YES!! When I visited my Grandparents in Illinois I would run up to the guest room. Then I would open the 2nd dresser drawer and take out the Art Nouveau jewelry box of my great grandmothers. Filled will hat pins stuck in the pale blue satin. It had costume jewelry and a tiny heart pin in a red velvet box. The price tag says 10 cents. I still have it 🙏🏻!!
What a cool story Poodle. I have a vase from my Grandma.
That’s beyond cool. ❤
@@janetwentz3259 Thank you for that
Thank you for sharing that awesome memory.💞loved going through my grandmothers jewelry box as well🤗
The handled chamber candle holder, typically, came as a single. It was meant to be carried to light your way to bed. Think of the old tire advertisement "Time to retire".
Daniel. I’ve always wanted to tip toe down the hall, in the dark, holding a candleholder, in my night dress, in a thunderstorm……
@@elderlypoodle9181 I would pay money to see that! LOL.
with your sleeping cap. 😁
The Tuf glas pitcher may be the container from an old juicing contraption. I have an old orange juicer that has a smaller heavy weight green glass pitcher with a handle and spout to catch the juice. I thought of it when you showed that one. You do find the most incredible things.
when i was maybe 8 or 9, i took some of my Grandma's Avon jewelry from her drawer and wrapped it up for her Christmas gift...my mom always brings that up every Christmas that grandma was excited to see the gift but then said she had been wondering where that set had gone..lmao.
that eapg bowl looks almost like spades in design
think the Tufglas company was simply way ahead of their time and did not sell well. My favorite piece is one you are keeping. I have several of those handled candle sticks around my house as they are great to carry around when the power is out. I have never encountered a matching pair and all of mine ae singletons.
You did NOT!!! omg wow. This haul is one of the best!!!
Awww…. That lamp 🙌🏻
Loved everything loved going to my Nana’s house and playing dress up. She always let us go through her jewelry box to accessorize .Roseville lamp was incredible. Happy thrifting 😊
I was always looking through my grandma’s jewelry. She had so much. The great granddaughters and great great granddaughter also loved looking through her jewelry. And yes we had five generations alive at one time. I miss those days. Love everything you found ❤
Panther lamps!!! U lucky son of a buck!!! How does he do it, week after week, finding these treasures!!! Luck bug Luck bug!!! 💞💞🙃💞💞
Can’t wait til you find a Dirk Van Erp hammered copper lamp with a mica shade, $10,000-$15,000. Maybe, a TECO pottery vase with the flying buttresses, $9,000-$16,000. These were the things on my holy grail list. I did find a Bergman Austrian bronze, Arabian knight on horseback, for $35 at an estate sale mixed in with the plastic Breyer horses. Just never know what is around the next corner. Happy hunting!
I always wait for Salem!!! 💞💞🙃💞💞
I think that shade is perfect with the lamp beautiful
I remember going through my mom’s jewelry collection,my granddaughter now goes through mine. She has let her mom and Aunts know it’s all hers when I don’t want it anymore 😊❤
I just found a wooden box with a picture on top & a mirror inside the lid like yours. I’m appreciating your style so much. I loved the box immediately & laughed when you showed the ones you found. The parchment shade increased my pulse rate by 10 points!
Scott, your lamp is magical, Congratulations 🎉💃🎉
That lamp is amazing. I've seen them only in books, never in person, and certainly never thrifting! How awesome. The stuff you find in your area is incredible.
Scott, we all enjoy our visits with you so much. It's like having coffee with Uncle Henry and picking up knowledge along with the sugar in the cup, lol. Mother always called the blue of that candlestick peacock blue. I have her peacock blue Fenton hobnail creamer that I cherish. Thanks so much for an enjoyable visit, you really hit the jackpot this trip 😉☺️
I love the Asian tray. That Roseville lamp is fabulous.
Scott, so happy to hear you are not abandoning your Ebay store for those of us who love shopping in it! YAY!!!👏👏👏
Loved that beautiful lamp you showed at the end of the video. And that shade was fabulous too!!! 👍🏻
That lusterware is gorgeous
Excellent episode Sir 👍 ❤
The Tuscany lamp is gorgeous! We have a Rozane lamp that we inherited. Finding an original Roseville lamp is like winning the lottery!
That lamp is amazing! I have a large Roseville collection (over 100 pieces) and I had detached retinas when I saw that beautiful Tuscany lamp!! what a great find.
