We love you guys! We just bought our first camper van last week. We never even camped together in 29 years of marriage … VERITABLE NEWBIES! Now, we've plunged in like most, DEVOURING RUclipss of Ten Things, 5 Ways, 6 Favorites and 50 Things I Never Buy. To be totally honest, your productions are great, we are attracted to the chemistry you guys have as a couple ... but you can't help but thinking "I gotta look for the REAL stuff here" … your boys in the background! After watching maybe 10 of your videos, I gotta say the end of this one where it's dark in the cab, your having playful fun with your wife about her driving and FAILURE to follow instructions, and the boys just FUELING everything … now THAT'S real joy right there! Seriously, the other stuff is good, but that was priceless!
It’s so nice to see y’all here in Texas. It really is “like a whole other country”, as we say here. There is an exceptional variety of topography here, from the piney woods of east Texas to the rugged mountains of Big Bend to the flat plains of the panhandle, etc. The downside is that the summers here are brutal. The Alamo is only one of five historic Catholic missions in San Antonio. The other four are part San Antonio Missions Historic Park. They are all Catholic churches, in continuous operation since the Spanish colonization of Texas, and well worth the time to visit them. San Antonio is such a wonderful city. Glad to see you showcased some of it. Happy Trails
Lol. Well, technically cameras were not allowed inside and I wasn't sure the the Alamo police was going to chase me out! I remembered what happened there...so I was on guard.
Where are they? I live in Texas, and was always told that it's illegal to stay overnight. It's sad that they have to be PC! Stop changing history. When you go to San Antonio talk to someone from there. You will get the real history.
I feel you know so much about Texas but have only scratched the surface. I'm visiting Texas next year, watching one of your old videos was so nostalgic. Hope you visit your dad again before spring and I can get some more great Texas ideas.
Thanks for sharing... it brought back some good memories of San Antonio!!! I was at Lackland AFB for basic training in 1971 and visited the River Walk, The Alamo and I hope to see those areas again on my RV Journey. I just bought a RV and I'm planning a trip from the east coast of NC to the Pacific coast in a month or so!!! I enjoy your channel and have seen some places that I would love to get some drone footage of!!! I hope to meet you guys on the road and share some stories!!! Enjoy the journey!!!
Enjoyed the review of San Antonio, haven't been there since 1956. Also liked Carlsbad, went there on my honeymoon too many years ago to remember it. Thanks, stay safe!
We Love San Antonio, been to River Walk several times. The food is awesome!!!! I agree that is seems a great place to just walk around, dont need a vehicle unless you're going somewhere farther away & the guys on the boat are wonderful at giving you the cultural and architectural background of the city. I especially loved all the authentic food & great music you can find on the Riverwalk Keep up the great videos (I think I've watched all of them now) You are a very entertaining family, such naturals in front of the camera (great editing too).
Great Job , love the videos . Get solar panels we have a 120 watt panel on top of our trailer with 2 batteries and all led lighting , only time we use the genie is for air or microwave , we only boondocks .
knowing you'll likely not see this I just had to send it none the less...We are Dave and Lorrie and have been sub'd and inspired by y'all for a while now. We're full time for the last year (thanks!). I was researching San Antonio as we're in TX now and came across this video. So fun to see Ginger and your kids so young again. I know you probably chagrin at your early videos,( I do at ours, and really all of ours, LOL) but honestly I was grinning ear to ear. We like to boondock. Loved it!!! Just wanted to say thanks!! Cheers, Dave and Lorrie
Yes, yes, yes, Caleb good point about the stars. They are better in the Aussie outback though. :) I'm going to have take notes & keep my comments till the vid is finished. Is great to see you all again. Marc, you could do the Aussie interior in an RV and then come back later in the boat. The coastlines have some awesome sailing. Esp Queensland. Google and have a look at Uluru, its in flood atm. It's been in flood before but it's rare and I've never seen it this good.
Hey Mark, Trish and the Kids: We are headed to San Antonio and Corpus Cristi this Wednesday in our new 2021 Regency Ultra Brougham MB, which we picked up in Dallas. Had to laugh at Mark's comment, "Texas is a very BIG state," -- that's exactly what I said when we drove back to Scottsdale--not realizing, of course, that the drive would be 1,070 miles. Like your RUclips videos; learned from them. BTW, love our new rig, which we got a great deal on after an "in-and-out" sale of our 2020 Winnebago Bolt. Some time "in-and-out" sales might be worth talking about in your videos. Many RVers seem to know little or nothing about them.
