Me too!!!
I appreciate these reviews so much! You reviewed the bag I already have which still works fine, I'm just looking for an upgrade.
Hi, thanks for the good review. I was watching Trekkit review on the Stratos 24 and wanted to buy one but wondered what the difference was. It never mentioned the male and female names. You have given me the answer. thanks a lot

I have a Daylite Plus, but I think I need another backpack more comfortable like the Tempest 20 or the Sirrus 24, I don't know which is better for 1 hiking day... My pack normally weight 5 kilograms with tripod inside include...
I am training with the goal to do Mt.Whitney in 1 day (up and back), hopefully in August/Sept. I am wondering which size would be best for the trek (24, or 36) I am also the Sirrus (ventilation) or the Kyte (stability/center of gravity). I know I will have to bring some gear, but not my whole sleep system. I do like the idea of a versatile pack where I could use for quick 1-2 night trips (I do have a larger pack for longer trips already). Any recommendations? I have also looked at Dueter packs (32) but felt there shoulder straps were a pit to narrow. I want to feel like I have enough room to store my gear comfortably, without too much unnecessary bulk. (Sorry for the stream of consciousness / long post).
hi! I find the backpack sits very well once adjusted, I'm only struggling with the chest strap which feels too far up / too close to my throat. It's not uncomfortable but I wonder if I should be adjusting somewhere else to get it further down? Many thanks!!
Hi Carina! The sternum strap can be adjusted up and down along your chest. Just slide the strap up or down where its ends attach to the shoulder straps. You can see one of these endpoints right around 0:33
@@Enwild ah thank you!! It's pretty hard to slide the strap and I thought I'd break it.. but it worked. Thanks again!
I bought it, I like space and pockets, but there is one very big downside - zero stability on the bottom. It's just impossible to put this bag on the surface (floor etc) for free standing upright. For example, I took one day a trip with a train, I packed this bag and I wanted to have the bag next to me on the floor at my seating place. The bag just slided down flat on the floor. I needed to support it with one my leg to prevent it from sliding constantly on the floor. It was really irritating.
I can appreciate that. It may not work with this particular bag, but sometimes I attach my closed cell foam sleeping pad to the bottom of the bag and that acts as a brace so the bags sits up straight on its own.
Does this bag pack has a place to put a laptop? like a pocket?
Thank you. The video is very helpful. How is Sirrus compared to Tempest or Escapist? Hiking V.S. Daily V.S. Biking?
Great question! We’d recommend reaching out to our Gear Specialists at support@enwild.com for more details. We look forward to hearing from you!
hello, this backpack can i use it for a day trip?...on city.... carrying my camera, lens, ipad, some clothes?..... im searching one....
Yes, absolutely! This is a great pack for day trips! Feel free to also check out our Trailsense Article on how to choose the best pack size for you: trailsense.enwild.com/what-pack-size/
Is this all the same with the 26l version?
The Sirrus 26l Is top loader that is only available in the European market, the 24l that is currently available in the United States, is a panel loader. You can find it here www.enwild.com/osprey-sirrus-24-womens-2022.html?Category_Code=day-packs-9
Would it be weird for a dude to wear this backpack? This review sold me on it
If the pack fits, wear it! If you find you don't fit into conventional packs, go with what fits YOU rather than worrying about whom a pack's been designed for. (The "Men's" version of this bag is the Stratos 24 just in case you're wondering: www.enwild.com/osprey-stratos-24-2017.html)
Could you attach a tent & sleeping bag to either side using those straps? Or those are just for compressing the pack?
They are designed as compression straps, but they could handle a smaller tent, or similar elongated items. Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for responding! Your videos are very helpful :-)
You bet! Keep us in mind for expert advice and great deals on outdoor gear!
Which is better between that backpack and the ag mira 26 hydration pack?
These packs have slightly different features and construction. The Mira 26 AG will give a much more seamless fit and includes a hydration reservoir. The design is a little more advanced. The Sirrus is still a great pack, but won't provide the same seamless fit. It also does not include a reservoir and the pocket orientation is a bit different. Neither is a bad choice, but it will depend on your preference.
Thank you!
Women's backpack? Surely men can use it too.
Any shorties own this pack? I'm 4'11" and this sees pretty adjustable but it's still always a concern that the packs will be too big and the weight won't be distributed well.
Not this one, but I am 5 foot and I own the Sirrus 26. It's very similar and is fine for my size.
