Dear Mr. Ujiie Sama! I don´t undestand your nativ language japanish but It´s allways a pleasure to see you testing out Hardware. You play with so much fun and joy. It´s verry good to read subtitel in english so I know what your talking about. Thank you verry verry much Sir. a friend from Germany - Stefan
I have the MOXF8 and never knew it could do all of those things. I just used it for live performances. Pianos, EP and strings were all I used. I need to dig into this amazing workstation. Great video
JimBobJrJackson Earmonkey There is a distinct Japanese sound to many of his demos. Not quite sure how to explain it. It's the timber of the sounds, and the melodies. Always reminds me of anime from the 80s and 90s. Love it.
Maybe this is because most of Japanese popular music use jazz chords, so it's very distinctive. And also maybe because all japanese video game music were made with japanese synthesizers
The Japanese have a very delicate taste for music. From Anime to video games,to instrumental hip hop,to jazz.Somehow it''s very recognisable whatever the genre
I am very impressed with this synthesizer. It only cost 999 euros and it's so feature rich, it's incredible. It's ironic because in the late 80s I was a Roland guy, I then stopped playing keys for 25 years. Last year I needed to do some composing for a film I made, so I bought two yamaha's. A psr 770 (excellent keyboard) and this MoxF6, both are so impressive. I love the realistic instrument samples on the 770 and I love the synth sounds and the edit-ability of the MoxF. And sub 1000 euros this is probably one of the best synths you can get.
Well, I had listened to this on my other computer and was so impressed I signed in on mobile just to post this commet. UJIEE, you are a phenomenon. I actually was looking at a F 08 and have now cemented my buy to this board. ... Excellent skills... It is one thing to be an excellent player. .. and another to be able to share your passion as you do... Bravo.... Just excellent. ... Thank you
As always, it's a pleasure to hear you demonstrate an instrument. Your range of styles and your apparent understanding of music theory is what elevates this beyond the mere technical features. Keep up the great work!
Finally subscribed :) Long overdue ... By far the best keyboard demos in the net ...I find myself watching this guy's demos even over kit I'm not primarily interested in ...great stuff
I've just got one of these and its remarkable compared to the older stuff I've also got, its going to take years to fully explore what can be done on it
great review/video. You did a great job of explaining. I just purchased an MOXF8 and am pretty intimidated with all its capability. I guess it takes some time and patience. I am initially having a tough time getting an acoustic piano sound I like. They always sound better on RUclips than on my real keyboard.
To be honest, I have a MOXF8 and I don't think that the acoustic pianos are that great. They sound fine and they're ok for the stage, but they don't feel very responsive or expressive. Maybe it's the number of sample layers per key or maybe it's the two-sensor system on the keyboard action. Either way, a stage piano like my Roland RD-2000 is way way better. Even more expensive syths like the Korg Krome or Yamaha Montage have better, more expressive acoustic pianos. That's not to cut down the MOXF, which in general is a fine board, but don't expect the acoustic pianos to rival an expensive stage piano like a Yamaha CP-4 or Roland RD.
Dear UJ. We are grouop of musicians from Europe and we watch with pleasure your demonstrations. Can you please show us demonstration of legend Farfisa F1 ( styles and sounds ) , General music S3 turbo and Technics SX KN 7000 in the way how you make it perfectly. Thank you in advance.
Sounds Awesome and the functionality is superb, but Arrrrrggggggh, for my personal interest I would have liked to see some functionality with the classic FM synthesis engine as an area of possibility. There are plenty of those machines still going around so I can't complain too much and using FM online with software is also possible.
Wow, love this synth but your playing is sublime.. amazing stuff, thanks for such comprehensive reviews. Now to sell my S90SX for the 76 key of this. So much lighter!!
UJ... Your demos are absolutely amazing! I'm looking at a MOXF8. Sound-wise do you prefer this over the Roland Integra 7? I don't really need the sequencer in the MOXF8 but am looking to add new sounds to my setup. Integra 7 or MOXF8? Keep up the great work!
I have an Intgra-7 and MOXF8 and it's a tough call, as both sound excellent. Try a Roland FA-08, which is the keyboard version of the Integra-7. I think that the Yamaha is a better value, and the expansion by flash board is nice. It's also more portable. And the arpeggiato and pattern modes are much more powerful than what Roland has. But some sounds on the Integra-7 like the pianos, especially are maybe a little better. Just try them yourself and see which suits your style better.
Why does Yamaha not make 76 key version? And Korg is making 73 keys now instead of 76 key :( and mini keys even worse :(( So sad ;( 61 too small. 88 key for piano.
The 88-key version is still pretty cheap, it only weighs 15 kilos and it's much shorter and easier to carry than most 88-keys boards. In fact, it's no longer than most 76-key models. Check out the MOXF8 and it will probably work for you. Oh, and I totally agree on mini-keys--they're awful! The whole Yamaha Reface series used them and some Korg models and all of them are useless.