Just finished watching season 1. I now have a much better appreciation for my parents when they hauled my sister, late cousin and myself all the way through Canada and back to Delaware in a Coleman pop-up tent trailer pulled by a '69 LeMans back in 1970. Thanks guys. Tell the kids they will remember this when they are old geezers like me in a hundred years.
Another awesome vlog. Solar is a dream for our fifth wheel also, but soooo expensive. Thanks for the BLM tip. The kids will love this assignment; assign a complete episode to them. They would be incredible, all three personalities narrating. You guys be safe, keep them coming!!
Sure wish I was watching this when you came thru SA. This is our home and we love it here. So glad you enjoyed it here and you and Tori had great tips for SA.
If only you got there earlier while it was still light, to get your bearings... but this demonstrated & ties in to what I have been thinking about...from before a previous video?? It was in my head about the non holiday park stops along the way to getting somewhere... I was thinking specifically about the kmart car park stops being a bit of a worry... But, that like sometimes you have to along the way...?? ((Like there might not be time to get to a camp ground caravan park facility sometimes in the driving/travel schedule or something... like in this one where there actually was nowhere to stop!!)) Stopping at this open parkland/reserve overnight though, is much better, just as a means to set sail again
I glad you brought up the Alamo. We toured walking away, thinking what did we learn? Don't touch the walls? You opened my eyes! Maybe because there was not an event going on. We loved the boat tour! I did not know Carol Burnet was from San Antonio and why they built the Riverwalk.
BLM land is great for isolating and insulating yourself from humanity. I think it's necessary once in a while. And as Trish said (paraphrased) "the stars are amazing." Keep on keepin on. Stay safe.
Love your videos. It's really nice to see a happy family travelling together. My dream is to travel all states in America. This year I'm starting with NY, Minneapolis and West Coast.
Been watching ur videos daily on the treadmill. I’m active duty navy about to buy my first rv and go full time while I PCS to California. Love yalls videos.
Lol, I have to chuckle. I was doing a test set up on youtube and didn't realize I posted under the Ready2Roam channel...aka BobbieJoAyer-Grenier. :) Tossing the name around but not ready to commit yet. Also just read all the truck comments...all I'm going to say is you're a better person than I am! Who cares what you drive, or what anyone drives! It's a personal thing!! Oh, one last thing, I was shocked to learn you guys have no solar or generator. I guess I am a bit of a glamper! I need my lights and HEAT!! Lol. We bought a Honda 2100 last year and love it for boon docking. It's so quiet, very light, easy and fuel efficient.
I'll be excited to see what name you come up with! Yeah, I don't normally get into it, but it's simply not true and was in the car waiting for Trish in the market. Yeah, we really need solar or a generator to give us more options. More importantly, we just have so many things that need charging!
I so enjoy your videos! You guys crack me up! Great humor and living life your way! What great parents you are and your kids are so happy and positive! Love your Daydream! Safe travels!
It's crazy, did you ever think that 3 years later you would be pulling the same Airstream that you passed driving out of the camp ground? ❤ you guys are awesome btw!
You know, GPS coordinates of where you camped would be nice. Looks like a great place and I am always looking for new spots to camp. And if there is mountain biking; big bonus points.
If your rig isn't too old and has a GPS it should have a selection for Current Position. Or just a good old Garmin. I personally don't always trust the Google GPS coordinates. They differ sometimes from my GeoPDF maps but who really knows.
Are you happy with your TPMS? I am a recent subscriber and my wife and I have been binge watching your videos. With all of the flats that you've gotten, you have us thinking about preparing ourselves for the same issues. Keep up the great work. We love your videos.
Yes and No. We love having a TPMS...mostly so I know the PSI first thing in the morning without taking the time to check. However, the one I bought doesn't quite reach from a Supercrew Cab to a 30' double axle trailer. I really needed to spend more $$ to get better range. Highly rec having them. Thanks for your comments! In regards to tires, just make sure you get E or higher depending on your load. I'm sure D rated tires are good for light loads, but D rated + china + cheep = no bueno :)
Our trailer is 37 feet. Is there a model that you would recommend to replace your existing unit? My wife has already suggested that we get a second spare tire after watching your videos.
