    I have been working with polymer , silver, beads, and wire for roughly 17-18 years... and dabbled in MANY other things like Resin, etc. And ive also looked,and looked at people's videos of making faux stones as they are a huge love of mine. And i have to say... you faux stones look Great, but your malachite is PROBABLY one if not THE best I'vE seen! It really IS AMAZING

      Mo Clay your welcome! I've had time to look at your other faux stones, and they're unbelievable... ive see terrible, all the way to the most complicated. You have honestly been able to come up with the most realistic stones ive seen. And the funny thing is your methods are NOT complicated! You found a very natural way that made sense and it worked! Just amazing.. i dont know you, so i don't have any reason to butter you up! Lol Im blown away.. IF you didn't tell anyone they were clay, I honestly don't think ANYONE would be able to tell that they weren't the real thing by just appearance!

    incredibile, sembra proprio una pietra vera! mi chiedevo se si sostituisse una delle strisce bianche con una striscia di pasta translucent, secondo te verrebbe bene?

    • @moclay
      @moclay  8 лет назад

      Aggiungere traslucido nelle false pietre sempre fa bene perché da all'oggetto un effetto finale un effetto più "pietroso". Ricorda però che il bianco traslucido non schiarisce gli altri colori ma li rende meno intensi. Perciò io aggiungerei del bianco traslucido ma non leverei il bianco :-)

    Beautiful pendant like the way how do you come up with b frill wire, I question whether you szlifowałaś it with sandpaper? whether it was an ordinary cloth which zanurzałaś in the water? because then polerowałaś jeans and the effect is great

    • @moclay
      @moclay  10 лет назад

      Hi Anastaja, I don't know if i understood :-) but i try to answer. Then, I've smoothed (szlifowa - gładki) the piece with sandpaper. First with sandpaper n.600, after n.800 and n.1000. The fabric i use is Jeans (Denim) and is not wet

Como ya te dije no se puede hacer esta arcilla en casa, pero en India seguro la venden porque tengo otras personas que me siguen y son de India... así que supongo se pueda comprar también allá. Escribí tiempo atrás un pequeño librito con las instrucciones básicas... no sé si aquí aparecerá el link al pdf.... yo intento.... Bájalo y así puedes conocer la base de cómo se trabaja este material. www.file-pdf.it/2015/02/11/arcillas-polime-ricas/ :-)

    Gracias de verdad por toda tu ayuda y amabilidad y por las molestias que te has tomado. De verdad. Eres tan buena... Si, aquí hay algunas tiendas como craftadda pero son muy caras porq es importado. También Itsy Bitsy tiene muchas cosas. Gracias mil por toda la info y por el enlace de china. Un abrazo :)

    • @moclay
      @moclay  9 лет назад

      Pero imaginate! no es nada!! En esa tienda china vas a ver que vas a encontrar el material a buen precio. Yo he comprado otras cosas y realmente no tuve nunca problemas. :-) Bueno ojalá lo consigas!! Abrazote!

    Monica gracias mil por tu amabilidad y respuestas tan rápidas de verdad. Aquí he comprado terracota q dice air dry y he hecho cosas pero me da miedo meterlas al horno y no se cuanto tiempo ponerlas. Pero si no las meto al horno parecen muy frágiles. Y también he comprado polymer clay pero dice air dry en el paquete. Por eso estoy un poco perdida con lo del horno. Por eso te preguntaba si se podía hacer en casa. Es q tb se puede hacer pasta de sal, porcelana fría o pasta templa pero no es lo mismo verdad? Y que piensas de liquitex o modpodge para barnizar?
    Dime si quieres algo de india... Yo también viví en Italia 3 años y fue una experiencia estupenda. Gracias por todo y por tus maravillosos vídeos .. Me encantan los de las joyas.. Los estoy viendo poco a poco

    • @moclay
      @moclay  9 лет назад

      Blanca, no, si dice air dry quiere decir que es un producto que seca al aire. Con la terracota puedes hacer muchas cosas pero no puedes hacer los objetos que muestro en mis vídeos. Como te dije tienes que comprar el Polymer Clay y lo distingues porque en el paquete te dice que hay que cocinarlo en el horno. En el pdf que bajaste hay unas fotos de los paquetitos de estas plastilinas. Besistos!! :-)

    • @moclay
      @moclay  9 лет назад

      Blanca Dean Blanca perdón, pero cada tanto me ponen tus mensajes como Spam y cuando les pongo ok, desaparecen :-) Entonces te contesto. La receta en ese vídeo es de una porcelana fría. Con ella puedes hacer algunos trabajos. Lo que no puedes hacer es la técnica millefiori y algunos efectos que se logran con las arcillas. Normalmente en el info box indico si el trabajo puede ser hecho con air dry clay. En ese caso lo puedes hacer también con esa masa casera. Busqué en internet y vi que hay una tienda online en india: blog.craftadda.com/ pero me parece que el precio es muy caro. En china hay un sitio que venden el polymer clay y otros productos a precios muy buenos y envío gratuito. Se llama Aliexpress.com En esta página encontré algunos productos it.aliexpress.com/wholesale?SearchText=fimo+polymer+clay+oven+bake&catId=&initiative_id=SB_20150218071811 Para ver si el precio es bueno, te digo que aquí se compra por 1 euro 70 un paquetito de 52 gr de Fimo. Beso!!!

    How do you know when to use soap and when to just use water to sand? And do you ever dry sand?

    • @moclay
      @moclay  6 лет назад

      sorry for the delay in the answer. You can always use soap. It is used to slide the sandpaper better over the surface and to prevent dust from sticking to the sandpaper.

    molto bello!!! grazie!!! vorrei farti una domanda....hai mai fatto un video (penso sia una tecnica base) per ottenere le sfumature di tre o piu colori? so come si fa a fare quella con due....ma con piu colori no nsaprei da che parte iniziare...ho guardato nei tuoi video ma mi pare di non averne visti. Grazie!

    • @moclay
      @moclay  10 лет назад

      Ciao Lorena, metterò un video in questi giorni. Ma nel frattempo, dato che hai visto il tutorial della sfumatura a due colori, dovresti saper fare con la stessa tecnica anche una sfumatura a tre colori... Si fanno tre salsicciotti (ogni salsicciotto di un colore diverso) e procedere come hai visto nel mio tutorial per la sfumatura a due. Se non hai capito... presto lo metterò online e vedrai che è semplice. :-)

      transparent stones are difficult to be done with polymer clay because clay is not transparent ... is only translucent

    Ottimo lavoro. Se mi è permesso un suggerimento prova ad usare per la lucidatura finale la pasta che nei brico vedono per togliere i graffi dalla carrozzeria delle auto. Io la uso con oggetti di pasta polimerica, resina epossidica e metalli. un esempio... goo.gl/photos/MousbxfHNZnawT3G7