I love UJIIE demos. And they always make me feel like I'm playing a Nintendo game.

Daniel Davis The Japanese Fusion Sound is what I'd call it. Reminds me of some of Dimension's early work.
***** Totally! My buddy was a producer for an old Japanese fusion band called Krysler and Corp., and I hear that sound.

That 'New Grunge' performance was awesome. "Just the two of us" has a dark lounge feel to it. Sweet !
Não tem como negar que as melhores demonstrações de teclado do mundo são do Sr. Ujiie.
This guy is just great. Best and most enthusiastic demo of the MOXF6 I have seen. It convinced me to buy one.
I don't understand a single word from this amazing guy but I like what he says.

Very good Mr Ujiie...my pleasure to see you here from brazil!!!
I've just got one of these and its remarkable compared to the older stuff I've also got, its going to take years to fully explore what can be done on it
Such as? Can you program sounds through it - create custom leads from raw sin or pcm sine and blend 2 wave forms etc? Can you do shit like that?
Mr. Ujiie is awesome. Great performance. After this I will defenetley go out and by one of these! ☺️
Man this guy just simplified everything for me.
This guy's awesome!

mmmm, the only thing I can think of is your sound system might not be as crisp as his. the sounds should be the same.
+Dave Myers What speakers/headphones do you use?
I just have a pair of monster headphones.
Melvin Battle Ahh, well get an amp and a set of either studio monitors or audiophile type headphones, and then it will sound much better.

what a pity, there is no moxf7!!
excellent!!!! suuugoieee!
You're awesome Kat! another great performance/demo from a consummate pro. I need to pick one of these up in lieu of the Motif XF.
I Love this guy. So good and likeáble. Keep on The Good Work.

Im really satisfied with my MOXF6 aswell!.
The onboard sequencer makes it so fast to create songs!.
You can use 4 of them from a bank of 7000+
Cool demo!

***** is there a MOXF 76 key version available? I don't think so, there's only MOXF6 61 keys & MOXF8 88 keys. But you're right, so much lighter!!
Yash Chauhan Thats a shame, 61 it is then!
***** I have it, it's really good. The learning curve is tough but once you can use it well you'll love it.
It would be nice to have UJ at the next Musikmesse in Frankfurt.
You amazing than the instrument
涙ちょちょぎれちゃう
Респект и уважение!
BRAVISSIMO!!!
Great demo. May i ask what active speakers are you using for the keyboard sound? Tks.

YAMAHA MOXF6 OR ROLAND FA 06???
good
カッツの解説はとても分かり易いし
面白い
cool
The guitar sound is on point......
「なんと言っても」口癖www
The display has the same font as the ex5s!
I'm still not sure what "UJ" means. He mentions "Rhodes"-something?
His name is Ujie, so it's just short for that. He did the Rhodes patch himself, so it's "Ujie's Rhodes" or "UJ*Rhodes" for short.
sound at 5:35 would be perfect for some neo soul.
someone could download these sounds
13:30 hold on... Is he talking about the Dulcimer???
Why not in english?
probably because they are Japanese
What actual sounds can this make apart these typical synth ones?
Homie looks like Jong Jong from avatar
This thing is SO fucking cheap for what it offers.
want to buy a keyboard....
anybody sellin their used boards at low prices?