I know it's an old video but I have to coment. We've been to the Alamo and River Walk. Unfortunately it rained most of the time so the boats weren't running. We did get to sit outside and had a great dinner. Hope we can make it back someday
braunig lake rv park.. that is where my family and i rv park in the summer. my favorite tip for san antonio.. stay in lighted areas at night and never walk teh streets alone
Howdy from Texas. I myself leave in San Antonio and have been to Carlsbad Caverns, they are 90 % dead and the one in Sonora on I-10 are 90 % alive. on your way back if possible check it out they are awesome .Both C C & Sonora . We are planning to go to the Balloon Festival in Albuquerque New Mexico. hope we can make it. Well until then hope to see u there. Also you doing a good job on the videos and your kids and you guys are so cool in the videos.
OMG if you are ever back in San Antonio there is a mexican restraunt downtown called Mi Tierra, a MUST GO! They are decorated to the nines for Christmas 24/7, always have live Mariachis and GREAT mexican food!!! I grew up In San Antonio (Military Brat) and everytime I visit my mom we go there and to the great mexican market next door :) BTW F-150 is the way to go!
We tried to get it fixed in Austin and even pulled it off, but the company couldn't repair. It took 3 weeks for a new one to get ordered and it was replaced in AZ. Barely in time before we left for Mexico and the LED lights are not hooked up yet. I'm going to head into town town in MEX and get some supplies to connect the LED lights to the battery while we're here.
I want solar on our rig, but not sure if hubby would do it. He likes the RV parks & campgrounds. I don't get the drone stuff. I usually FF thru those scenes! ;-)
Yeah, we enjoy the RV parks for the resources, but the BLM camping was nice for the privacy. Going to sleep with the blinds open and seeing the sunrise was the best part. I like the drone so viewers know what the area looks like. It has been great for the small Mexican towns. But I can appreciate you likely prefer the scenes with talking and learning new things. I have some ideas for Season 2 that I hope work out well. :)
I can remember only watching Nomadic Fanatic on his RUclips page but he has nothing on you guys. Your video's are sooooo much better and I thank you for entertaining and showing me the world of RVing and the places you all visit. I know you can't do it forever but I hope it doesn't end any time soon. PS You have very well behaved and respectful children and it reflects on both of your great parenting skills.
Reflects on our great parenting! No... that reflects on my great editing! Lol. There are moments, but much fewer with more time between since we started as the kids have somewhat learned how to be next to each other without killing each other :) The adventures will change over time, but we have no plans to stop. Have sailing, Europe and backpacking in mind. Hopefully always something worth sharing!
Keep Your Daydream, great video this week! I loved it! Out of those Volkswagen Bugs and Vans that was 20 points. Marc, I laughed so hard when the boys said roasted! Lol! I was shocked to see a video uploaded today but I'm glad because I was really wanting to watch a new vlog. 😀😃👍👌.
Thanks Colton. Yeah, the boys are funny when it comes to comebacks. I started the vlog on Tuesday so I could start the upload process on Thurs night. Only took two days! :)
please remind the kids to really look around and enjoy those huge private Wide Open Spaces. As you know, and remember, almost all the places that we saw when we were growing up that were wide-open r all gone now. These will be some of their fondest memories. You guys r great parents to give them memories like this. Ty 4 sharing them with me. :)
Embarrassing admission, for the longest time, I thought the name of the channel was "keep Your Daydream Kid". San Antonio was beautiful, thanks for bring us along.
Awesome video! We are shopping for a travel trailer and am curious about the length and weight of your RV, and what is the towing capacity of your F150 truck ? Thanks!
Hey there Dana! Ginger is 28 feet. She is 5,900 dry and I think about 9,200 fully loaded (which is hard to believe). F-150's have various towing capacities based on the the engine. Mine is the 6.2L. It pulls the weight fine. I did add Firestone Ride Rite to keep the truck level. Had I known how much we were going to live RV Life...I would have got a Diesel. But there have been no issues to speak of.
