case: Mealworms > Fungi. Mealworms can handle those peppers much better than fungi !
Red hot time lapse.
