IMO on paper 2042 was amazing. It had tons of great ideas and wasted potential. The problem was the execution and the awful launch. Under different circumstances, 2042 could had thrived and be one of the best. Let see if DF does it better. My first impression of DF is that it is not BF even if they tried. I still think 2042 in 2024 is a better BF experience.

I'm still looking forward to this game but the more time goes on, the more I'm worried about it's success :/
If they make the all out warfare mode any more similar to battlefield, I'm just going to play the extraction mode and hope the battlefieldness doesn't ruin that too.
Its almost the exact same game. Its FTP so ill casually play it but theres so many great games on the horizon its hard to take this Battlefield form WISH seriously

I had high hopes for this game, but after playing the alpha and beta, it has too many flaws. Compared to BF 2042 it still needs a lot of work. Specially on the vehicle play. I feel vehicles are an afterthought in the game and they would be better to remove them all together and focus on the infantry play. Which is the strongest part, if they remove the specialist. They have zero positive impact on the gameplay now. WW3 had the same problems and failed.
As long as they are using their own original assets and not directly stealing things from EA, then EA can't really do anything. It's 1 thing to take ideas and copy designs of things, but it's another to steal assets. As long as DF use 100% original assets it's fine. A lot of games do this, you see Roblox shooters directly copying shipment from Cod, and other free games copying things from other games. I don't agree with taking these things from 2042, but at the end of the day it's another FPS to play in the meantime so for me it's just eh.
If delta force wanted to actually grab battlefield players attention then they should have went for the setting of the campaign or during the gulf war, that’s what battlefield players want lol. When I saw the game I immediately lost interest when I saw that it was gonna have specialists and it’s really funny to see the excuses that bf players make for them

As I've said before, Delta Force is literally a 1-for-1 made in China copy of 2042. I played 15 minutes of the last playtest and couldn't continue, it reminded me of how terrible the BF series has become. Delta Force will fail to capture the BF fans they're trying to lure in.
This game is dead on arrival! Mostly due to Ai and"operators"... Most likely it will have bad anti cheat as well... The perfect recipe for an all time failure :-) I wont invest in this game studio!