@4:22 tip #1 addendum: where you say the riverwalk is $10, did you mean to say the boat ride down the riverwalk was $10 each. The actual riverwalk (if you walk beside the river) is free. Or it used to be free when I was there a couple years ago
Good point Bill. You're right. Access to the Riverwalk is still free. The boat ride was $10 each. I with RUclips allowed me to do annotations so I can update it, but they took that away if I use the end screen links. YT is trying to make everything work for mobile. Anyway, good point.
keep after those tires do you have a remote sensor you can put in your truck the sensor to go in the tire low pressure it will squawk a signal to the controller
Old Fart Young at Heart... great name! Trish got me a drone for my birthday! But I broke it a couple episodes before this one. It's fixed now... all is right in the world :)
Yes, it's still broken (at the time of the video). Had I known DJI would have fixed it so fast, I would have done it while we were in Austin, but I waited until we got back to AZ and it was repaired and returned back to me in 10 days.
Love your channel! Contemplating getting a camper and have a newb question. When you all are boondocking at Wal-Mart or at the BLM land, do you go through the whole leveling process and disconnecting from the truck for those quick stops or not? Thanks for all the time you put into this! I've been trying to watch everything in order so have lots of catching up to do!
Couldn't agree more! We gave up TV a few years back and once we got the noise out of our head, we started getting better ideas from RUclips and now we're doing this! Thanks for coming along with us!
San Antonio, the Alamo, the river walk, it’s a cool place... at least when the weather’s nice! Texas history is always interesting... pretty sure that’s about the only A I ever got in school besides physics and that was probably a teacher grading error!🤣
No. The '13 fords have unreal headlights. Bright white that go all the way down the road. High beams are even better. If I was going more off road BLM, maybe, but I have a spot light I could use too.
take a little can of wasp spray pepper spray or something for the rattlesnake don't get bit. 😁 bear spray comes in Big can works good on two-legged rattlesnakes if you're hiking out west in the mountains where there's bears you need it 😋
Can't wait to see season 2! Love the videos. My wife and I hope to be able to document our journey this way. Still learning video editing. but, I'll get there ;)
Okay... it only took me 5 months, but I figured out the outdoor speakers. Its controlled through the Fade setting. If you push the volume knob in it goest through Base, Treble, Fade, etc. Adjust all the way to 100 and they should turn off outside. :) Didn't forget!
been watching you guys for a few weeks now. sadly i wish that i wouldve started moooonths ago. especially since i live near the caverns. safe travels to you and your family!!!
All depends on how much effort you'll put to get there :) For us, San Antonio was a drive-through destination. Not to say that it couldn't been a key destination, but we wanted to get to the Carlsbad Caverns and back home to AZ by 12/1, so we only stayed for a few hours. If you watch videos on the Alamo before visiting to get in touch with what really happened there... it would add so much to the experience. Plus there is probably a lot more to do there that we didn't even visit!
Please stop at Tombstone Territories RV park 8 miles west of Tombstone Arizona indoor pool ! Friday night jam nite with anyone plays musical instrument, many many pot lucks! Wonderful people from all over the United States and Canada! My wife and I will be there this winter! Jim & Susan
Harr harr ... So, you use the Gorilla Pod on the GoPro but not the Canon? Isn't the Canon a bit heavy to keep the Canon steady. You guys seen to really have some great times on the road. Good info for us newbies. Thanks
if you could get on a high elevation and take a picture back at your r v that would be nice or get out the drone that was some of the pretty terrain too beeeee safe
Shout out from Miami, Dreamers you're rocking-it..Texas was cool; enjoy how u captured that awesome footage of Siesta Bch FLA, and that shark was viscous...😂.. keep bringing it 💯
Thanks Jesse. we loved Miami. Can't wait to come back by sailboat and stay for a bit longer. Yeah, my shark clip didn't get the comments I thought it would :) I guess people knew it was fake, but I got a couple people!
Texas, despite all the hyperbole, is a pretty amazing place. I hope you made it down to Big Bend NP. Look forward to next episodes and next season. We're in Slovenia now and it's chilly. Happy travels and congrats on your first boondocking! Oh and loving the podcast! >--- Family of Four Vlogging our way around Europe ----
Loving following your family on your journey. We're in the market for a Go-Pro for an upcoming trip we're taking as a family. What model are you using and are you happy with it?