I have such a soft spot for lusterware, the colors are lovely on the set you were drinking from today. I want to know what you sacrifice to the thrifting gods because you find the best items. This haul just got better and better. I know you shop around and have a great eye, but yea gods, Scott...two panther lamps for $20 apiece? Congrats to you my friend, you hit it out of the park today again. Love seeing your hauls though sometimes I wish it was me with some of those treasures. Happy hunting!😊
Pays to live in Penn/NJ area I guess.
@@louiseasmith1336 Oh, yes it does seem that Scott searches a wonderfully fruitful part of the country, though I'm not taking anything away from his willingness to shop long and hard. It's just sometimes I get wicked jealous seeing some of the treasures up for grabs.
@@suespearmint7585 Indeed. He sure seems to love his job. 😁
That Roseville lamp will go very nicely with your newly acquired porch set. Looks like both were meant to be. Big scores in today's haul.
I have a lamp I wish I could find out more about it , it's definitely old with a clothe cord, its green pottery 🤔 I think, there's 3 elephants with 3 green shades that are plastic with metal borders around the plastic or maybe celluloid 🤔 .
I see everyone is loving on your Roseville lamp. I cannot help myself, I love it too! Great find!
Great finds 😮 I loved the Oriental tray, even with a few stains, just beautiful. Finding matching panther lamps without cracks or chips, unheard of! The Tuscan lamp is a gem 💎.
Love the Roseville lamp, and very curious about the blue dish. The EAPG is CAMBRIDGE GLASS CO. No. 2648 introduced in 1908. Only bowls were made in this pattern. EAPG society.
Thanks for the info!
Boy have the thrifting angels been perched on your shoulder this month. The Roseville lamp is incredible. So is the shade.
The Red 1910 red flying Craine tray is absolutely gorgeous.
Scott the heart eapg bowl is Cambridge no. 2648. They only made bowls in this pattern. Source eapg database Early American Pattern Glass Society.
As much as I enjoyed your window and kitchen hauls actually seeing you interact with us and your surroundings on the porch of the1925 bungalow is a joy!
Thanks for the info!
oh that shade is perfect
Those gufus glass plates match my 2 bowls from the OCS!!! What finds Scott!!!!!!
The Roseville lamp is so lovely and complementary to your home colors. The lamp shade is even more wow-ful-able.
The lampshade you already have is gorgeous. However, I agree with you - a plain parchment shade would let the lamp itself shine (no pun) in its own right, and possibly a little longer shade. The Orlich inkwell set is my fave - unbelievable still in excellent condition.
I had detached retinas when you showed that gorgeous shade! Wow!
Dear Scott ; The boxes were a popular gift item containing stationery and envelopes. Woolworths sold many . The other type of box was a gift to girls graduating high school from the Lane company . They encouraged young ladies to buy a Lane cedar chest to put her future needs for marriage in. ❤
I love the black panther lamps. Very exotic 😍 👌 😜!!!!!
Now this is quite an appealing haul. My favorite is the Tuscany lamp. Also the Asian tray, the pair of drippings jars and refrigerator jar.
Always happy to see Carnival glass
So many wonderful finds.
The tulip jars are my favorite!
That Roseville lamp is gorgeous!
Love the Roseville beauty! I agree a plain shade may be a better selection! Thanks for all the great shopping 🛍️ 😊
You’re the detective 🕵️♂️ who finally solved the mystery of my mother’s jewelry box Scott, so you know that’s my favorite 🙏! The inkwell set is lovely; I can just imagine the beautiful script being written with that pen 🖊️. I hope you keep the lamp, it’s a beauty & would feel right at home in the bungalow ☺️. Great fun as always!
Fantastic finds love panther lamps 🐈⬛
I researched the panther lamp because my grandmother had one. I think the company was Geiger they mentionned that they were often tv lamps.
That Glasbake refrigerator dish looks like it has Dentil molding as the design. Love this haul❤❤❤
I think that shade goes well with the lamp. The colour of the detailing on the shade tones beautifully with the colour at the base of the lamp. That's how it looks on screen to me, anyhow. Not too busy at all. A great combo.
Again, nice finds Scott. I love the lamp - that is so you!
I have that exact green tidbit tray :)
I'm loving the ppys sherbet cups, the green pour bowl and that 1 blue candle holder. That was a good haul.
What great finds! I'm always amazed at all the glassware in thrift shops. You found some beauties for sure.
