I would mention when climbing to the summit at Enchanted Rock to bring a headlamp. There is a "Talus" cave on the back of the summit.

We need to do Echo Canyon Trail next time we go back. Looked cool. 👍 No dogs pooping on the summit? 😁 2:43 get to the choppa! 😀 My least favorite part of that park are the giant red ants at the campground that hurt like heck. 🙃 Nice montage and review. 👍

Echo Canyon Trail was legit. We always have a keen eye for the clearing in the grass where those giant red ants are making there home.

Bummer about the water shortage, but atleast they opened the bathrooms up in the evening oi take showers. Love the hiking! Love that y'all still break out the ten5 from time to time! See you again soon! 👋 Ashley from Adventure Encounters

It's weird, I go through a tent trip and my back hurts and I think, "why do I do this?" and then a month later, I'm like, "I want to go tent camping again." LOL. I'm a glutton for punishment I suppose. Thanks for watching. 😀

Well made video. The area looks like it has a lot to offer in the way of hiking. Beautiful. Too bad there was a water and fire ban.

Thank you, this area is great for hiking. I honestly want to get back here and hike every trail this park has. The Park host stated they are hoping to soon renovate the bathrooms and the entire water holding area allowing for greater storage. We have seen how Texas State Parks builds their new shower buildings and that is exciting as it will be nice. Thanks for watching.

The hike at the end of the video, the Echo Canyon trail was tough, I'm not sure how well a dog could navigate those rocks. Maybe a few could and others would struggle. And for the summit, I think what happened was they discovered in the pools of water at the top were these unique tiny shrimp that glow, and they have their own eco system in those pools of water. Well guess what a dog does to a pool of water, either consumes it or adds to it, LOL. So that's why they stopped letting dogs go up there. (the park rangers filled me in on that). Thankfully Tania isn't much for challenging hikes so her and Daisy hung out and took nice naps in the cool weather.

It’s such a beautiful park. We visited when we did our San Antonio contract. We didn’t get to hike to the top of the rock, though, because we had Bernie with us. It was a fun hike, nonetheless. Love the drone shots & the editing to the music. That was on point!!! 👌🏻Didn’t realize you could camp there. Looks like some wonderful facilities.

I really like your type of content. I've considered doing some similar long videos, like maybe a campfire video for an hour long. On your longer videos, do people let them play, like do you have a long play through on those, or are people clicking on them, and then clicking off?

Great Shots of Enchanted Rock! When we went there to film park told us no Drones allowed unless we had a permit so we scratched that. One of the best hikes I've done, Great stuff, new sub! Feel free to check out our ER vid if you like! Thanks for Sharing!

Interesting, I always look for signs posted about no drones. When we visited a state park in Florida, they actually had a big sign at the front gate that stated no drones and the Florida law that goes along with that. So I did not fly there. If you notice in this video, a helicopter flew right through the Echo Canyon area of the park, that was really cool. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment, we appreciate you.

@@TexasFamilyCamping I really wanted to use my drones but I called before and they said no to me so felt like following haha. Regardless there was a lot of times I felt just pull it out and shoot since there was no one around but maybe next time 😅. Thanks for the update will make sure to look for those signs !