Touch to say because I haven't purchased a GoPro since their Hero 5 line came out. When I purchased, the Session Hero 4 was the only GoPro that didn't have a case (that muffled the audio) and was still water proof etc. Now none of them have a case. I still like the simplicity of the Session (and the price). One button ON & one button OFF. No LCD. I set it to Medium Frame size 1080 60fps (so I can slow mo in editing). However, the Hero 5 can shoot in 4k and still capture 60 fps (frames per second). Bottom line... they are all great. Spend as much as you can and consider a gimbal! :)
Tried to and failed. Awning was not repairable. You may notice that the awning is removed. Left it in TX. A new one was installed in AZ :) With an LED upgrade!
My parents drove their motorhome across the 10 in Texas and lost their awning due to the high winds. They were on their way to Phx to visit us and went to Mesa RV and got it replaced with their insurance.

I agree! I like the "between the episodes" episode the best! I like seeing the real stuff.
I’m a little late, but I’m glad you guys loved my home town of San Antonio. If you ever come back, I’d love to show y’all around. Safe travels.
All of you inspire us!!! We begin in a few weeks and thankful for all we have learned from your videos....
It’s so nice to see y’all here in Texas. It really is “like a whole other country”, as we say here. I'm glad that you didn't forget to include some footage of The Alamo.
One could even say that you were able to REMEMBER THE ALAMO!!
Lol. Well, technically cameras were not allowed inside and I wasn't sure the the Alamo police was going to chase me out! I remembered what happened there...so I was on guard.
Another awesome video. My wife and I visited San Antonio few times and we enjoyed it. Can't wait for next week New Mexico video.
Just FYI, I10 in west Texas has some really good rest areas. You can boondock in most and many have wifi and dump stations.
Where are they? I live in Texas, and was always told that it's illegal to stay overnight.
It's sad that they have to be PC! Stop changing history. When you go to San Antonio talk to someone from there. You will get the real history.

Thanks had a great time with you and your family. Glad you are sharing your time with us.
You're welcome! Glad you're here.
Enjoyed the review of San Antonio, haven't been there since 1956. Also liked Carlsbad, went there on my honeymoon too many years ago to remember it. Thanks, stay safe!
Spent the last 3 weekends binge watching your adventures. Thanks for the family friendly entertainment.

Thanks Kenneth.
Really cool watching you guys explore San Antonio. I haven't been home in over three years. Brought back memories. Can't wait for next season!

Lived in Texas for a year as I am a travel nurse, love it there. Also, I just bought a kyd tank top!

Just bought those flexible wine glasses. I just couldn't help myself, they'll make a great addition to our RV.
That's great. You'll like them.
BLM land is great for isolating and insulating yourself from humanity. I think it's necessary once in a while. And as Trish said (paraphrased) "the stars are amazing."

My dream is to travel all states in America. This year I'm starting with NY, Minneapolis and West Coast.
Fantastic. Did you see our NY, Minn. videos. West Coast will likely be Season 3.
I'm your new fan so I haven't seen all videos yet ;)
Been watching ur videos daily on the treadmill. I’m active duty navy about to buy my first rv and go full time while I PCS to California. Love yalls videos.
Awesome! So many benefits being active duty while RVing. Keep in touch.
It’s almost two years since you posted this. Wow how your children have grown up! And so many other changes, too!
We have been there and saw all the Texas Rangers. It was awesome. Such pride for them
Glad to see you loved the BLM camping. We are considering it and it makes me feel better to know you had a great experience!!
We're going to try to look for a lot more BLM in the West.
Lol, I have to chuckle. I was doing a test set up on youtube and didn't

Thanks Jay. Appreciate the comment.
You know, GPS coordinates of where you camped would be nice. Looks like a great place and I am always looking for new spots to camp. And if there is mountain biking; big bonus points.
That would have been a good idea to get! I'll start doing that on future BLM sites. I'll look it up on Google Maps and repost the location.

I love watching yalls videos, it was pretty cool to see our little town Iraan, Texas come out! Very cool.
Thanks Stephanie!
