great lesson. i practice my scales every day. G arpeggio is the only one that hangs me up. I also struggle with note recognition. I only know the note if i am counting the lines but of course when you are playing a song you dont have time to be counting lines. do you have any tips on how to memorize the notes?
Hey. There would be no need to memorize notes. Start with pieces, tunes, or exercises that are very basic. Could be as simple as reading just the notes on a string. Do those over and over, before moving to the next level. You'll realize you'll get more familiar with the notes, without active memorization

I use solfeggio and it helps me memorize the notes
