I disagree. His voice could sound a lot deeper to match his size and still convey his arrogant nature, I just think it’s dependent on the choice of voice actor and the voice direction the actor receives. Personally, I think someone like Patrick Seitz (who voiced DIO in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) could pull it off very well, as he can have a very deep and menacing voice that also conveys a lot of arrogance (of course, a voice actor is really only as good as the direction they receive, so that’s also a factor to consider). Of course though, a deeper voice isn’t needed. The original English dub voice actor of Yujiro from the first 2 seasons didn’t really have a deep voice. Actually, he’s maybe on this current actor’s level in terms of tone. However, imo, the original voice actor could sound much more cruel and menacing than this one in addition to sounding arrogant, so he seemed pretty fitting for the character.

No the current voice actor is perfect, stop your whining. He sounds arrogant and condescending like he looks down on everyone. So the voice matches the character's personality
What many would call cowardly, I call it tactical; and the reason for that being is quite simple really. The unknown, yes you heard me right; not knowing what you could be facing until it’s too late. The mere fact that he doesn’t know what’s behind Kaioh emperor’s punch is reason enough to be suspicious. It’s dangerous to underestimate your opponent, and I’m in awe that Yujiro remembered that; otherwise it very well would’ve cost him his life. From the very beginning I knew what he was doing even if I didn’t know what Kaioh’s trick was. So there you have it, for anyone that even for a moment thought Yujiro was acting cowardly, you’re all damn fools. It’s the little things in life that’ll get you killed, like ignorance.
The Japanese version of Yujiro is the way I prefer to hear him speak. I alternate whenever he’s in the scene like he knows how to speak English, but doesn’t want to.
Bro, this is just proof that you need to be smart when fighting that retreating can be a good option. It’s not that you’re weak, but you’re choosing to be smart. You don’t act smart you’ll die.
Kaku Kaioh is on a different level. The fact he made Yujiro out of all people retreat speaks volumes.

Yujiro the only being in existence where your only chance of survival is dying before he kills you😂
0:05 you vs your parents when you’re trying to hangout with friends on a school night
3:27 damn that sound effect and the way he just claps his hands like that had me rolling 😂😂 he slapped sum buttcheekz
👏🍑👏👏
Well he did do that to his girl
A guy who can create earthquakes with his fists just double slapped you full force in the head.
Yup died of old age.
Everyone keeps talking like Yujiro sounds like Mickey Mouse, he sounds like OG Broly to me and I love it
I know everyone is focusing on Yujiro's dub which isn't exactly amazing but I think Kaku's dub is awesome
These fight scenes remind me so much of Superhuman Era LOL.
I actually expected a more ozzy inflection to his voice since he seems to live pretty much like a super star.
But I do love his english voice, gives it an extra small tone of cocky that only english can do at times. The japanese voice is good for being showing an absolute monster though so i guess both have their quirks.
Old man looks like he had stood still to take those punches lol
Why Yujiro's voice is higher than Baki's
Because two different voice actors have two different voices 😑
Because Yujiro no longer has big pp. He’s been having sex every morning, evening, afternoon, and night, so he no longer has big pp
Hypnotic Skull exactly
Hypnotic Skull pp?
Kickinthescience
Pp
Damn the artwork here is amazing
I miss the old english voice of yujiro
Fucking hilarious how baki has deeper voice than yujiro yet no wonder baki be verbally abusing his father while yujiro physically abuse him.
Need to get Yujiro's old VA back ASAP.
Is his old VA even still alive?
@@symbiotegod2069 yes, but I think he doesn't voice act no more
The old va for yujiro sounded amazing, however I wonder if Matthew Mercer's voice would be perfect for yujiro?
Here we have old man vs kisame what an interesting match
Kirk Thornton is accomplished actor, but I need Matthew Tompkins on this role
This old man is so clever. He didn't die. He was alive. It was his act to retreat
Remembered the manga and loved it. Anime did it just right without that stupid 3d crap. Anime is beautiful without that garbage messing it up.
Lucidic Dreams I stand by the notion that if they use it in between frames or in a way that I don’t really notice the first time then they know how to use cgi
"3D crap" look man you seem to misunderstand how your attitude only makes a bigger problem, the 3D idea is not a bad one, far from it, kengan ashura proves that pretty well.
The problen is that for many companies 3D animation is still a new idea.
@@ColdNorth0628 anew idea that's not meant for everyone. Either stuck with one or the other, or make it better where it blends. Otherwise, they'll receive disappointed. So of course my attitude is a thing, and so others would agree to since they read the manga, and expect semi-great results.
@@ColdNorth0628 kengan ashura does do 3d animation much better than baki does, in kengan it makes the fights have a sense of realism and it doesn't really work in baki cuz it looks like a video game
This shit was elder abuse....and I loved every minute of it lmfao. Not even mad at him faking his death.
Just hearing Yujiros dubbed voice makes me want to be a voice actor and fix it
The voice is just fine
Slug Llama same
That's pretty arrogant to think you could do better
@@dumbautisticmutt lmao anybody can do better then what happened there he sounds like a 14 year old trying to be bat man
@@wcghavii7625 used incorrect grammar then used an exaggerated analogy, you're benched for the rest of the game son.
Funny thing is when I was really young before I even knew what anime was and I'd never been in a fight in my life at that time I had an idea when if when you get punched you flow with it so all you do is get pushed with minimal impact and I found out that's an actual technique used in martial arts including here
Ogre sounds like an edgy teen trying to imitate Wolverine.
That makes no sense
@@user-vr8ve6rt9c This is Baki. Nothing needs to make sense.
@@VinayMenon222 i was talking about real life but yeah Baki doesn't have any sense to it though lol
Not gonna lie I usually prefer dubs over subs, usually, but unanimously the sub is so much better
Does anyone else think that Patrick Seitz would’ve worked better for Yujiro (2018 of course)
YESSS HE’S THE ENGLISH EQUIVALENT OF AKIO ŌTSUKA
Yeah, but netflix did the dubbing. They should've let Funimation do the recording.
Dr. Stinger Seitz has been subbing Netflix series too like Griamore from Seven Deadly Sins. (I think that’s how you spell his name)
No the current voice actor is perfect, stop your whining. He sounds arrogant and condescending like he looks down on everyone. So the voice matches the character's personality
This shit was crazy…. First time viewer from yesterday and this fight was amazing…..
That punch was weak he’s definitely scared of old man
The way the doctor said Kaku's death is funny yo
The Japanese version of Yujiro is the way I prefer to hear him speak. I alternate whenever he’s in the scene like he knows how to speak English, but doesn’t want to.
Bro, this is just proof that you need to be smart when fighting that retreating can be a good option. It’s not that you’re weak, but you’re choosing to be smart. You don’t act smart you’ll die.