Lol you all are funny 😆 !! Missing exits but camara rolling 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Better than any show on tv! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Paul! I'll mention that to the production company we are talking to! :)
Keep Your Daydream very funny
I know it's an old video but I have to coment. We've been to the Alamo and River Walk. Unfortunately it rained most of the time so the boats weren't running. We did get to sit outside and had a great dinner. Hope we can make it back someday
Cannot wait till season 2! This is such a tease!
:) I know. But I need time to capture the footage and edit! :) So much going on here in Mexico to record!
The car scene 😂😂 hilarious! You guys are SOO funny
braunig lake rv park.. that is where my family and i rv park in the summer.
my favorite tip for san antonio.. stay in lighted areas at night and never walk teh streets alone
OMG I’m still laughing about the “..rattlesnake...slaughter canyon cave” and your expression while reading it. LOL!!!!!
Another awesome video! Look forward every week to your videos and following your family on your amazing journey.
Thanks Mike. We really enjoyed TX and New Mexico. The Caverns and White Sands is next weekend.
Yet another great video guys you keep me smiling looking forward to the next one safe journey's my friends.
Thanks Rick!
The Balloon festival would be a blast. We'd love to go. We missed the last one, but will hit their website to check out the next one.
Since I live in SA and own a RV resort (A real resort, not just a RV park) I totally agree. Mi Tierra has great food and experience old Mexico.
Charlie Brown
Which is called...?
How funny. We're sitting in line right now. First time here.
Never been to San Antonio before but from what I've seen in your video, I would love to stop by for a visit.
Yes, if you're in the area, it's worth the visit.
Good to see you back in the trailer, did you just give up on the awning or are you having it shipped to your next destination.
Nothing like West Texas at night! I love my state! :)
please remind the kids to really look around and enjoy those huge private Wide Open Spaces. As you know, and remember, almost all the places that we saw when we were growing up that were wide-open r all gone now. These will be some of their fondest memories. You guys r great parents to give them memories like this. Ty 4 sharing them with me. :)
Yeah, that's a good point. We really enjoying backpacking the JMT in the Sierras. That really provides the environment of untouched land.
Embarrassing admission, for the longest time, I thought the name of the channel was "keep Your Daydream Kid". San Antonio was beautiful, thanks for bring us along.
Many people think KYD Travel (Keep Your Daydream) is short for KID Travel. :)
I can just picture the fantastic drone footage. Love it
Lol. Would have been great!
Another great video! Look forward to the videos all week!!
Thanks!
This is awesome 💛 do y’all have any advice on how to keep field mice and other critters out of your rig ? -thx
this was one of your best episodes very entertaining. one day I need to visit the Alamo.
Thanks Eric!
Bill Anderson I live near SA and go there all the time it's the boat that costs money you can walk for free
Good point Bill. You're right. Access to the Riverwalk is still free. The boat ride was $10 each. I with RUclips allowed me to do annotations so I can update it, but they took that away if I use the end screen links. YT is trying to make everything work for mobile. Anyway, good point.
Thanks for responding.
keep after those tires do you have a remote sensor you can put in your truck the sensor to go in the tire low pressure it will squawk a signal to the controller
Yeah, we do have a TPMS. It's nice not to have to check the tires all the time.
Ok how about the trailer if not they are on the web controller & sensors
Eeeztire (tpms)269.00 at Amazon tire pressure & temp 😂 you can get cheepy for $60 😞
Evidently you didn't drop enough drones are cool hints before Christmas! LOL When I hear more I'll know it's getting close to your birthday?
Old Fart Young at Heart... great name! Trish got me a drone for my birthday! But I broke it a couple episodes before this one. It's fixed now... all is right in the world :)
hey Marc what was that last comment about the drone...is it broken again or still...love the videos and footage when you do the drone..
Yes, it's still broken (at the time of the video). Had I known DJI would have fixed it so fast, I would have done it while we were in Austin, but I waited until we got back to AZ and it was repaired and returned back to me in 10 days.
Is the needle still at the river walk? it had a restaurant at the top that revolved.
Yes! We saw it, but didn't do it. Should have at least mentioned it.
Oh me, y'all tickle me, naturally funniest RUclips channel there is!!! Keep'er between the ditches.
:) Thanks Taka!
