Scientist need to study the effect Ray has because no matter what genre of game he is playing, watching him makes me want to play that game too
Even though i already perfected this game on xbox watching him play made me start perfecting it on steam.

The funny thing to me is that his lack of interest in the story is probably the thing that's giving him the most trouble, causing him to get lost easier because he's only half-paying attention to what NPCs are telling him. lol

Sekiro when it expects you to feed multiple people wine, eat rice 5 times, eavesdrop and fight a special boss for the true end

The fact that he fought the Owl on Fathers Day is chef's kiss
did he do it with demon bell active? the damage owl is hitting him with is suspiciously high.

Trying to not spoil anything
Things still to do:
Hirata:
-Pot guy/carp scales, lots of water to explore at Hirata Estate, early and later
- bamboo thicket hidden path right of the bridge to burning mansion
-Audience chamber hidden Shinobi wall
- (second play through) get fathers bell charm from Emma, pray at Buddha for new bosses
Ashina:
-Talk with info broker guy again he had a whole thing, talk, rest, repeat to advance dialogue
-Headless x 2
-The rest of the story
- (second play through) Obey owl instead of fight, for 2 new bosses as game ends early
Abandoned Dungeon:
-Water in the.. wait for it.. underground waterway
Temple:
-Kite guy use puppet ninjutsu use kite higher up path for new area, very cool
-Merchant near Shugendo
-temple grounds another Giraffe guy and water , you can go death from above.
Sunken Valley:
-there is a whole area below the guardian ape fight, Bodhisattava Valley, down
-Merchant, and spooky worth getting poison gourd
- Headless fight here somewhere?
Ashina Depths:
- Up path to guardian ape burrow has secret path
- Headless in the Hidden Forrest
-alot of items in Mibu village near the big tree
- Water mill, under the village chiefs house
Fountain Head:
-another pot guy above the palace grounds one way used with next part
-fish guy crazy stabby lady's dad same place the other way, kill the big fish then go to the guardian ape watering hole
I'm sure there is more this is just what stood out to me
Things to do:
Explore water area by hirata estate
Find the three story pagoda
Explore ashina castle a bit more, now that things have changed here and there
Explore senpou temple a bit more (hint: minion jutsu)
Explore bottom area near original monkey fight
Feed the "master" bait
Continue having fun
Oh and here’s some headless lore: there are 5 in total. They match certain items of the game, which is why 1 represents the origin per item.

Given how much Ray is enjoying this, I'd like to see him try other Fromsoft games. I know he really didn't enjoy DS1, so that rules out most of them, but there's always Armored Core 6.
There's a part of me that hopes he lands on Dark Souls 3. Not as janky as 1 or 2, not nearly as huge as Elden Ring (linear, pretty much). Little chance of that.
I'd kill for an AC6 playthrough

Ray offhandedly picking between two options not knowing he almost started the bad ending because of a joke is peak Ray content.
After the final part, Ray should watch a speed run for Sekiro and react

In case you need more details for things to explore outside of what you already have hinted:
- You missed some minor things at the Senpou Temple grounds idol (check water and roof of non-main building)
- Hirata Estate dragon spring idol has some things around the water to check out
- The information peddler behind ashina outskirts wall stairway idol has more than just information available
- Strongly recommend going to Ashina outskirts where you fought the horse riding boss before fighting the final boss
The fact that Ray beat O'rin without using the Divine Confetti? Insane.
I never thought to use that against her, and I've platinumed the game...im stupid lol.

Setting yourself on fire to kill your opponent is a Dark Souls/Elden Ring thing from what I remember.
I think it was only really in 3 and elden ring, may have been in 2 though that game was a fever dream to me lol

Some things to check out, since you asked. Have your mods vet this list to make sure it isn't spoiling too much.
A lil easter egg to start, try the bestowal ninjutsu on some of the lizards.
Don't forget the little hut with the slurping dude in Mibu Village, the one after sword-hat lady and before the bridal location.
When heading back to the castle, instead of the abandoned dungeon maybe try the back way up from the gun fort canyons, where the monkeys were on the snowy path.
There's some water in Hirata Estate at the beginning of it. Also some rivers further in. Little bit of water in Senpou temple too.
Explore near where the monkey boss was.
There's something interesting a bit before you jumped into that giant dark pit.
The Puppetry ninjutsu can be used as a minor plot device, no telling where but you said you hate the place :) (I'd be amazed if you found this but you've impressed me before)
I would add Do a quick lap of ALL the merchants, they may have new inventory or even something interesting to say.
since you asked, i'd suggest looking around the water at the beginning of the hirata estate.
For things you should go back to, if you want to find where to use the treasure carp scales, go back in time again. There's an area you missed there near the beginning along the water (also just more water to swim under). I think there's also a place to use them somewhere in the fountain head area, but I don't remember where exactly.

Advice that's not spoiling stuff unless I missed him finding out about it, that unique skill you use to back stab and gain control of an enemy is used for secrets within the game. Just need to find out where.
There are two kinda hidden areas in fountainhead palace that it looks like you missed out on. Both areas are accessed from the same place. If you start from the palace grounds idol go into the building and then take the exit on the left you'll be at the waterfalls with a long set of stairs. On each side of the waterfall there are grapple points that are hard to notice that lead to the two areas.
When the centipede pops out of the head on the monk fight, it kinda sounds like Zach Hadel doing a voice 😂
The fathers day tease he did at the choice as if he was going to obey the code caused my heart to skip a beat. Glad he will see SSI in the end, though.
I both hate and am impressed ray only took three tries to beat Owl while it took me like 20 or so my first playthrough; granted i didnt know about the corner cheese, tried to keep him in the center.

I love this game but i still havent gone back to play through the normal/true ending, in my first playthrough (yes im an edgelord) the shura ending sounded cool so i went for it only to have my friend who was playing alongside me do the other route and tell me the next day "oh you already beat this whole area?" Only to realize because of the ending i chose i was cucked out of 50% of the game and im still mad about it
