ok shoutout to the graphics/replay crew, gotta say it. That new pitch-trail overlay switching from yellow to white when it looks like a ball vs looks like a strike is AWESOME. Really shows just how hard it is to get a read on them.
You guys just keep getting better at this, on the field and with the production, its fun to watch.

He's not a creator, It has to be Penik, Shelfy, Joez, or Zo. Personally I think Zo would be best but Penik's captain skills in BIP was really good

I’m constantly amazed by how invested I am in these Games. I’m a Jake fan in general, and with Zo, Luke AND Penik? One of my favorite teams in warhouse history. Story all the way.
That last ball going Penik's way is tough for The Story. A lot of other players in the Warehouse make that catch
Penik is ALWAYS low effort with anything that requires moving more than one step.
Almost pulling a NOBLETIGER in the first is crazy
People doubting Shelfy's ability show their lack of Warehouse Lore. Shelfy's been slinging it since some of their first warehouse collabs and he showed he's still got it today. I think the biggest surprise and hidden gem was Ryan Cohen. He can chuck that Blitzball so casually and if he can just locate his pitches a bit more he's gonna be a high end pitcher. And of course how can you go wrong with Dalton at the moment. He's taken his game to a new level this year. I think some people critiqued Jolly's move based off their own dislike of the guy but he's got one of the strongest teams for sure.

Definitely very happy to be wrong. Honestly BBD talking about the lack of high end pitchers made it make sense to me. It’s not like there’s really even anyone on a level below Jack. Kinda him, a few levels and everyone else.
Who dislikes anyone in the warehouse? Jealous maybe because I'm almost 40 and would love nothing better than this to be a part of my job 😂😂
@@RichFactzMac4 if you don't watch some of their other content like the Jomboy Gaming channel then I could see how you wouldn't notice the hate - though even the Captains league videos comments have a lot of hate towards Jolly cuz they want to see him relegated as they view him as cocky. But especially in gaming videos he gets a lot of comments calling him cocky and others see him as a sore winner/loser cuz he always complains. I personally don't care about that stuff since it's a game and they just get invested. And also Jolly outside of competitive videos (i.e. Blitzball or gaming tournaments) is just a positive knowledgeable dude about baseball so he's always fun to listen too.

One thing we've consistently seen with Blitzball is that new players take a game or two to figure some of it out. We've seen it with Knorp in the past, for example. I'm not worried about some of the inconsistency we saw with Shelfy or with Luke, since both showed flashes.
The real winner of this game was Ryan’s mustache.

I thought there was a rule about how many outs a reliever can get? I think Jimmy said something in the first inning about Jake only being allowed to go through 1 out in the second inning. He pitched all the way to the end. Am I misunderstanding things?

I thank the 5 run limit an inning needs to be removed. An instead bring the skunk run rule in. If a team get 10 runs an other 0 then call it a skunk run rule. And if a team has a few points then the only way to skunk run rule then is if they get 11 runs ahead. But the home team that is down by 11 they still get to bat to try an win. Or do something else but the 5 run rule isn't working no more. You could also keep that 5 run rule but if the team has 4 runs an bases loaded then a hr is hit you should give them all the runs they earn past 5. Even if it's only 2 runs more. This way it's more fair an entertaining

Another game where jolly gets carried by his team and then acts surprise "oh I only got walks that inning wow I'm so surprised I'm trash at hitting". I've officially become a hater I think. This may be a dumb question but anyone have any idea how to find a team or league near you? I played this in a pickup game and someone that won a tournament in Pittsburgh told me to sign up. But stupidly I forgot to ask how lol
I'm impressed by the Goodfellas. I wasn't familiar with Shelfy or Cohen's game but they looked solid. They'll be even better if they can consistently find the zone. I still have Story winning this tournament but this game solidified it for me that the Breakdowns aren't winning a single game.

What does SP and SG stand for in the positions? LF and RF make sense as left and right fielder, and I assume the P stands for pitcher, but what does the S stand for?

Great first game it’s refreshing to see all the new guys struggle to throw strikes the only time I’ve thrown a blitzball was insanely challenging compared to a wiffle bat
You should pad the black legs on the strike zone so that they bounce and sound different than hitting the actual zone to avoid some real time confusion.
