  • I'm not a Loner. My name is not Kruglov. My task is to infiltrate any Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and seize any of the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that have illegally entered the Zone. I have left the Mercenary Faction to join the Loner Faction. I am the Stalker.
Encrypted Diary: From the roof of the Checkpoint, I had watched the two Dutyers I had helped, go over the rise, in front of the Jupiter Plant, towards the Eastern Tunnel. Then I saw Zombified Stalkers come over the rise towards me and I had a bad feeling about this. I shot the zombies and then jumped down and took off running in that direction.
When I arrived at the scene, there were more bodies than I imagined. I found the three Zombified Stalkers I had shot but just beyond them was even more. It had been a battle that the Dutyers were far outnumbered, as among more dead Zombified Stalkers, I found the two Dutyers, that I had helped at the Jupiter Plant. They had gone down fighting and among all the bodies was a lot of loot. I struggled to leave the killing field and head towards the Ecologist I had passed to the south.
I found the Ecologist with a three-man Duty squad. I sold them the looted weapons and caught up with the Ecologist that was dealing with some Blind Dogs. The Ecologist got spooked and had gone inside the tallest building. From there I went out front to the turnstile, where I expected to see the pajama zombies, that I had spotted earlier down by the railroad tracks.
At the top of the eastern tunnel, I looked down and started shooting at a pack of Pseudodogs and then onto all the scattered pajama zombies. I had descended on the western side of the concrete support wall, shooting the last Pseudodog and then the remaining zombies. As I was wrapping up, I saw the flash of a body beneath me, that I knew was my only clue, that I was now being hunted by a Bloodsucker.
I stood on top of the concrete support, out of reach of the Bloodsucker and waited. The Bloodsucker was smart and was not giving itself away beneath my elevated position. I stepped back to the section that was more level with the ground, to see if the Bloodsucker would take the bait. It did, as it moved right in very quickly, but my trap had worked, and I blasted it in the back as it ran into the concrete wall. I waited a moment to see if there was a second Bloodsucker, but none appeared. I skinned all the meat from it and the Psuedodogs down on the tracks and went up the hill on the other side with the road. I quickly made it back to the Checkpoint, where I caught a Monolith that thought he was all alone.
