We should all protect Mark. He is charismatic and seems to know how to make things happen. Mark can be a threat to some people who want to preserve the status quo. He is very young, therefore his potential is huge.
There's so much going on in this video that would easily escape viewers in America and other Western countries. First, Mark's Swahili fluency is impressive. He even knows the word for a jealous person (mwivu). You simply cannot convey how he comes across to a native. He's basically a co-native. The only big distinction is that he has way more financial resources than ordinary Tanzanians, especially those of his age. Look at the conversation from minute 1:54 to 2:22. Look at the facial expression of the Tanzanian worker as he listens to Mark explain something. He's really caught up in Mark's recounting of an experience they both had. To me, part or all of the reason he's listening intently is that Mark is using good Swahili to explain what happened. The other great thing about this video and others that Mark has shown, as his Emerge project started to get built, is the light they are shining on casual or freelance workers in Africa. People who have not been to Africa may not know the talent that many of these folks have. Yes, like everywhere, there are are those who are lazy or incompetent. But there are many workers who are really good at their craft. And they often labor under tough personal difficulties for very low wages by Western standards. In Kenya, they're called Jua Kali (Swahili for "Hot Sun") artisans. They most likely got this name from working out in the sun. So far you've seen woodworkers and masons. But there are also those who do metal work such as welding, making doors, gates and so on. Many of them produce amazing things. Finally, it's really nice to see Auston Holleman and others visit Mark. Collectively, they send a wonderful, warm message of togetherness.
you expressed this perfectly. As an African we appreciate Westerners who show respect by learning our language and our culture. That is how "respect is earned" on the continent. Not simply by only shaking hands and being nice.
@@analyticalmindset I hear you. When you come to think about it, it's actually a universal human trait: people everywhere are appreciative when you take the time to learn something about their culture, history or language.
Mark this is so great❤ I love the fact that a group of people from the diaspora are there to witness your greatness. Keep building and thriving, . I love seeing you and Katherine together, she is so down to earth and present thinking 🥰 all Praise The Most High

Mark the Visionary and Auston the Rouge Wanderer. Two highly talented and knowledgeable young brothers leading the charge in Pan-africanism. Salute to you both!
Hey Mark my future son-in-law. 😆 lol. Looking 😮 good. I have a quick question. Will you be treating the wood to protect it from the elements, termites, etc? I'm just curious 🤔. Keep up the good work, Mark.
This is awesome mark wish I was coming that way to visit (mommy Chrissy) I'm always on different channels but going to be in west Africa all next month
Shalom Mark! I was in Tanzania in 2020 evangelizing, baptizing souls in the name of YAHSHUA HAMASHIACH! I will be back YAH willing the end of August this year and I heard the young man Matthew Jackson who wants to be a Pastor someday. I would like his contact information to see if YAH willing that would be possible in the near future.
I am an African American lady married to Nigerian, born & raised in United States and I can say, one thing about Auston is, NO WOMAN Should give him any Attention at All. He will be Big Trouble for ANY Woman who takes him Seriously. He's Arrogant, mean, rude & crude !!! ❤🖤💚

Hi Mark can you please put me in contact with people selling five to twenty acres of land in Tanzania in the country side
Mark, how can I contact you directly. I am a university student and plan to invest in Tanzania.
Please email me at either markmeetsafrica@gmail.com or markmeetsbusiness@gmail.com
I think Tanzania has the second or third largest diversity of bird species on the continent.
