Clayfighters was a fun game until you went up against someone playing as The Blob. He could cheese his buzzsaw move forever. Even when blocked it still did decent damage.
Actually just picked up the grey Donkey Kong 64 NFR for an absolutely steal. I have some NFRs 64 games but would rather have the money than the DK64 demo in my collection.
I’ve only watched the first two and I already had to stop the video for presuming to explain “why?” and then completely failing at it. First, Rage Wars gray variants were intended as warranty replacements for people calling in and complaining about a glitch they might encounter in the original version of the game. Obviously, few people ever called and the vast majority were found in a box of new, uncirculated cartridges purchased from an auction of items from Acclaim’s old offices. F1 Racing Championships isn’t rare because of there being little interest when it was released. The American version is rare because it was only released in Brazil. That’s why you see that symbol that’s not a real ESRB logo on the label.
The rarest one I've ever had my hands on was an Shadowman 64 cartridge with PTBR translation. Idk from where that one came from, but I've never ever found another of those, couldn't even find the translated rom afterwards.
IIRC technically there isn´t a CIB version of the gray Rage Wars variant because it only ever was a updated replacement cartridge. The original version of the game on the black cart had a progression stopping bug if you played it in co-op, to get the updated game you had to contact the publisher of the game. Needless to say, not many people did that resulting in this now rare variant.
Rarity doesn't always mean $$$, Ocarina of Time has six NA retail variants and Gold 1.1 is the rarest of the bunch and the only source to get one back in the day was directly from Nintendo Power, but since there is no demand for this version outside tiny circles, it's value is lumped in with Gold 1.0.
I wish that I bought it I remember renting it regularly back in the day I nearly bought it when the rental store was selling off movies and games but instead I ended up buying a few random vhs tapes a DVD of 007 World is Not Enough and Donkey Kong 64 and Vigilante 8 2nd Offense
A good list, but you failed to explain why the gray Rage Wars copy was expensive. It wasn't simply because of the different color, but that version fixed a bug from the black cart copy that prevented you from finishing the game in Co-Op mode. This is also why the black cart original is not worth much
Ehhhhh not very interesting when each entry is some entirely-common game, but a weird offshoot that nobody owns. Any "valuable games" list that is nothing but stuff like this feels like a cop-out, I'd much rather be reminded of long-forgotten games when I watch your videos than just a collection of games with weird cart variants. Shout-out to the channel otherwise though, not trying to crap on the video, I've been watching everything you release for the past couple months and generally love the channel. Just not a fan of this kind of asterisk on a video.
What's happening here? Are you seriously making the conscious decision to censor the word "beloved"? In what mentally warped timeline is that word even close to being consided to be offensive?

I basically got the whole N64 library minus Star Wars battle for Naboo on Launchbox
Gimme gimmie😊
The actual rarest N64 game was my mum and dad playing Mario Kart 64 and not having an argument afterwards. Super rare.
the real rarest N64 game was the trauma we didn't make along the way
I wouldn’t mind having a retro market crash. I don’t sell my games anymore , I give them to people who I know will appreciate them.

Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetals

Imagine how many people that woulda written and got a stamp for that letter if it meant $6k 25-years later. 😂😂😂

5:25 Diddy Kong Racing WAS better than Mario Kart 64
Best videgams channel on ze youtuubez
I never knew that some of n64 games were expensive until now!!! :0 thank you, ol' wise one!
legend, thank you!
Also N64 WCW Backstage Assault and Aiden Chronicles they are both pricey and different cart colors
Great video guys!
Yeah, wish I had that copy of Mischief Makers right about now.
Which one is that?
@@goatbone Just an N64 game I owned I wish I'd kept intact lol

@@emperortrevornorton3119 Hindsight is a cruel friend lol
honestly that was the craziest list I've seen but I liked it interesting to say the least 😅 🙏
PSA- if you're going for a complete set, the label and cartridge variants are unnecessary. Retail games are good enough
I agree. I have the whole set and after what I paid for games like sculptures cut, no way would I pay that again for what basically amounts as a demo
I paid about $20 for Super Bowling about 15 years ago. I was surprised years ago when I found out how much that game is now worth.
Back in my day Not for Resale meant something.
people these days don't care about the damn law
6:09 Of course it's going to be Rare.
I wish I knew when I was younger to have my parents by two of everything and keep one in the box. We would be loaded right now 😂
I rented Clayfighter 63 1/3 Sculptor's Cut several times. I wish I'd known I should have just stolen it lol
👀
Vultures we’re back in action N64 expensive time
Ok. Now I have to play all of these on my Super 64 multi cart.

Agreed. Explanation is everything on some of these. Like F1 racing championship NTSC was only released in Brazil which is why it is hard to find.
No PAL games?