Those panther lamps! OMG❤️🇨🇦
LUV the green TufGlas. Looks like a sauce boat or gravy boat. Maybe it had an under plate as well. ❤
Scott, about the Tufglas. Somewhere deep in my old cobwebbed brain, I remembered reading about Tufglas. So I grabbed my copy of Gene Florence's "Kitchen Glassware of the Depression Years 6th Edition." I went to the pages about green transparent glass, and on page 92 are Tufglas items (including your green glass bowl with the handle), and on page 90, descriptions are of those items. Mr. Florence described the item as "1-handled 'No-Splash Mixer."
Wonderful. Thank you because I am so busy I have had no time to consult my Florance books. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!
Love the lamp! That shade isn't bad until you find the right one. Keep the lamp. 😲👍💕
That Roseville Pottery lamp is a very special find.....the Goofus glass is very beautiful as well....thank you Scott.....
Mystery coffee set is loverly!
i keep checking your store
Love them all!! Great haul Scott😊 Love Lilly
Hi Scott. So many nice finds 👍🏻😁. The lamp is awesome 👍🏻.
Dude!!!! One beauty after another. I'm so green.
Beautiful ink set! Luv the pattern!
Always amazed when these sets are intact.
I did sneak in my mom's room and check out the jewlery. Thanks so much for reminding me of those sweet times.
Love the pair of panther lamps!
Hello Scott, I just googled that tufglas, they had some similar bowls for sale in the upper $60’s. Which I think is my favorite that you had found. Love that orange lamp and the 2 black leopard lamps. Congratulations on your great haul😊
Those tiger lamps are amazing. I once found a planter just like that with gold accents and chains. He sold pretty quick.
One of my favorite hauls yet, stellar finds. Everything you showed is top notch 👍🏻
That shade looks great with the lamp! you keep all the good stuff Scott!
Can't believe all the fabulous things you find at your nearby thrift stores. I therally enjoyed seeing all of it and would be hard pressed to decide which is my favorite but did love your lamp. I think the colors in the lampshade go perfectly with the lamp if you should decide to use it. Thank you for your wonderful videos. You are a cut above all the other venders I see on line. Keep up the good work.
The very last lamp! OMG! Luscious
I thought you hit the jackpot with those two black panther lamps!
Great finds! Love the Tuscany lamp, refrigerator dish and the carnival dish just to name a few. We don’t have the selection you do in your area. Our Salvation Army store and Goodwill is pretty junky.
beautiful coffee cup I love it
i never sold on ebay during the summer either.
Loved the panther lamps. I have the same ones with original two tiered shades.
WOW Scott! I can believe you found a piece of Tuf-Glas....I have it's big cousin..a 4 quart mixing bowl... looks the same except a different handle. So cool to see that again. Oh, and yes, that Roseville lamp is superb!! Congratulations on such a great find!
Great haul my fave is the German or French or whoever inkwell and pen set.
The lamp is awesome!!👏🏻👏🏻
perfect color for my living room, but a little spendy from what they quoted.
Fantastic haul! Love the grease jars! The lamp is beautiful but the shade is stealing the show for me 😍
You are so smart! I have been listening and learning from you. I am becoming very interested in glass etc. love the lamp. Have a good day cutting the grass stay cool!
That handsome Roseville Tuscany lamp is pretty special. I hope you keep it for a bit and enjoy it! Of course I loved the EAPG and the green decorated ink and pen set is delightful! Thank you for another interesting haul video! Lastly, on behalf of your birdies and squirrels: I hope that you remembered to buy them some seed! LOL!
Great lamp Scott. Another fantastic find. You've found the light...lol
“Blow their bouffant” 😁 I love your sayings
Just luv, luv that lamp- what a lovely glow! Great haul Scott!😘

Wow! That shade is fabulous! And the lamp? Ooo la la!
WOW! Very interesting. Tufglass. Nice to know if I ever see it again.
Great haul Scotty! Thanks for sharing!
Unbelievable finds.
Hello Scott, my favorite is the Tufglas...I swear I have seen that name before...!? The Roseville lamp is wonderful! ❤
My favorite is the blue candydish or vase as I would use it for.😊 I don't know if the green bowl or cup is Swedish.....hmmm🤔I think it's depression glass. 😊💚
My Mom had one of those cedar boxes with a lithograph on the top. She told me they were gifts to all the female high school graduates from a cedar chest company, hoping to stimulate sales of their full-sized products. This was 1947; I am rather sure it had a "Lane" brand wood-burned inside. And, yes, she did buy a regular sized one before marriage.
Good evening Scott ❤
Roseville lamp!!!!❤