Tricia missed the turn... So lovely to be in that car there with you all again.
if you are in central texas at or near october... new braunsfels has a wicked oktoberfest. they also have glass bottom boats and its really coooool.
I work on a race car we have a genset we put in the back of the pickup when not using it is covered up little Honda will go a long way
This is what reality TV should look like!! I've been TV free for over 5 years now because it's all crap! So glad to have found yall through RUclips!
Couldn't agree more! We gave up TV a few years back and once we got the noise out of our head, we started getting better ideas from RUclips and now we're doing this! Thanks for coming along with us!
Keep Your Daydream For sure!! Glad to watch it unfold!
San Antonio, the Alamo, the river walk, it’s a cool place... at least when the weather’s nice! Texas history is always interesting... pretty sure that’s about the only A I ever got in school besides physics and that was probably a teacher grading error!🤣
We're heading to the river walk for the Christmas lights. Where did you camp in San Antonio?
I can't remember, but I remember not wanting to stay there again.
any plans of getting a led light bar for the truck for better visibility
No. The '13 fords have unreal headlights. Bright white that go all the way down the road. High beams are even better. If I was going more off road BLM, maybe, but I have a spot light I could use too.
You guys are talking about history and the Alamo and I'm over here like that's a nice F-150 platinum. LOL
Lol. I love my truck! Raptor engine too.
Oh, I sure hope you were able to stop at Bucee's when coming thru New Braunfels. That is a video in itself.
take a little can of wasp spray pepper spray or something for the rattlesnake don't get bit. 😁 bear spray comes in Big can works good on two-legged rattlesnakes if you're hiking out west in the mountains where there's bears you need it 😋
Catching up on the last vlog and this one! Texas is beautiful! you guys need solar!!!
Solar is coming... I hope! It will help us a great deal with everything we have that plugs in!
Can't wait to see season 2! Love the videos. My wife and I hope to be able to document our journey this way. Still learning video editing. but, I'll get there ;)
Just got back from a Cat ride in Mexico today. Season 2 is going to be great. Thanks for the comment.
Tip #6 take a Segway tour. Sounds corny, but it was really cool.
We did that in Austin. You're right. So much fun.
I just love you guys your all so awesome I so enjoy your videos. Great Alamo tour
Thanks! Appreciate your comments.
Okay... it only took me 5 months, but I figured out the outdoor speakers.
It's better this way... you don't have to wait for Sunday at 7pm like everyone else :) Don't catch-up too fast.
Great video. Is the Alamo as good as it sounds. I've been wanting to go down there and see it for a while.
Keep Your Daydream okay I might look into it. And I can't wait for season two.
Please stop at Tombstone Territories RV park 8 miles west of Tombstone Arizona indoor pool ! Friday night jam nite with anyone plays musical instrument, many many pot lucks! Wonderful people from all over the United States and Canada! My wife and I will be there this winter! Jim & Susan
I love San Antonio. Too sad you didn't do this video in 2012 before I went. 😂
Great video could you add campground location to description of future videos thanks
We did start doing that in Season 3.
I must admit, the drone footage was pretty cool!
keep the rubber on the road.
Lol! Good one.
hey guys, where do you stay in Arizona when you take a break from traveling?
Cool stuff. Bye the way, what are you using for you camcorder "selfie" stick?
Selfie stick! Come on. Please :) GoPro Sesson 4 and Canon Rebel T5i with Gorilla Pod
Harr harr ... So, you use the Gorilla Pod on the GoPro but not the Canon? Isn't the Canon a bit heavy to keep the Canon steady.
You guys seen to really have some great times on the road.
Good info for us newbies. Thanks
I love the editing on these videos, really good
Thanks Caitlin! :)
if you could get on a high elevation and take a picture back at your r v that would be nice or get out the drone that was some of the pretty terrain too beeeee safe
>--- Family of Four Vlogging our way around Europe ----
Thanks Mel and crew. We're going to get setup for Boondocking because we love the independence and privacy. Glad you're listening to the podcast.
Keep Your Daydream ...thanks for your insight! Journey on...
Hi I watch from England your videos are awesome. I was just wounding on how you make your you tube videos when your travelling in your RV :D
Love it. We have many viewers from the UK. Welcome!
It was hard to tell but did you get ginger repaired. You talked about it 2 episodes ago but never mentioned it.
