Hiking Enchanted Rock with my Family

- My wife, son, parents, and I went to Enchanted Rock in mid-September. It was a beautiful day for a hike. We all had a wonderful time, first stoping at Cooper's BBQ in Llano, then heading to Fredericksburg after.

Is this the first time for the whole gang to hike together? Awesome! The last time I did Enchanted Rock, my buddy and I stopped at Cooper’s after! Stuffed ourselves, then realized we had a 4 hour trip ahead of us back to Houston!! Ugh!!! Starbucks made a killing on us that night!! HA!!
Hi Anthony, we all actually hiked together once in Arizona where my parents live. It seems like Cooper's is a popular spot. I didn't know about it until my wife's friend directed us there on a previous visit to Enchanted rock. I should have started the video there! Yeah, it would be tough to drive back after eating a lot of meat. I know I get tired when I do that. Thanks for watching!
I love Enchanted Rock! Planning on making the trip there in the next week or two and spending some time in Fredericksburg as well. I've been to Cooper's before - it used to be one of my grandma's favorite lunch spots when we lived in that area.
Hi Pictured Grace, yes it's a great place. I enjoy going there, both to train and to just have a relaxing hike like this one. I like Cooper's a lot too, and I think that is the real reason my wife wanted to go! Fredericksburg is also a nice town. Enjoy your time there and thanks for watching!
Looked like a good time. The only time we've been to Enchanted Rock, my oldest son was maybe just a little bigger than your son. I remember trying to chase him all over the place. I see you can relate. I should be headed there again in November for a short overnight trip.
Hi Cameron, yes it was fun. Most of the time I carried my son, so I didn't have to chase him too much! I've been thinking about heading out there again soon but I don't know when. You should have a fun trip - it's a great place.
