This one has become my favourite execution of Prokofiev's First! The right amount of energy, youth, playfulness. The woodwind section is very clear, in particular in the third movement where it has a fundamental role. The conductor, too, is really brilliant, especially when he starts "dancing" :D

That's the best looking orchestra I've seen in 60 years of concert going / watching... And the happy intensity of all involved... Prokofiev surely smiles.

Nobody in the string section appears to be over 30.

The perfect combination of a brilliant conductor, an excellent orchestra, a magnificent piece by a genius composer and a top-notch sound and video quality. What a joy!

Well near perfect. The orchestra was constantly behind the conductor.

I am so inspired. It is as I would see Sergej rise from his grave to spend ovations to those lovely young talents, who give any ounce of energy into this adorable work of art.

I like it to be played fast and wildly, like in the TV Series "The Flaxton Boys" to capture the vigour and joy of youth

The regular conductor rehearsed the orchestra extremely well, but was taken ill and had to be replaced by a drunken sailor. Just kidding! Great performance.

Très bon orchestre. Le chef fait la vedette de music-hall pendant que les jeunes en bavent avec cette partition redoutable. Bof!

While I love the output of this orchestra I would not want to play with that conductor. What is it with newer conductors that they don't at least with one hand beat out the beat of the piece? He looks ridiculous singing along while he's conducting.
