When I was a kid, from age 12 to probably 18, I truly admired Nick. Part of that was a silly celebrity crush, but I genuinely looked up to him. I'm 22 now, and I feel like he's changed so much. Not necessarily for the worst. And all his childhood stardom probably messed him up, which does really suck. But part of me does miss what Nick used to be. Maybe that's just part of growing up.

He had looks (they all did/do), talent (once again all of theml,and a high ceiling. He didn't let diabetes control his life, but because of that the things his older (maybe even Frankie ) brothers did, he couldn't. I'm not saying Disney isn't responsible, I'm saying life issues had a bigger role than we think.

Im in love with the whole idea of Nick being opened an putting out LYWC episodes for us to see. He clearly states that "opening up" to people is not easy for him, but here he is showing his true self, his life, and insight about his album, so the fans and people can see what really goes on in his life. Being able to show your true self to the world is a beautiful thing but its hard to do, especially if your a celebrity. Just looking at this episode, you can tell that Nick is just like everyone else. He's going through life and experiencing the highs and lows of what may come his way. I have developed soo much respect for Nick and I'm excited to see the next EP. Last year may have been complicated, but this year is your year dude!

I love that Nick is going the 808 Kanye, Drake, Frank Ocean path to express his feelings. Not only is it something I can vibe with but it's a great genre to experiment expressing yourself with. LYWC is a fucking great album. I wish the best of luck to Nick and I hope there's still plenty more to come.

Nick I'm really glad you opened up to us. I know it probably was very difficult because some of of the topics are very touchy subjects. Also I feel that you were trying your best to not cry when you were talking about the Jonas Brothers.
Love this! As someone who is the same age as Nick and been following JB the past 11 years since the first song on Radio Disney, this is a dream come true. To see the brothers in the raw and for who they really are being so vulnerable. I am so proud of Nick and his brothers and all they've accomplished. Nick you could never be a failure, you have such a passion and such a God given talent. Also if that was weed, yassss. I mean that's the kinda realness im talking about, that and just all the honesty in this. Can't wait to see the other episodes.
Been following nick since he came out with his VERY first album, before the Jonas Brothers were a thing. I've watched this man grow up. And I have to say, he really did go through some tough shit with his brothers, and if he wants to smoke a joint, fuck, Ima be right there with him. He deserves it. And I'm glad the brothers separated after the tv show really, they all needed it. Kevin is a grant father, Nick is an amazing singer, joe is alright I mean, it see,s to me he's trying a bit hard, but hey, oh well. But I'm proud to see how far Nick has come in these years. And if I get to meet him, I will shake his hand and tell him how wonderful he is, and how amazing his albums are since the start. I swear, this man is absolutely amazing.

Sorry to comment 3yrs later but I think he just regrets the Disney route they took. It attracted too many children as fans & put them in the boy band category. It’s sad b/c they were not a boy band. They were/are a legitimate band. It also made it hard for Nick to be taken seriously as a songwriter. So glad they are back stronger than ever! I hope Nick finds much success writing songs for others.
